Albergo Italia was Urbino’s first hotel. Set in the historic center, it is a 5-minute walk from Palazzo Ducale. This hotel offers free WiFi throughout and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. staff very friendly, great location right in the middle of town, good room, nice breakfast, additional things like cappuccino provided, just ask! Next time I will choose it again and also recommend it to my friends.
Set in the green hills around Urbino, Hotel Mamiani & Kì-Spa Urbino features a brand-new spa with hydrotherapy pool and beauty center. Staff are always extremely courteous and professional. Location is terrific and avoids the congestion of trafffic parking when visiting Urbino. There is also a wonderful restaurant adjacent to Mamiami.
Located a 5-minute drive from the Urbino's historic center, La Meridiana is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Montefeltro hills and features a swimming pool and a restaurant. It was a good location to explore Urbino and the surrounding countryside. The pool was very nice. The staff was very nice.
Walk to the city center in 15 minutes from this 3-star hotel, offering good public transport connections, friendly service, and large accommodations with panoramic views over the countryside of... The room was clean, the staff very helpful and the breakfast was good. It was a quick walk to the centre of Urbino Old Town, and the free parking nearby was ideal. The view from our window was so-so - it would have been beautiful rolling hills and a glorious sunset but the hospital ruined it. All in all an average hotel and adequate for our needs.
Hotel Tortorina is located in the hills surrounding Urbino. It has panoramic views and features free parking. The Tortorina’s rooms are simply decorated and include a satellite TV and private... Old but cosy hotel. Near the city of Urbino (20 minutes walking) with free parking. The swimming pool was closed. A very good place to eat near by is Pizzeria Marco Magno located half the way to the city. Urbino is a mediaval city you must visit. It is not crowded as other old cities in Italy. I plan to be next year also. Fully recomended.
Hotel Raffaello is in the heart of Urbino's old town, and takes its name from the famous artist whose birthplace you can find just a few yards away. Wonderful room with all the amenities and a beautiful view over Urbino. The town is gorgeous and good for walking except for some steep parts.
In a peaceful location, Hotel and Residence Dei Duchi offers a personalized service, and spacious rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. Historic central Urbino is a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is great. It's a little bit of a walk, just over a kilometer, to the wall where most of the sites are located. There are buses right near the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, in fact, they recommended sites to visit that were not referenced in the tourist books, and were among my favorite places in Urbino.

Urbino is a treasure trove of renaissance art and architecture. Not as hectic and crowded as Florence but with ambience and culture to match the big cities in Italy. Sitting in the Piazza at sunset with an aperol spritz is a treat. The city is small enough to walk every corner and our two days gave us ample time to enjoy all the sites.
Urbino is unfairly sidelined by foreign visitors when it comes to the most beautiful spots to visit in Italy. It might probably because it is - comparatively - a little more difficult to reach (only by bus, no train station), but it is nevertheless absolutely worth it. It is a splendid town, magically nestled on a hillside, and if one has any ideal clichés about Italy in mind, they will all come true right there: walled city, small paved steep streets, churches here and there, fantastic food. The hometown of Raffaello is perhaps most know for its majestic Ducal Palace, which hosts one of the best museums I had the chance to visit so far, the "Galleria Nazionale delle Marche", one of the most important collections of Renaissance paintings in the world.
There is an amazing sense of history to be found there. We especially liked the Ducal Palace museum, with its opportunity to imagine the palace life of the Duke of Montefaltro—we loved the magnificent inlaid wood private rooms of the Duke. We wish there were more paintings by Rafaello there, but appreciated the two that were there.
Fascinating medieval town, full of historic and artistic treasures. Requires time (and strong legs!) if you are to get the most from the experience. Excellent food at reasonable prices with the host's guidance.
Through no planning of our own, we happened to be here during the town's saint's day. There were families gathered in the main piazza watching a road race and raffle drawing, and we were able to enjoy it all from the sidelines of a cafe while sipping on Prosecco. The next day we visited the Ducal Palace, but should have set aside awhole day instead of a couple of hours. It's an amazing place, both as a museum and an architectural wonder.
Urbino was beautiful! My son studied abroad for 4 months there. My family and I met him when the semester was over to travel around. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Location was great! Only complaint was the room was hot- didn't know how to work the AC.

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Disma Urbino. Although we had to drive to get to Urbino, our home away from home felt secluded and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our breakfast use. Bruno and Lella couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We were sorry to say goodbye!

Literally, home away from home. Sabina and Michele’s house is decorated with such good taste, the rooms are large and pretty, and the breakfast in the morning is big enough. The location is perfect, a 10-minute walk from the city centre of Urbino. The overall atmosphere is delightful.
