Albergo Italia was Urbino’s first hotel. Set in the historic center, it is a 5-minute walk from Palazzo Ducale. This hotel offers free WiFi throughout and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. Breakfast was delicious and opulent. Location fantastic, easily reachable by elevator from the parking. View beautiful, like from the castle :). Rooms are comfortable, impeccably clean, everything is new.

Hotel Raffaello is in the heart of Urbino's old town, and takes its name from the famous artist whose house, now a museum, you can find just a few yards away. The staff were very kind and helpful and they made sure all of our needs were met. The view from our room was spectacular!

The Hotel Bonconte is an old villa, recently refurbished and modernized, offering every comfort with top class service. It is elegantly furnished and comprises some antique pieces. An amazing hotel just outside the city walls. It is very well located and has an old world charm. We were upgraded to the deluxe suite with jacuzzi and steam shower. Very unexpected and we really appreciate the hospitality and friendliness. The breakfast was fantastic, an all you can eat buffet and made to order eggs. Perfect.

The Albergo San Domenico hotel is an old religious complex that is located in the main square of Urbino, directly in front of the Ducal Palace, between the Cathedral and the University. Excellent location to visit Urbino. Very quiet, despite being so central. The room was beautifully furnished and it was good to have tea-making facilities, although milk would have been welcome too. Very clean. There was a vast choice at breakfast and the staff were very helpful.
Hotel in Urbino
Set in the green hills around Urbino, Hotel Mamiani & Kì-Spa Urbino features a brand-new spa with hydrotherapy pool and beauty center. Ver good breakfast - coffee was tasty! Clean room, nice cosmetics. Although hotel has 4 stars in our opinion that is quite old building. Located nearby of centre of the city. Free parking and nice reception - that is important.

In a peaceful location, Hotel and Residence Dei Duchi offers a personalized service, and spacious rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. Historic central Urbino is a 5 minute drive away. We got an upgrade, we booked a triple room + a separated room for my daughter, but in the end, we got a big room for four, which was nice. In the end, we forgot my daughter’s bag and they promptly notified me to pick it up. Awesome!

