I loved the room. The location is superb. I would have like a little more variety in breakfast. Also the menu needs to be creatively changed every day or alternate days at least. Fixed menu is tiresome.
Located 1.9 mi from Piacenza city center and a 5-minute drive from the A1 Motorway Exit, Hotel Ovest offers free bike rental, a fitness center, and elegantly furnished rooms.

Beware of staying in an "HOTEL" calling itself Il Moulino Relais
The description in Booking com is definately wrong.
It's not an hotel by all means. Its a villa.
we stayed there a horrible night and ran away the next morning
We were alone without any staff at a open and deserted villa who describes itself as an top Hotel.
Keep out

Except missing chairs in the room (no one chair at all), and no electrical receptaples ( where to connect your computer?? no chance),. forgot to mention that wi-fi signal there is only in the ground floor but very weak or no signal at first floor, Also, looks like new practice, almost all hotels have no reception service, you never see the owner, only key collecting by means of code/pin but very often the owners not sending in time mentioned pin/code, I know it is something new, modern, but that is all together a big bulsh..t, hotel owners are going to loose clients I'm sure and I'm not sorry about them....

Piacenza is the kind of town I love to visit: an under the radar gem that has some lovely architecture, some interesting museums, great food, and very friendly locals who are really happy you came to visit. Very few tourists, and most of them were Italian! It is comfortably walkable, on the Milan to Rimini line that goes right across Emilia-Romagna, and I'd say it's well worth a day-and-a-half visit. Another lovely town quite close by with the same kind of vibe (though its a bit more famous because of Antonio Stradivari, a centuries-long tradition of violin making, and the violin museum there) is Cremona.

The only thing I enjoyed about Piacenza was how compact the city center is. However, there aren't many places that are worth traveling there for. By foot is the easiest means of getting around Piacenza...it's not really necessary to take public transport.

There are too many nice places to go in Italy to spend time here. In fact, to me, all of Emilia-Romagna can be skipped. Try Lombardia, Umbria, Toscana . . . hell, it's hard to find a region in Italy that doesn't offer much more than E-R.

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city!
The city centre is magnificent, the little shops on main street are charming.
I would recommend to visit Piazza Cavalli and Duomo and just walk around the city centre. Also visit Parco della Galleana (its a park) is very beautiful specially with the autumn colours.
Take a stroll down pubblico passeggio.
Lastly I would finish the evening with a dinner at LoFai restaurant (incredible vegan food for vegans and non vegans...but I would recommend to call ahead as it gets quite crowded) and drinks at Caffè dei Mercanti which is just meters away from Piazza Cavalli and it is a charming place.
The staff was amazing. Very polite and ready to help. The room was more than we could ever wish for: modern, very clean, central, comfy mattress, extremely spacious. Towels, shower goodies, kettle and tea, hairdryer, anything you could possibly need was provided in our room. The Italian style breakfast was at the bar downstairs and the choice was great. If we ever come back to Piacenza, we will definitely book Casa Michela again. Thanks again guys, you were fab !
One of the best apartments we have rented. Clear instructions. Attention to details. Comfortable and spacious. Walk to everything in Piacenza.
For some reason, the parking app came up with a different code for the parking lots where we parked -- just outside the ZTL. We were not sure that we would not be fined. So, we used the machines at the lots that took credit cards to pay for parking.
I am so happy I stayed my last night in Italy in this beautiful little flat and in beautiful Piacenza.
My stay was great. I could check in earlier😊
the flat is close to the beautiful old town with nice coffee shops and restaurants. (The flat is well
equipped for cooking your own meal)
It was clean, nicely furnished and your own little courtyard.
I liked everything about the property.
The studio is 10 mins walk to Piacenza's city centre. We did not have problems in finding a parking space at a walking distance from the flat, but keep in mind that is free only overnight (which is to be expected as it is near the city centre).
It was a good find for an overnight stay. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom adequate.
Agnese was also very responsive.
Good location in Piacenza. Walking distance from everything you want to see. Check-in was very easy - good instructions for self check- in. Very clean apartment. Spacious bedroom and living area. Very big balcony with ourdoor furniture - we had breakfast on balcony! Bathroom and shower was good. We really enjoyed our stay! Will stay there again!
The property is a former palace and has still old paintings from the XV century in the walls, lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the owners are nice and responsive.
Location in Piacenza is very good, very central, but for that reason there's nowhere you can park your car without having to pay.
Rooms are clean and spacious, the building is lovely and in the city center, staff was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, they also recommended great places to for food and breakfast and amazing further tips for our travel from Piacenza
Nice traveller and business hotel on the outskirts of Piacenza.
Location is great for travelers though it is well outside the city center. Parking is plentyful.
The rooms were large and comfortable and service was excellent.
Recommended.
Very nice studio apartment. The owners have thought of everything. They are also very thorough at check-in. The apartment is uniquely decorated and every centimeter of space is optimized for a very comfortable visit to Piacenza.
Excellent location, very easy to reach from the motorway and, at the same time, close to the city centre. Clean hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. Very quiet at all times. Parking on the side of the hotel.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the few decent accommodations within easy walking distance of the Piacenza train station. Wi-Fi worked well. Price was reasonable.
Clean and well maintained apartment. Better than Hotels in the area.
Owner was so accomodating and friendly that she even offered us home made pasta since all the restaurants were closed.
Lovely jewel of a place. Fantastic breakfast. Beautiful rooms. This was our third stay there in a month as we traveled around while visiting our daughter in Piacenza.
Comfy, clean and spacious apartment. Very kind host. Close to the city center of Piacenza, 15 minutes walk to the trainstation. Bars and restaurants nearby
This is the second time I have stayed here and I HIGHLY recommend this boutique hotel.
Very clean, good food and the staff is beyond accommodating!!!!!
