A historic center is easy to walk.
A historic center is easy to walk. The train station is clean and an easy short walk to the old walled section of town where people gather at sidewalk cafes. The historic bridge is a popular place for people to gather and visit and the views from there are exceptional. The town is prosperous and very clean. The people are friendly and helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem.
We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The historic center is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and cobble stone streets. We especially enjoyed visiting the old bridge (Ponte degli Alpini) spanning over the river Brento. The town offers a variety of great restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. There are also several smaller towns in the vicinity of Bassano del Grappa worth visiting. We were there on a weekend and plan to come back again during the week to visit some of their beautiful and unique shops.

This is probably THE ideal area to visit.
This is probably THE ideal area to visit. Imagine everything on one spot. Alps. River. Vinyards. Architecture. History. Arts. Heroic stories. Venice and sea to the south. Verona nearby. Close to motorway and major airports. Prices lower than elsewhere. Hospitality. Honour. ... I could go on and on. I want to move there, honestly.

Lively, with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours. Excellent location between Venice and Trento. One hour from Venice on the train, and two hours on the train (through the mountains) to Trento. The grapperia on the old wooden bridge is worth a visit. Good views of the mountains.

Lovely little town on the Brenta river with lively night life and a pedestrian bridge.
Ancient buildings and a castello make this a beautiful town to walk around.
We didn’t visit the museum as no time but it looked interesting.
We would like to return to see more.

Excellent location between the train station and the central city. This made it easy for the day trips by train and bus to places like Cittadella, Asolo, and Marostica. Many of the competing hotels were a longer walk to the center of the city. I liked the fact that bicycles were available free of charge which made it easy to get to the supermarket (Conad City about a kilometer away) to pick up some groceries. Nice fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
The hotel is in an excellent location in a quiet side street & a very short walk to the historic centre.
I stayed 3 nights in a single room at the back so no view but very comfortable & cosy.
The staff were all friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay here again & will recommend Hotel Brennero to friends visiting Bassano del Grappa.
This is a recent upgrade and the results are wonderful. It is tasteful, impressive and very comfortable. Despite being in the middle of town it is also quiet which is a real bonus. Although I haven’t been in many hotels in Bassano I would guess this is probably the best place in town, Enjoy.
Perfect accommodation! Very comfortable bed, i loved triple pillows. Spacious room and bathroom, very clean, also silent.
The host is very friendly and always ready to answer.
Definitely will stay there again
We arrived quite late and the nice point was that there is a resturant (running my the hotel I think) just opposite to the hotel entrance, and it's open till mid-night. Perfect for night snacks!!
Location was excelent, in the very center. The view from the place was amazing, the place is decorated very nice and was very spacious. Everything was clean. Just amazing.
