Cefalù is beautiful; one of the best places in Sicily. It is vibrant and the rock in the background is absolutely worth seeing and for some climbing. It has lovely restaurants. The vibe is like Taormina but much less stressful and a bit cheaper.

Alot of walking! But that's the appeal. You can walk to anywhere in town, to the beaches, restaurants and the beautiful church and square. Park your car and just walk. It is a wonderfully charming town - especially the old town.
It is a wonderfully charming town - especially the old town. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and beautiful areas to stroll through. The narrow streets and alleys are very cozy, and the cobblestone path around the cliffs by the sea is a delightful place to walk after a good dinner. As is often the case in Italy, the level of English proficiency varies.

The old town is fantastic and the shopping is great. We picked up some nice linen shirts and souvenirs. There are many great restaurants to chose from. The beaches are so clean, but beware of the waves. The lifeguards were on high alert when we were there as tourists don't swim to the conditions. They were having the pizza festival while we were there so this was a lot of fun and drew in a lot of people.
