Location and views are great, gardens are beautiful, breakfast was great , bar was was really good. A/C good but not great (coming from US) Staff very friendly and responsive. It is right next to the lift for the beach and ferries. Comments have stated run down but we didn’t feel that way at all and we are picky. it is a historic building and the decor reflects this.
The Hotel Del Mare is set in the picturesque fishing village of Marina Grande, just a short walk from the beaches of Sorrento. Enjoy magnificent views from its roof terrace.

This hotel was incredible after 10 days of sharing accommodations on a group trip. The bathroom was a dream. The TWO above shower heads brought me back to life. The king size bed was so comfortable for a great nights sleep. The absolute best part was the wonderful concierge man who let me check in at 10:30am. I would have happily stayed at this hotel for over a week if I could have. Note I traveled alone and felt very safe walking around this hotel and staying here.

We like the staff. They are very friendly and accommodating, especially Joaquin from the front desk, who helped us park the car on the day we arrived. We like the view. We like the location and its proximity to the piazza (Tasso), Marina Grande, and Marina Piccola. We also like the pool. The family room is spacious for a family of four with a very active toddler who likes to prance and run around when she's awake.
Just a 10-minute walk from Sorrento center you will find this modern hotel complete with swimming pool and a restaurant with panoramic view of the Bay of Naples.

Amazing place to stay with your family or friends.
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends. We enjoyed every moment in the villa. Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allows to enjoy lovely dinners in the terrace with the sea view. Moreover, pool and lemon tree garden allows you to cool down from the heat. And finally, Pino is such an amazing host! He helped us with everything we need, from finding best restaurants around to having some music in the villa.
