It was really pity to see the city -orphan (. Absolutely filthy , the beach literally dying before your eyes . We found couple of restaurants ( TO-TO and “COMPANY 2”with good food and our hotel ( boutique hotel ARCHEO was very well kept and only these 2 things gave us nice impressions. The plAce has big potential but local consul needs to do a lot more to clean the streets of the city .

The bed is super comfortable, there was lots of storage space and even though it was the weekend, it was super quiet at night. Our host, Giusi, went above and beyond, not only with the little extras like fresh pastries and water, but buying us another phone adapter (and would not let us pay for it), arranging a taxi to our next destination and was a huge help when our bus to Gela was cancelled.GailCanada

It is brand new, super clean and comfortable, gleaming floor, very nicely furnished, big bathroom, right in the city center, but on a quite street. WIFI works well. The owners' hospitatliy also showed through the little treats, along with coffee. Above all, Antonio's kindness is 20 out of 10. We came to Gela during a train strike. If it were not for Antonio's help, our visit to Gela would have been for nothing. Instead, we had the most memorable visit to Gela.

The shower in our room was amazing. We arrived grumpy and had difficulty parking. The owner went out of his way to help us and we were extremely grateful for his assistance. The host Joseph was incredibly friendly. When we asked him where to buy beach towels, he bought them for us and when we asked him how to get a taxi to the train station, he offered to drive us. The location is also right in the center of the town and our stay in the B&B gave us an authentic feel of Gela.
