Historical places of great importance. Hawa mahal very poorly maintained. The ticket was priced at ₹52/- which seems rather off. Always problem of change. Old city called pink city, the colour is fading which does not look pink.

The Amber fort visit is worthy.
The Amber fort visit is worthy. The palace ia much better than any other palaces I visted in India and the elephant ride to the palace is truly memorable. The attractions were very interesting. The food is excellent. However, the city centre is too dirty and chaotic. Also, it's very difficult for pedestrians to walk on the streets and cross the roads. I felt the room a bit cluttered but much better after I moved the big table to outside of the room. It was a pity that two deluxe double rooms weren't available as we booked a budget and deluxe as two deluxe weren't available despite us being the only guests. Jagat one of the family owners was a fantastic help as was his Sister and other brother. Anyway we had a lovely stay.

It's also great value for money. The very best thing about this hotel though is the owner and it's staff, Gajendra (the owner) could not do enough for us - he organised travel, helped us when we arrived very early before check-in, and even looked after us when we got ill from food poisoning! The staff here made our visit to Jaipur so much better and easier :)
