Located in the hills, it’s more quiet than in Taormina. You have a nice view on the town & sea. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a good rest here. I liked the breakfast a lot, freshly made eggs and coffee and everything was tasty.
Located in Castelmola, Casa Blandano B&B offers accommodations with a balcony or a terrace, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a bar and a shared lounge.

Excellent place, very responsive hosts and a stunning village to stay in instead of Taormina.
B&B Casa Bellavista is set in Castelmola, 27 mi from Catania and 0.6 mi from Taormina. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site.
UNAHOTELS Capotaormina is perched on a rock below Taormina and is surrounded by the sea, offering an amazing view of the fantastic Giardini Naxos Bay and Isola Bella Island.
Amazing place to stay. We went to Taormina for the day and enjoyed Castelmola during the evenings. Amazing view of the city and Mt Etna from the castle. It was easy to get to Taormina and we used both walking paths to get upto Castelmola, we enjoyed both paths equally. Loads of good shops/restaurants in the area too. Pizzeria Nina for pizza was amazing.

Castelmola is a very nice and well maintained small village.
Castelmola is a very nice and well maintained small village. We ate in the B&B so I can not say anything about the restaurants but there are Some nice bars.
We had a parking space in front of the B&B for free

It's a lovely small village above Taormina.
It's a lovely small village above Taormina. It is quiet, has beautiful views and friendly locals. The centre is lively, however not crowded or noisy. It was perfect, we loved it even better than Taormina!

Old Narrow streets, little bars and restaurants with spectacular views from so high, quite small so not too exhausting walking in 30+ temperatures but plenty of choice for refreshments including the famous bar Turrissy. Ours was a "family" visit with my Wife and eldest daughter 39!

You have to climb to go anywhere.
You have to climb to go anywhere. There are only a few shops. Some restaurants don't open until 7pm. The views of Mount Etna are fabulous. It is very safe. Try the almond wine over a bowl of ice cream; you won't regret it.

Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
The views are incredible, the choice of food is fantastic, and the locals are warm and welcoming.
We were lucky enough to see Mount Etna light up during our last evening there, which made the whole trip for us.
The view spectacular. The hotel is decorated with antiques and the rooms are traditional in decor. The shower had strong pressure and hot water, but it is not enclosed so it neglected to warm the body fully. The beds were comfortable and liens clean and of high quality. The breakfast was very good with choices of pastries, meats, cheeses and soft to hard boiled eggs, made upon request! There was parking onsite for 7e or free down the road, but onsite was most convenient. The hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk below Castelmola proper.
Everything. This extraordinary view of Taormina, the location, the enormous size of the room, the room was very well equipped, it even had a kettle and some teacups! (that is very rare in Italy) tea, really nice toiletries, very kind staff who let us in before our check in time. They also offer excellent communication. Everything worked really well and we were staying in a well managed place where we felt very welcome. Grazie mille per vostra ospitalità !!!
The place was wonderful, very clean, spacious, with a great terrace and beautiful views. We had everything we needed and more. The host, Antonella, was very friendly and, although we didn't meet her, she kept regularly in touch making sure we had everything we needed and we were fine. Definitely recommend this property, just outside Castelmola and not far from Taormina, to anyone, especially people that like quietness.
Wonderful location in Castelmola right on the Main Street. We chose Castelmola over Taormina just to avoid the crowds and enjoy the view. I’m so glad we did. This apartment had a very well stocked kitchen, great hot water, comfortable bed and even a washer (although my clothes wouldn’t quite dry completely in two days). Communication with host was great and we’d absolutely choose to stay here again.
Surrounded by nature, with an incredible view of Castelmola and Taormina. It is remote, with the mentioned rooster near by, with its hairpin bends and unforgettable scenery, made it our best choice to close the two weeks journey in Sicily.
Simple, helpful and kindest owners I met in a long time.
Managed to visit from here Etna, Alcantara Gorge, Castelmola, Taormina and several beaches.
The village of Castelmola is beautiful and the property if five minutes or less from the center and from a great mimimarket. It is easy to catch the bus into Taormina. The house is well equipped and there are good supplies of water and fruit juice when you arrive. Giuseppe is a great host and replies promptly to calls for help.
We loved everything about the property. As soon as you walk in you are taken away by the stunning view of mount etna peaking through an arched window. this is especially beautiful as the sun sets in the evening. the hotel has a lot of charm and character. the staff are kind and welcoming. i especially loved how sweet one was!
The hotel is situated really high up on the mountain with magnificent views of Mt Etna. We had a room on the third floor (so be sure to pack light as there is no lift). The hosts were friendly and helpful although English proved a challenge. A decent typical Italian breakfast was provided in the morning.
Beautiful apartment, perfectly located in peaceful area between Taormina and Castelmola. Stunning view from the window. Helpful and hospitable personel who welcomed us with wine and snacks. The house was warm during winter. Highly recommended!
Good location to visit Taormina and stay for a night. Amazing views. Great service from the person at the desk, not so much from the lady serving the breakfast. Wonderful views, nice experience at a vintage hotel.
A lovely hotel in the equally idyllic setting of Castelmola. Has everything for a comfortable stay in a very nice area. The staff are also very helpful and welcoming. I would be happy to come back again.
Located outside Taormina close to castelmola. Host was great , received us with some drinks and offered great advices on nearby places. Restaurant has lots of options and food was great.
The B&B is located on a hillside with a great views over Taormina. A short walk to Castelmola. Restaurant is available on site and it has great food. Breakfast has room to improve.
