The International Hotel is exceptional for the price. My room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and air conditioned. Housekeeping cleaned the room and brought fresh towels daily. There was a 24-hour reception and the concierge called a cab for me when I departed. The breakfast was wonderful with the normal Italian breakfast foods but also hot scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel is also a short walk from the center of Iseo and the train station.

Loved the location. Terrific views of the lake and island. Pool club across from the Locanda offered even better views and was not at all crowded (probably is during the summer months). Restaurant at the Locanda was good and had terrace seating with views of the lake.

Good for cycling and hiking.
Good for cycling and hiking. Not a lot of restaurants ,bars or coffee shops. Missed the flair of italian little villages and towns. No coffee shops or bar at the lake. Not much to do apart from taking day trips to Brescia or Bergamo. Prefer Lake Garda, its more lively and has more to offer to tourist. if you prefer peace and quiet Lake Iseo is a good choice.

The location is beautiful, overlooking the Iseo lake and the island of Monte isola. Large swimming-pool, good breakfast, good size of room and very pleasant owners. The hotel is clean and well-run. The restaurant is closed, but Orazio nearby provides good food at reasonable prices. On the negative side, the furniture and decoration are rather old-fashioned, but it did not bother me.XavierMonaco

As the hotels in Milano were fully booked, I have booked a room at Vela di Soleville. a familly owned hotel, with very stylish equipment and extremely big bathrooms (with built in shower room and massage bath tub)….the best part of my stay was enjoying on the terrace with an astonishing view on Lago di Iseo and…as Foodie - their home restaurant with glass walls with the lake view was one of the best Finds in this year. Fantastic food and wine and in overall…perfect stay!!!
