Amazing place to stay.
Amazing place to stay. We went to Taormina for the day and enjoyed Castelmola during the evenings. Amazing view of the city and Mt Etna from the castle. It was easy to get to Taormina and we used both walking paths to get upto Castelmola, we enjoyed both paths equally. Loads of good shops/restaurants in the area too. Pizzeria Nina for pizza was amazing.

Castelmola is a very nice and well maintained small village. We ate in the B&B so I can not say anything about the restaurants but there are Some nice bars. We had a parking space in front of the B&B for free

Old Narrow streets, little bars and restaurants with spectacular views from so high,quite small so not too exhausting walking in 30+ temperatures but plenty of choice for refreshments including the famous bar Turrissy. Ours was a "family" visit with my Wife and eldest daughter 39!

Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place. The views are incredible, the choice of food is fantastic, and the locals are warm and welcoming. We were lucky enough to see Mount Etna light up during our last evening there, which made the whole trip for us.LouiseUnited Kingdom

Two separate bathrooms were perfect for a group, comfortable beds, clean, amazing view, 30min walk by foot to Taormina, private parking. It is a bit challenging to go uphill with the car to Castelmola but in turn you get a very quiet apartment with a great view and some restaurants around. You can hear the neighbors a bit as the walls are not very thick but we personally did not mind; it was still very quiet in the evening and we slept well.IrisGermany

Breakfast is basic. A croissant (big though), a glass of juice, toast and coffee. The reason why you go here and will return over and over again is the views. Open the door to your balcony and you have the best 5 star view of Etna in Taormina and vicinities. The staff is lovely. Additionally Castelmola will get you a bit of the crowds in Taormina itself. Panorama di Sicilia is the place to stay.

It doesn’t have a touristy feel to it, while it has some great restaurants and lovely people. This little house is right in the center of old town and yet very quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great! Right next door is a great place to get coffee and a chocolate croissant. There is free parking about a 5 minute walk and a bus every hour to Taormina. The breakfast was very good - variety of salty and sweet so everyone can find something they like. Be aware that Castelmola is a village above Taormina and there is a steep mountain road to get to it with many turns, the traffic could be intense (depending on the day). We could park the car in a garage in the beginning of the village and left it there until we departed from Castelmola. We traveled with the local bus which was always on time.

To experience all of that you need a car to get there. It is a house with an amazing atmosphere, not a soulless apartment or hotel room. The openness and friendliness of the hosts is an undoubted advantage of this place. Collecting fruit from a nearby orchard with the hostess will remain in my memory for a long time.MałgorzataPoland

They really want to make you feel great at your stay. I had my birthday and they were so kind to upgrade us to the suite! They even wanted to prepare something for breakfast because we didn’t find anything gluten-free the day before. Very much recommend the stay here!

We left the car in the parking they told us. Then had to walk a few blocks. They sent us a video of how to reach the hotel. It was very useful.