Hotel Tortorina is located in the hills surrounding Urbino. It has panoramic views and features free parking. The Tortorina’s rooms are simply decorated and include a satellite TV and private... The staff is super friendly, and the room is clean. Parking space outside the hotel is available as well and it's really handy. The hotel looks a bit old, but for one or 2 days it's good.
Urbino
Featuring free WiFi throughout, B&B Villa Paradiso offers accommodations less than a 10-minute walk from the center of Urbino and 1969 feet from Urbino Cathedral. The location is perfect for exploring Urbino and the countryside. Our host, Sabine, and her staff were most welcoming and made our stay very comfortable & memorable. The room was large, very clean, had a comfortable king size bed and great shower. Sabine provided fresh local products for our sweet & savoury breakfasts. She recommended a wonderful restaurant/pizzeria (Amici Meie) which was outside the city walls and just 5 min. drive from the B & B. The lovely historical town of Urbino is in walking distance. However, much of the city has steep inclines and make walking it challenging. There are public parking sites with elevators. I highly recommend staying at B & B Villa Paradiso.
Urbino
Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Residenza Ambrogi Luxury Suites is located in Urbino, 1640 feet from Urbino Cathedral. Free WiFi is available throughout. Room was small, but otherwise truly a luxury accommodation. Host graciously accommodated our late arrival. Stunning, quiet location.
The city is a jewel! In addition to walking around and through the city, we took in the Museum at the Palazzo Ducale. We grabbed coffees or spritzes in sunny spots overlooking the surrounding hills. We could have enjoyed a 2-3 day stay...
Urbino is not a big place. A dedicated person can walk it in a serious day. But if you want to do museums and shopping, really do the place, you should allow three days. The schedules of the colleges affect your experience. It is a different place when students are there, very lively, maybe too lively. It is touristy when the students are not there, but most tourists are Italian. If you like meat, Urbino has it. The food in general is outstanding. It is not a great place for people with mobility issues. Very hilly, uneven paving stones. It is very, very clean. You won't sleep late. The loudest bells ever made by human hands ring at 8 and again at 8:15, and then sometimes yet again. You'll get up. But morning there is so lovely that you don't want to miszs it anyway.
Urbino is a UNESCO's world heritage site, a university town and birthplace of many important fugures, yet overlooked and unknown amoung international tourists. After years of longing, I finally had a chance to visit this mesmerising place where Raffaello, my most favourite painter, was born.
We stayed in October, so not many tourists, to visit the Ducal Palace. Fantastic architecture, interiors and were lucky to see Raphael exhibition. Also a visit to his birthplace. Great restaurants. Particularly liked the friendly family atmosphere at Trattatoria Leone. Authentic delicious food with great service.
Wander around, visit during the evening where the only activity is students making merry. A day will easily do it but it is not a typical "tourist" town and is all the better for it. The Duomo is closed for repairs.
I read a London Tribune article about the best sites, hotels, and restaurants in Urbino. I followed the recommendations which were perfect. I traveled to Urbino via public transportation which is time consuming but it was totally worth it. The extra info that visitors should know is that one needs to take several elevators through a mall from the bus station to arrive at the historic center. A very kind university student explained this to me when I disembarked from the bus and helped direct me to my hotel.
This was clearly the best hotel we booked for our trip in the Marche. The owner of the property was very warm-hearted and gave us useful suggestions for day trips out of Urbino and good restaurants. The rooms, in particular the large "white room" were spacious, decorated with good taste and the bathroom facilities were excellent. We also very much appreciated the tea kettle provided. Visitors to Urbino need a minimal amount of fitness. There is a lot of walking up steep slopes, also from the centre of the town to the B&B.
Urbino
Our hostess was absolutely lovely. Very warm and friendly with good local knowledge. Her breakfasts were delicious and kept us going well past lunchtime. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The A/C is the quietest I've ever experienced so we slept well too. I'd recommend Porta Santa Lucia to anyone visiting Urbino, which is an undiscovered gem in Italy.
We really enjoyed our overnight stay, our room for three was actually a suite of rooms one with king size and one single, each had its own bathroom facilities. Great location just inside the city walls . We chose a light breakfast but the buffet looked very impressive. Staff were very helpful. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.
The place was very clean and close to Urbino. Breakfast was very nice (of course Covid restrictions on not having a buffet are a bit painful) and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful in pointing out places of interest to visit, where to eat, where to park the car, etc. Overall recommended
Urbino
This place is something out of a dream - picture perfect rolling hills, breakfast in the garden with a view of Urbino, a historical house with vintage decor and family history. All 5 minutes driving distance from the city! Very helpful staff as well. Would definitely stay again!
- The dude at the reception was very kind and helpful to me. I still thank him. - Room very wide and spacious, with a table and a couple of wardrobes. It looked more like a small apartment. - Free parking next to the hotel. - The elegant furniture and decor of the reception.
Urbino
Teresa and Paola are the best host ever! They made our stay very comfortable. The location is quiet and nice only a couple of minutes drive from Urbino. The breakfast and the dinner was very delicious in the agriturismo and the hosts made the best whatever we have asked.
Urbino - historically important and very interesting old city (Palazzo di Ducale is amazing) Staff helpful in recommending and reserving a restaurant. Hotel is in a quiet location, has beautiful views, the bed was comfortable and had free parking.
Nice, lovely and wide room with frescoes on the ceiling in the historical center of Old Town Urbino (which was at the same time a blessing and a curse, read further). Fresh modern private bathroom, very convenient shared kitchenette.
The location is OK if you come by a car, otherwise it is quite difficult to get the historical part of the city even if it is not so much far from the hotel. There is a good parking zone in the hotel. The breakfast is nice.
The staff is super friendly, and the room is clean. Parking space outside the hotel is available as well and it's really handy. The hotel looks a bit old, but for one or 2 days it's good.
Urbino
Urbino is a bit far of the main cities but we really had great pleasure to visit this beautiful city. It´s surrounded by walls and offers a great amount of historical architecture.
Urbino
quiet location near Urbino, spacious room & terrace, owner making excellent pizza one night for dinner.
Great place right in the centre of historical Urbino, nice & helpful staff.
The only thing this hotel has going for it is a perfect location.

Good location to visit Urbino
EVERYTHING was excellent! The room, the view, the staff, the pool, the hiking (walking) opportunities. Historic Urbino is only 9 Km away. We had excellent dinners in the restaurant and great breakfasts in the patio. A true resort, with bikes and horses available, and ... did I mention the pool?
The staff were very kind and helpful and they made sure all of our needs were met. The view from our room was spectacular!
Camera, terrazza panoramica, cortesia staff
