We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area.
We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area. It is off the normal tourist trail, despite being on a main train line with plenty to see and do once you are there. The Fabriano paper making museum is fascinating - we requested an English language tour by email and we ended up with a personalised tour, which was so appreciated - fabulous staff there. The art gallery was also well set out and very informative - we were amazed at the early artwork there. The amazing stalagmites and stalactites of the underground Frassassi caves are a short drive or train ride away and are absolutely stunning and worth the effort to get to. Nearby to the caves is walk up the hill to the Valadier temple set into a mountain cave - awesome views and well worth the uphill effort!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

A hidden gem in Italy. Wonderful old town, with small street, ancient houses and passionate history of paper craft. interesting collection of art in the art museum, hundreds of marvelous churches to visit and a beautiful nature sites just around the corner. Go there!ŁŁukaszPoland - 10Scored 10

Beyond the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service we received in the in-house restaurant. The B&B is on the edge of town and it was lovely to see the hills and slightly cooler than centre. Air conditioning was being installed. Good wifi, TV, small table, good bathroom, and access to a shared kitchen/dining room, savoury breakfast really appreciated.
