Beautiful property on a working farm with excellent views of Etna. Rooms were spaced nicely for a quiet and relaxing stay. The pool was a lovely addition, but we didn’t swim in November. Staff were generous and helpful. Dinner on the farm was very good and typical Sicilian food
Set in its own lemon grove, family-run La Terra Del Mezzo is at the foot of Mount Etna. It features an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant, and is 2625 feet from the sea and 1.2 mi south of Riposto.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Great swimming pool and a lovely garden. Sara and Memo are very enterprising, and great hosts. The welcome was great, we arrived late due to the address of the property not being correct on booking.com, but received a great welcome with a home cooked dinner and fresh patisserie daily for breakfast. If you are animal friendly, you will get a second welcome from a friendly furry creature called Igor, visiting at his designated hour for a nap on the terrace. We will definitely consider staying there if we get the opportunity to go back.

Riposto is a nice location to stay on the east side of Silily. You must have a car to get around. It is convenient to visit other village near by. We only sleep in Riposto and spent most time during days in other villages near by. Other than the hotel facility, there isn't much to do around this area.

The town of Riposto truly has a hidden charm. A cutting-edge tourist port, a historic center that can be explored on foot, a very long seafront where it is possible to do physical activity. Excellent Sicilian food and folklore

Beautiful little coast and port town overwatched by Etna and the see. There is so much good food both in markeds and in restaurant. I really recommend this town and nearby Giarre with great shopping alternatives.

I liked the Sicilian atmosphere, the friendly people, the gastronomy, the panorama of Mount Etna and the harbor.
We used the train connection to Catania and Taormina, which is very convenient and reliable.

Riposto offers a great base if you want to visit Taormina and Catania. It's a small town with a number of eateries, local shops etc, away from all the tourists. There is no beach apart from a stretch of shingle just outside the town, but you can swim and snorkel here. It's not somewhere you would want to go for a beach holiday or entertainment, but great for a quiet base to tour from.
I stayed here for two nights in September with my wife. Maria and Giuseppe were really welcoming. They made us feel at home guiding us through the choices of good restaurants and wine cellars around Riposto.
The Villa is charming, with clean and comfortable rooms and with an amazing view on Etna Volcano. From Riposto it is possible to reach in few kilometers several points of interest (e.g. Etna, Taormina, Catania, Acireale).

Although embedded in an area almost “offroad” and with railroad nearby, this is a nice hotel in a Lovely surrounding in the middle of a tree nursery, green with of a bunch of plants and palm trees and flowers, a nice boutique style hotel. Interesting architecture, friendly staff. The separate suites are quite Bauhaus style and may be a little too uncharming, even if they have their own jacuzzi (which was quite cool)
Well situated close to the railway station for trains around the island. Two balcony’s with views across the Mediterranean and of Mt Etna. Very well appointed three double bedroom apartment that had everything needed for a great stay. Hostess is lovely and extremely helpful. The town of Riposto has a charm of its own with some great places to eat and drink.
I would highly recommend Appartamento Donna Rosario.
Only sweet breakfast was available but considering the Italian culture and Covid restrictions it is understandable. The lady who welcomed us was extremely friendly and even waited for us after the check-in hours when our train was late. I definitely recommend this place and the whole city of Giarre-Riposto, especially comparing to dirty and smelly Catania. Public beaches are pretty nice.
We liked the hosts very much. They met us and showed around. The appartment was very clean with spaceous and comfortable terrace. The car parking was inside the yard behind the gates, so we were comfortable about the car's safety. A washing machine was very handy. There are many restaurants and grocery shops around. Riposto itself is close to Etna, that is why we cose to stay there.
The owners of Palazzo Rosso made us feel really welcome. The garden is beautiful with a big pool, a lot of lemon and fruit trees and a small playground area.
Palazzo Rosso is also a fish restaurant and it was really nice to have dinner downstairs and be in a few minutes in our room. Our small one also enjoyed it there very much and at end of our stay, she didn't want to leave.
Peaceful, beautiful, and with incredible staff. The hotel is surrounded by lovely gardens and we could see lava flowing down Etna from our room. Staff were so nice and even pressed by husband's shirt when they noticed it was wrinkled. The restaurant was really good. Breakfast was the best I had in Sicily and many locals come in for a nice dinner.
The staff is absolutely amazing and caring. Special thanks to Evelyn and Elena who pampered us, always with a smile and sweet words! Thank you! Colleagues at reception were also extremely nice and helpful! Great attention to details throughout the hotel and by its staff! Grazie mile! Matt & Dario
Breakfast was good. Location was a good spot to travel from also from the fish restaurants nearby which had fresh fish and was excellent. As for the town of Riposto which sadly the beautiful buildings is now run down and needs sprucing up a bit. So it was nice to come back to the hotel.
The hotel is located next to the sea with the best view on Etna and the biutiful church. Staff are really nice and helpful people and the lady speaks English and Russian. The place has a sicilian climate, and the breakfast in the nearby cafe is just outstanding!
Beautiful property in Riposto within walking distance to local beach, bars, restaurants. The host was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and more, a well equipped home perfect for long or short stays.
the owner is very friendly. he waited a long time for us because we were late. he has prepared a big snack for our arrival. the apartment is also very well equipped. if we come back to sicily we will stay here again.
Very comfortable small hotel with lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and nice restaurant available for dinner although menu a bit uninspiring.
Perfect location for exploring the east coast of Sicily. Easy to find, lots of street parking and some cool bars and restaurants within walking distance
Clean and modern facility, great choice for a vacation in Riposto town. The staff is lovely and will make sure you are happy and your stay comfortable.
