Most wonderful property and staff! Property is a peaceful oasis and one of two very special hotels that we stayed at during an 8-night trip to Puglia- highly recommend!
Breakfast was wonderful, outside, relaxed and delicious. Dinner was lovely too!

It e was a most inviting and comfortable facility. The staff were amazing.alexandro and his staff made me feel like I was visiting my cousin Vincenzo in New Jersey. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The recommendations for other restaurants was Superior. The rooms were good sized quiet and the bed was comfortable. The bar and bartender were Superior. It was surprising to have my favorite cocktail, the last word, in such a location. The Villa was quite centrally located and allowed us to visit numerous locations in the area.

Reasons why Dorotea and her daughter are amazing:
1. We got in at 1:00am and they waited up for us to get us checked in.
2. We washed some of our clothes in the sink and hung them on the shower to dry. When we got back to the room, they had hung up our clothes to dry in the sun. I almost cried it was so nice.
3. We ordered something from Germany to be shipped to the hotel and it got lost. The host helped us track down and retrieve the package.
4. They conversed with us every morning at breakfast and gave us recommendations.
5. The had homemade unique cakes everyday at breakfast.
6. They had fresh meat (homemade by Dorotea's father) and cheese every day at breakfast.
7. They made us custom swan towel art in the room!!
We were the worst guests and did not deserve them. BOOK THIS PLACE!!!

The location is a ideal home base for discovering the Puglia region. We used Paola's recommendations for visiting locations in the area. Staying in a trulli was a wonderful experience and we appreciate Paola and her family for sharing the home with us.

Martina Franc combines beauty and cleanliness with many of the services of a large city. The restaurants are very good. The cafes on the square are a great place to enjoy coffee and pastry while people watching. The people are friendly and helpful. My Italian is not good but if the person I was speaking to didn't understand me they found someone that did speak English.

Martina Franca is a charming town, not overly touristed, with many restaurants and bars. We especially like Muscato Bar for our morning coffee and cornetto and also for afternoon apertivi; Culo e Camicia makes fantastic pizza; fried pizza appetizer, and any pasta with with the homemade tomato sauce at Ristorante Garibaldi is THE BEST! The people of Martina Franca are friendly; many speak some English. It is a great base for exploring Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Taranto, and Grotto di Castellana.

I loved how clean it was and the secured parking and how close it was to old town Martina Franca. I also liked that it was a Trulli home . The host helped me so much in planning my travels while driving.

Martina Franca is a beautiful town, probably a little overlooked by a lot of visitors because of its close proximity to Locorotondo, Aberobello and Cisternino, though it also offers a great base to visit them from. The town has some fantastic architecture along its streets, particularly in the old town and the piazzas are great locations for admiring the buildings and a bit of relaxation. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and with less tourists around you can really immerse yourself in the Italian culture and way of life.

Martina Franca is an understated and not always well explored city, but worth a lot if consideration as a place to explore the region, it is a magical Baroque small city, divided into old and new ,and both worth time , esp the old section , beautiful squares, a magnificent Cathedral, where if you are lucky you my see a typical and exciting Italian wedding taking place any day of the week , so many restaurants, of all manner of food, amazing valley views of the Valle of idris and proximity to many well known and much visited villages such a Alberbello
Don’t miss this beautiful place , stay afew dys and be surprised

Not too small, not too big.
Not too small, not too big. It has enough restaurants and caffees to offer great variety of options and fun for a week or so, but the owners still have to care because the influx of tourists isn't unlimited.
The Tripoli caffee nearby, has an amazing ice creams, fragola and melon tastes are worth a million.
Famous Alberobello is only near 15 or-so kilometers away.
Good location, very close to the old city. There is free parking on the street but the area is a bit busy. It is true that once you have found a parking space, there is no need to move the vehicle to walk around the city. There is a supermarket nearby. A large apartment and a fully equipped kitchenette. Seems pretty useful for families. The host spoke to us with the help of Google Translate perfectly. But we did not have a problem with this type of communication.
The accommodation is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and so tasteful. The pool is marvelous. The staff are so friendly. Mario at reception is wonderful. He could not do enough for us! He fixed all our problems with car trouble. Elena was so kind. Monika and Olvidio were so friendly and sweet. Breakfast was excellent which I rarely say in Italy. We loved it here. The neighbouring towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo are exceptional.
The room was quite spacious and very clean. Views over the city were amazing. The restaurant provided lovely dinner options and the breakfasts were plentiful.
The hotel grounds were stunning with hidden spots to explore and amazing Wisteria trees that festooned the pergolas. This hotel will have been magnificent in its hay-day.
The historic town centre was beautiful. Go for a walk in the early evening to capture it at its best.
Paola and her family have been wonderful, very kind and generous hosts.
The trulli are spacious, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated and the big terrace is wonderful for an aperitivo or dinner outside.
The situation is ideal to visit the Itria valley with Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Noci and Putignano in easy driving distance.
And the kids have loved staying at a farm ;)
We’ll definitely be back!
the property is in the most fantastic location, a few steps from beautiful squares and churches. the inside was clean and the bedroom was very comfortable. the host was responsive and friendly. if you’re looking for somewhere to stay and use as a base while you explore martina franca and the surrounding areas then this place is absolutely perfect!
This is an absolutely beautiful location - a piece of Paradise in the gorgeous Puglia region.
The property has been renovated to a very high standard and decorated with exquisite taste.
The host, Paolo, has great plans for further expansion and it will be great to see the finished result in several years.
our hotel was a perfect farmhouse , it was the 2nd stop of our puglia trip after lecce . We enjoyed every minute of it. They welcomed us wonderfully , our rooms were very comfortable , the staff was caring and kind , the breakfast was excellent . I would love to go again, I recommend it to everyone..
The room has everything you need: a small kitchen, a private bathroom and a nice comfortable bed. It is well located as well, in the heart of the centro storico of beautiful Martina Franca.
The room was extremely clean.
The owners also let us check in early as well, which was really helpful!
Villa Messerá is the perfect get away. The sound of the wind, bird song & silence. Great outdoor space with a full kitchen, eating space, hammock & pool. Alessandra is a gracious hostess who greeted us with homemade foccacia & breakfast foods. We will definitely be back!
The trulli apartment was fabulous, clean, tastefully furnished and the apartment was exactly as pictured. Good location to Martina Franca, Alberobello and other Puglia's towns. For us, it was one of the most lovely and peaceful stays we have had in Italy :)
Property is exceptionally clean, comfortable, a few metres from the charming centro storico. best breakfast during our 20 days in Italy. Sara and Francesco are two of the nicest mist kind and helpful people we gave met so far. the room is wonderful.
Very cozy apartment in the heart of Martina Franca. The owner was super nice, very helpful and gave us lots of tips on things to do in the area. The apartment itself was super clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
A Warm welcome from Susan, very kind and supportive (for practical topics such as room key, iron etc)
Breakfast was lovely !
And also, great location as I attended a wedding in Martina Franca but also for sightseeing in Puglia.
Amazing location easy to park near and close to everything worthy of visiting in Martina Franca - restaurants, bars and sights. The room was great - very different from anything we had tried, but loved it!
very comfortable and spacious. Traditional stone house, but completely renovated in a very tasteful manner. The courtyard was very nice for breakfast, sitting outside on the terrace.
The apartment is in a great location just inside the centro storico. it is compact but well equipped and comfortable. Also, Cosimo was very helpful with advice and tips.
