Vicenza is superb for about 3 day stay - to recover our tastebuds after Germany - and is charming for that period. There were a number of exhibitions and museums (and the Theatre Olympico is a must) together with pleasant food, wine and company

We were only in Vicenza for 2 full days so we went to the ticket office and purchased a pass to visit 4 museums/attractions. We used 3 on just the first day so went back for another 2 on the second day (6 in total). Each one was terrific and well worth a visit. There are endless cafes and restaurants so we were never short of somewhere to sit and relax and enjoy great food and drink. Also lots of great shops.
Our hotel was very central so everything was within easy reach. For those who record their steps each day, we did a bit over 10,000 each day - very manageable.

Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy.
Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy. It has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, great museums, and incredibly kind people. The history is everywhere. Recommend visiting the numerous churches, museum of jewelry, and the theater if you have to choose just a few things. The city is walkable with many small streets to walk through while window shopping.

A lovely upscale town.
A lovely upscale town. Very safe, lots of restaurants and bars. Beautiful Palladian architecture. Highly recommend Palladian Tours. We had a walking tour and a self-guided e-bike tour (with GPSand online narration) of the Palladian villas on the outskirts of town. It’s a long but fun day! Avoid the restaurant called Prep on the main square: tourist trap that charges three times the coperto of other places on the piazza, accepts only cash (which you don’t know until time to pay), they insist that pizzas are personal size only even though it’s large enough for two people and will not let you share, and they have no boxes or means of transporting leftover pizza for you to enjoy the next day.

Vicenza is a very beautiful and historic city, and the advantage is that it is not overcrowded with tourists. Vicenza is close to other cities like Verona, Padova, Trento, and Mantova. There are frequent trains from Vicenza to all these places. It makes it a perfect place to know not only the city itself, but also for travelling to all the other places around it.
Spacious and comfortable. Our host Giorgio greeted us within a few minutes of our call to him. Took the time to explain all about the property so we knew how everything worked and local tidbits of information. A short 5 minute bus trip from Vicenza Station with the bus stop nearby in both directions. And the cafe' downstairs Bar Pasticceria Rosanna di Farneda Pietro on Via G. E di Velo run by a lovely couple Alessandra and Pietro is an absolute must for your morning caffe'. Loved the place, the city and our time in Vicenza.
I have only good things to say about the hotel: not expensive, easy to find, easy to park, close to the center of Vicenza. I would not go by foot to the center from the hotel, but with the car is very fast.
The room was spotless, the bed was super confortable with good quality linen.
Also, the staff was very attentive, calling us ahead to see when we arrive so they make sure the reception will be opened upon our arrival.
We did not try the breakfast and the restaurant, so no comments on this part.
We booked a room at this hotel because of the restaurant. It has been one of our favorite restaurants in Italy for over 20 years. This was our first stay at the hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Great shower. There was a small refrigerator which was convenient. Breakfast was good with a nice variety- even fresh squeezed juices. Plenty of free parking. It is a quick drive to town. Walking is also possible and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in Casa di Leo so much! Marco is a great owner. Everything were in time and without any problems. The location is great, very closed to the center of Vicenza. There were a lot of restaurants and bars. The big supermarket Spar is 5 minutes by car from the appartment. Marco was also very kind and sent me the keys from my flat in Prague, which I forgot in Italy by post. We hope to return back to this nice place.
Very good hotel for staying with friends when traveling to Vicenza. We had a spacious room with much space, it was quiet and clean, and the bathroom was comfortable. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, location - walking distance from the historic city center. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, and also very responsive before our arrival via WhatsApp and mail. For five euros, we had a place in underground parking.
The location is perfect, in the middle of the historic center of town, very close to the railway station. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel: old and neat with efficient, minimal services. I would like to send a big THANK YOU note to the cleaning staff; my room was spotless every day. It is been a while since I have seen such a level of cleaning. Staying at this hotel made my trip to Vicenza unforgettable.
This hostel is in a good location, close to the few sights Vicenza has to offer. The hostel is very clean, the staff very informative and the breakfast very good. The breakfast is Italian style which is mostly cakes and cookies but they also had cheese and ham. The coffee machine is good and there is cereal and jogurt. Everyone is very nice and the guests come from all over the world.
The breakfast was amazing! Pool was very large and our family had so much fun! The property is right next to a huge shopping mall and we were able to get snacks, shop, and get to experience Italy with comfort by staying at this hotel! i recommend the family suite for families!!
My stay at this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations, it is a comfortable modern hotel, a perfect stay if you are on a business trip in the Vicenza area.
Kind and helpful staff, good breakfast nice rooms and free parking!
Ask for restaurant recommendations for the area…
it is an incredible experience for an American architect to stay in a historic palace right next to the main Corso of Vicenza. It’s a great building with a lot of history and some wonderful things to learn and you’re right near everything else. What a pleasure.
Room was comfortable and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to city center. The AC worked very well to cool the room at night. Very close to the train station. Gated (but not fenced) parking directly in front of the hotel. Pet friendly.
We loved the peaceful charm of the locality
.Parking eas advantageous,It felt safe and Vicenza was a really lovely city with wonderful architecture (A.Palladio),Teatro Olimpico and the Rotonda in the hills particularly noteworthy.
The room was beautiful right in the historic center of Vicenza. Cute cafe on the street level with delicious pastries. I was surprised to find a small balcony to look over the street and enjoy bustling night life.
A well-equipped, super-clean, comfortable and roomy apartment for a more than reasonable price, close to the highway exit Vicenza Est, which makes it a perfect stop on your way further into (or from) Italy .
The breakfast and location were great. I’ve stayed twice. The first time my room was renovated and more modern. The second time more antique like. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean.
This is quite a little gem in the center of Vicenza. It lives up to its Glam and Boutique title. Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast included with the room rate is excellent.
