Cinisi is a rather small village mostly with rural properties and a main street with gas stations, small stores, and a restaurant. It is convenient for one night travelers. I would recommend staying there only if you need to catch a flight and avoid possible traffic jams from Palermo.

Great property for airport transfers, well maintained, clean, staff is wonderful, they serve a limited dinner menu but was perfect for us. there are also a few restaurants near by [will need a car] and 1 that will deliver. This is our 2nd stay here and we will stay again.

Mid-September is clearly end of the summer season.
Mid-September is clearly end of the summer season. Many shops, bars and restaurants were closed.
Palermo city centre is 50 minutes by bus. Approx one bus per hour.
The town square is very pretty.
The bakery is amazing and definitely worth a visit.
The train station 25 minutes away (walking).
The neighbouring town of Terrasini is definitely worth a visit and is walkable.

While I was only there about 15 hours, including a one night stay at the very nice TAM B & B, I did explore for a couple of hours. I ate one of the best burgers that I have every had at the Imperial Burger, just 2 streets from my B & B. I particularly liked the genuine friendliness of the residents that I came in contact with. I loved the beautiful streets, especially the one that housed Imperial Burger, because that street was lined with live orange trees full of fruit! You don't see that everyday.
I closing, I want to return and spend at least a weekend in this beautiful town.
Respectfully,

Our host, Davide, was exceptional in many ways.
Our host, Davide, was exceptional in many ways. He met us as we arrived, brought our vehicle to his garage (even gave up his parking space!) He gave us detailed information on the area (Ragusa) which we loved! The house was exactly what we needed - there were 5 of us (single women) and we each had our own bathroom and full bath on 3 levels! He owns a lovely area (the pool opens in June) across the street from our place, and we enjoyed late afternoon cocktails there. The kitchen was well-stocked (great coffee!) and the beds were very comfortable - with flat screen televisions in each room. Highly recommend!!!

We are very happy with service provided by the staff.
We are very happy with service provided by the staff. They are kind and helpful. Hey picked us up from the airport on time and dropping us off at the airport at the early hour of 5am with noe problem. We have nothing but praises for them.
The property is clean and the room is comfortable.
We stayed there for two nights before moving on to Malta and Palermo.
very conveniently located, only a short drive to the airport (14 min) so I would really recommend this place for your first or last night in Sicily. we spent our last night here, unfortunately it was raining when we were there but the hotel actually has a sun terrace which I believe is lovely in good weather. our room was spacious and well equipped. the entire hotel is beautifully presented and decorated throughout. the interior was very pretty and well maintained. the hotel is in a small side street so it is very quiet and comfortable.
Our 2nd stay here. It's very convenient to the train station for Palermo or airport. The villa is super comfortable, lovely lounge, kitchen well equipped. But the best is the hosts. They think of everything you might need and supply it. Then they add many extras such as a bottle of wine. It's a short walk to the beach or restaurants and shops in Cinisi. A big thank you to Maria for picking us up and dropping back to train station and also finding us a great restaurant. Even an impromptu tour around. We'll be back!
We tremendously enjoyed Borgo la Chiusa. The overall experience was simply phenomenal: amazingly confortable bed, perfect bathroom and shower. Everything was functional, updated and decorated with the utmost taste. Our host Valentina is more than a wonderful person, ready willing and able to help whatever is your need. She took care of us in a superb manner making sure our stay was unforgettable in all aspects. She is a magnificent person in all aspects and you will be the best hands possible.
Beautiful room with a lovely patio at the pool. We were impressed by prompt and flexible shuttle service. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived way after midnight. The driver picked us up, and we arrived to the villa in no time! The breakfast was delicious and was served in a charming sitting area. We definitely did not expect our short stay in an airport hotel to be so great! We also have to mention friendly staff - the receptionists, drivers, and cleaning crew. Thank you
We were delighted by this hidden gem! It is very close to the airport and the area of Cinisi was very nice with plenty of amenities and a pretty town square. Our hostess was very gracious and kind. Her breakfast was delicious! The hotel is beautiful and carefully and very tastefully decorated. Some real thought was put into all of the details to make for a perfect stay.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with the small private pool and balcony. We will stay here again!
The best thing about staying here was the property owner Dário and his family. Exceptional!! Dário knew I was nervous about getting a ride to the airport the next day. He arranged a driver and to calm my nerves, he even sent me a picture of the car. He went over and above to solve an issue in the apartment. Such a caring individual that made me and my daughter feel safe and important. His wife and baby were wonderful as well.
il Pirata is close to the airport and easy to get to. Taxi service was easy to secure for a day trip to Palermo. Front desk clerk Sara was very helpful. The restaurant downstairs had a plentiful breakfast each morning and the lunch and dinner menu items were excellent. I recommend the Panelle for starters and Seafood spaghetti. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.
Great location for Cinisi as well as Terrasini which is also close by. The owners were super helpful and met us at the property as well as returning early the next morning (we had to catch a flight) to make us a beautiful breakfast selection!! Private parking was also really handy and security was great as the property is gated. Thanks for having us!
I chose the property because it was close to the airport and a very reasonable price.
I didn’t realise what a beautiful place Cinisi is, and the couple at Sunset cottage were really lovely! They took plenty of time to chat to us and we’re really friendly. The animals in the back garden were a special bonus.
A very nice place close to the Pozzillo beach. Nice view from the terrace of the beach and the mountains surrounded. You will enjoy a nice local breakfast. Also the host has good recommendation of restaurant near the hotel. The appartment is cosy and clean
I had a very relaxing last day in Sicily here. the pool and loungers were great and the receptionist was welcoming, professional and spoke excellent English. breakfast was very good.
it’s extremely close to the airport, but the room I had was very quiet.
Owner met us at the gate to give us the keys and show us around the property. Communication was excellent. Near PMO airport so location perfect for first or last nights. We got there too late to use their beautiful pool.
Great Host and amazing place to stay. Very close to the airport. Place is new, very clean and very comfortable with a swimming pool and the best Sicilian pizza place next door. Perfect!
Nearby the palermo airport, reasonable comfortable bed for the price
Accepted late check in at 1am
The owner drove us to the airport, but it was expensive for 10 min drive (20 euros)
