The hotel was in a former villa with an attractive sitting room and dining room and a little roof terrace. It was quiet, with a beautiful view of hills and trees but within easy reach of the centre of town. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff were friendly and helpful.

First of all Urbino is an amazing and beautiful medieval/Renaissance town. This hotel is right smack in the middle of it. Tough to find but well worth it! Park in the parking garage outside the walls and it is a short walk. The room was great and the front desk staffed with friendly people. We absolutely loved this place. We stayed one night wish it had been two.

They added new ones to our pleasant moments in Urbino with their friendly welcome, comfortable room and personalized breakfast option. A peaceful place located within walking distance of the city. We also liked the informative details about the city in our room, which was very clean and made us feel at home. Thank you so much for everything!🍀

Proximity to the historical center, grocery shops and bars. Lots of greenery around the object, so it remains cool during summer temperatures. The ability to enter the object with the provided key at any time.
Urbino is a beautiful medieval town. Quite hilly so bring decent shoes. The ducal palace and art gallery is a must see but wandering around and sitting in a cafe looking out over views is just as atmospheric. It’s quite quiet and not silly prices. Local Passerina wine is a new favorite

The city is a jewel!
The city is a jewel! In addition to walking around and through the city, we took in the Museum at the Palazzo Ducale. We grabbed coffees or spritzes in sunny spots overlooking the surrounding hills. We could have enjoyed a 2-3 day stay...

Urbino is not a big place.
Urbino is not a big place. A dedicated person can walk it in a serious day. But if you want to do museums and shopping, really do the place, you should allow three days. The schedules of the colleges affect your experience. It is a different place when students are there, very lively, maybe too lively. It is touristy when the students are not there, but most tourists are Italian. If you like meat, Urbino has it. The food in general is outstanding. It is not a great place for people with mobility issues. Very hilly, uneven paving stones. It is very, very clean. You won't sleep late. The loudest bells ever made by human hands ring at 8 and again at 8:15, and then sometimes yet again. You'll get up. But morning there is so lovely that you don't want to miszs it anyway.

Urbino is a UNESCO's world heritage site, a university town and birthplace of many important fugures, yet overlooked and unknown amoung international tourists. After years of longing, I finally had a chance to visit this mesmerising place where Raffaello, my most favourite painter, was born.

We stayed in October, so not many tourists, to visit the Ducal Palace. Fantastic architecture, interiors and were lucky to see Raphael exhibition. Also a visit to his birthplace.
Great restaurants. Particularly liked the friendly family atmosphere at Trattatoria Leone. Authentic delicious food with great service.

Wander around, visit during the evening where the only activity is students making merry. A day will easily do it but it is not a typical "tourist" town and is all the better for it. The Duomo is closed for repairs.

Location was great, in the heart of Urbino as expected. The decoration of the house is really nice, I rented that place because of that, it is really difficult to sleep everyday in a place like that. The appartment has 2 bathrooms, ideal for few people like us, we were 5. The kitchen is small and we do not used more than breakfast. All de facilities were good.
Eguido's property is a wonderfully traditional apartment, in a quiet part of Urbino, just outside the old towns walls, with stunning views of the old palace. Parking is available close to the apartment.
It had everything that we required and more. Very comfortable, and clean, and a pleasure to retire to in the evening.
Very nicely renovated and well kept country house at a 5 min drive from Urbino, in a quiet location surrounded by gentle hills and the occasional fawn and boar. Breakfast features home-cooked cakes and high quality cured meats. Apartments are clean, rooms are wide and stay at Ca' Balsomino is overall the most enjoyable.
Nadia is one of the most welcoming owners I have encountered on my travels. We booked very last minute, an hour and a half before arrival, and she texted us immediately after booking and was waiting for us out front. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has all necessary amenities. The location is ideal!
There is a portico along the block with the entrance to the hotel which was nice since it was raining when we arrived. The location was within steps of everything we needed. There is an elevator. The room was large, comfortable and had views in two directions. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
EVERYTHING was excellent! The room, the view, the staff, the pool, the hiking (walking) opportunities. Historic Urbino is only 9 Km away. We had excellent dinners in the restaurant and great breakfasts in the patio. A true resort, with bikes and horses available, and ... did I mention the pool?
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, particularly both men on reception. The hotel is in a great location to go into Urbino. Lovely pool, great food in the restaurant and lots of choices at the breakfast buffet. Room was cleaned daily, had air conditioning and lots of space for storage.
The place is in a very convenient place if you're on a roadtrip. We decided to stay 2 days in this B&B to visit Urbino, San Marino and the sea side of the region.
The place was great and the breakfast was SUPER with all handmade cakes (They gave me the recipes).
Recommended.
The hotel is situated in one of the prettiest old towns of Italy . Unfortunately not internationally known to lot of people . Hotel is good for short stay . What I liked the most was the owner was looking at small details for making her guests special .
Very unique! Spacious room and bathroom. The apartment fits perfectly with the historical and cultural atmosphere of Urbino. And Alessandra is a great host (customised breakfast and very willing to help in any way).
Coffee and cookie assortment, water, juice, and wine provided in room. Rafaela is delightful. Location is perfect for visiting Urbino. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We highly recommend Residenza Ambrogi.
The hotel is nice and personnel are very kind. The location is great and you can park nearby for free if you are lucky. Wifi was working well and the room was small but nice.
Very good location and very capable manager.
She was waiting for us in front of the hotel as the entrance is unique positioned.
She also booked our dinner table.
Beautiful building set on top of a hill. Very friendly welcome from hostess. Had everything we needed and lots of good suggestions for places to eat in Urbino
