We loved Ustica.
We loved Ustica. It was beautiful and peaceful, the water was so clean and the locals were friendly. Would recommend doing a boat trip round the island to see the caves and hiring electric bikes to explore - the roads were very quiet. For so small a place there was also quite a good selection of little bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend taking rock shoes though - while there are loads of fantastic places to swim, they're mainly rocky.

We went to Ustica, familly of five adults as we heard it was a great place for diving.
We chose the Orca Dive club, just near the port. Really good, competent, friendly - all you want from a dive club.
Utica itself is really beautiful, even though there are too many cars driving around.
You can dive, hike, swim, snorkel. Don't forget your water shoes. One dark sand little beach, if not its rocky. Beautiful clear water and a lot to see. Depending on the days we had to dodge jelly fish but that really depends on the weather.
Buses run every 45 mins, going around the island. So you can just get off where you want. Tickets are 1.50€ at the tobacco store, valid 90 mins. If you buy the ticket in the bus it's 2€
The views are fantastic and depending where you stay really peaceful.
Tons of restaturants but difficult to get a seat, if you did not reserve in advance.
2 main supermarkets - everything is at walking distance and not over priced.
We found Albergo Ariston the best restaurant. The food is just delicious and the staff really friendly. They even went to the local butchers and got some chicken breast for us, as it was not on the menu. Really wonderful place and has a beautiful view on the port/sea.
Ustica was perfect for us but people looking for sandy beaches should stay away and in our opinion Ustica is not ideal for families with small children.

We were there in August when it is very hot.
We were there in August when it is very hot. The sea is glorious, and we were glad to swim early and late in the day- but mid-day we just needed to stay in. We found some good food and enjoyed walking around. It's a remote and charming island and things are a bit more expensive because it's hard to get to Ustica.
The apartment’s location is very strategic, central and close to the harbour, restaurants, bars, shops, but at the same time very quiet at night time.
The managers are super professional and helpful and even if check-out is at 10am, they will store your luggage and provide facilities to take a shower before you leave the island - this was very handy for us as our boat was in the afternoon. Highly recommend.
Antonio and his family were the nicest most helpful hosts I ever met. What ever question we had he had an answer or just organized things for us. The location also is super because it‘s in the centre of Ustica from where you can reach a lot of restaurants, the port - where you can go on a boat tour - and you can rent a motorbike for exploring the island.
We've been here before:) It's a beautiful place, right in the center of Ustica-Village, yet quiet, it has several roof terraces with stunning views of the little harbor and the sea.
Salvo and his team are very flexible considering Check-in and out, we highly recommend the place
Spacious split-level apartment in the center of Ustica, 1 min from the main square where all shops and restaurants are. Still, the apartment is on a quiet street.
Is equipped with all necessary kitchenware, host left complimentary water and a quick bite.
Nice and helpful host.
The apartments have very convenient location with beautiful views over the island. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. All the hosts were kind and tried to help us whenever we needed it. We felt like at home and had a great time.
beautiful location and clean space..
the staff very friendly and always available
also good tips of things to do in the island
Saverio was taking care of the all place and very kind guy, highly recommended
definitely I’ll go back!!
Great house and great interaction with the host. It is a great place for a vacation in Ustica. Each room had its own bathroom which was great. It also had good amenities for self catering.
The house itself was stylish.
Great location, hospitality and check-in and check-out experience. Free pickup from the port and they arranged an electric bike rental for me which made getting around the island very easy. Would highly recommend
Everything was amazing. The owner was very kind, he helped us with whatever we needed and thus made our time in Ustica even better.
Ustica is a place worth visiting often.
Lovely hosts and a beautiful place some meters above the town of ustica. 5min walk to the center/port. Clean room, kitchen and comfy beds. We would definitely stay again!
