This is a place of history and will remarks a beautiful memory on each soul who visit . A soulful place built by heart. The atmosphere and energy are amazing , and true, even the walls here , have a heart. Came on mid May 2024, as a group of friends of 3 , during the soft opening period I think as they are just open recently if I am not mistaken. The Spa, Library and Cinema Room still on renovation but Beatrice , the founder n owner of this place gave me a sneak preview and also took a little tour on each room who have their own designs and uniqueness. We also had a woman to woman chat on motherhood. So beautiful. Will be come back for sure not only to try the facilities, but also for making another remarkable memories and stay longer off course. All the staffs , Matteo, Maya and teams also welcome us as if we are part of their family too and customised our need. Best of the best accomodation that we choose from this early summer trip . Grazie Mille 💙

Lecce dazzles every visitor offering one of Italy’s best preserved walled historic centres. Its wonders include tasteful traditional cuisine, rich wines, and charming shops. Located near the crystalline waters of both the Adriatic and Ionian beaches, it is a perfect base to explore the Salentine Peninsula.
Its origins are unclear, but it is believed that dates back to the 12th or 11th century BC, when Italic tribes founded a settlement nearby, which Romans later occupied and relocated to its current position. The pages of its history are filled by Byzantine rulers, several invasions, a Norman rebirth, and an annexation to the Kingdom of Sicily.
Its distinctive Baroque style is combined with well-preserved Roman remnants. Don’t miss the historic centre during sunset, when the light creates a perfect contrast between the blue sky and the mild-yellow colour of the limestone buildings. St Oronzo Square houses the Roman Amphitheatre, while the outstanding Holy Cross Basilica is a must. Don’t miss the magic of staying in a hotel or B&B in Lecce’s Old Town.
The city is serviced by the local railway station, while Brindisi Airport is 45 km away. Whether you’re searching for rural accommodation in the surroundings of Lecce, a resort on the nearby beaches, or a cosy guest house in the centre, check out the deals available on Booking.com.
Beautiful old city with amazing architecture. We were there for two days which was enough time to do a guided walk and also to do some sightseeing. Not much to do there apart from walking around and taking photos and eating but plenty of nice places to sit for a drink and food and prices were fairly cheap.

Lecce is a must visit location.
Lecce is a must visit location. Old town is amazing, and very lively unlike other old towns we had visited in Puglia. Maybe because it is a big city. Loads to see. And plenty of food options from local nonna to international standard fares. Get Baroque'd out. Unbelievable. And the papier mache sculptures are truly unbelievable. We were amazed to discover what we thought to be carved timber ceiling is actually papier mache at one of the churches. Visit one of the papier mache artisan shops for a close up look. Seeing the sunset from the Duomo's belltower is another sight worth doing. We enjoyed simply wandering around the old town both during the day as well as after sunset. We felt safe. Also try to get on a vineyard wine tour. Not well advertised but one of the operators we contacted said he was fully booked all the way til September, and we were there in May. Sample good locally produced wine and olive oil. We discovered how good their rosatos can be, using Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes. Lecce is also a good base to explore the Salento peninsula with it's amazing coastline, sea caves, stony beaches, and multiple towns which are short drives away.

Lecce is a lovely city to wander around and explore at leisure. It has an incredible collection of baroque churches and for €12 you can visit the most spectacular ones, especially the Basilica of Santa Croce which has an incredible facade. And you won’t go hungry as there are countless bars and restaurants.

We wholeheartedly recommend to take a guided tour to properly experience the historic city. Also, it is worth trying less touristy restaurants such as Da Mario for an authentic Leccesian cuisine, and ask for the homemade Amaro with the desert.

We stayed three nights, but I wish we'd stayed in Lecce longer. It's a gorgeous walkable city, very wheelchair friendly, unlike many towns in Europe and has amazing baroque architecture. I recommend the Museo Faggiano (although not wheelchair accessible) for those interested in history and Roman Empire artefacts.

Lecce’s old city center has a unique southern Italian charm.
Lecce’s old city center has a unique southern Italian charm. The churches and museums are easy to find on a self guided walking tour. Beware, the streets are narrow and vehicles weave around and through the pedestrians. The Museo Archeologico Faggiano is a recent Lecce underground discovery not to be missed, a highlight of our visit. A walk through the free castle entry reveals an excavated ancient sight. On the other side of the walk through is a flea market of vendors offering discounted clothing, linens, jewelry and plants. On our walk we also found a paper mache art studio with glass wall and you can observe the artist applying paste and paper to a statue in progress. The gelato at the Porta Rudiae is divine. The city is beautifully lighted for a night stroll.
Our experience in Lecce would not have been the same had we not stayed in Donna Teresa. Location of the hotel was wonderful. It was close to restaurants, bars, train station and two different free parking areas by walk. The room was so clean and exactly the same as pictures; cozy, well equipped, new. Our host was amazing, lovely and welcoming. We took recommendations for beaches and nice restaurants including wine tips! We tried different local pastries each day during breakfast. Highly recommended!
Alessio is a great host, attended all our requests and it was easy to communicate before and during our stay. This is my second stay at his place in Lecce and I would definitely come back. The apartment is close to Lecce old town, there is a parking option which is convenient if you need a car to travel around Puglia. There is a great pasticceria and gelateria closeby as well as supermarkets if you need to shop. The apartment has a kitchen in case you feel like staying in. Overall great.
The help and welcome we received from both Nabil and Laura was outstanding. They were always willing to help with restaurant bookings, beach recommendations and general information on the area. Laura's breakfasts are outstanding in the beautiful location of the rooftop terrace overlooking Lecce. Our room was spotless with a comfy bed and a small balcony overlooking the pretty streets of the old town. Look no further if you are visiting the wonderful city of Lecce this hotel is a gem!!
The location of this boutique hotel was perfect. A few minutes' walk to the old town and quiet at night.
The accommodation was spacious, with an outdoor balcony. The room, like the rest of the property, was very tastefully decorated.
Staff were attentive and helpful.
Breakfast was well apportioned with a variety of options and we had the choice of the dining area or a leafy, green courtyard.
We were on the second floor, and really appreciated the elevator!
We have to start the evaluation with the breakfast. We have not stayed anywhere in Italy, where we got freshly baked homemade cakes every morning (baked by the host) along with other goodies. The other half of our host couple made sure that we could park in front of the hotel entrance when we arrived. The hotel itself was a short walk from the old town. We rented 3 rooms, they were all clean, spacious with very comfortable beds. The Internet worked well.
The hotel is perfectly located in the city of Lecce. The staff was welcoming and did everything they could to make you feel at home. The room was gorgeous and spacious, and the rooftop terrace was a perfect place to relax & read a book.
A big thank you to the staff for going above and beyond our expectations, from reception staff to super friendly housekeeping staff.
Would 100% recommend this hotel - we’ll definitely come back when we are in Puglia!
Check-in is really easy and seamless. Our room, adjacent area is stylish, spacious and tidy. The terrace overlooking picturesque inner garden is the first class. Moreover. due to absence of any other quests, it was the feeling that we had booked the entire hotel.
The location is also convenient - Lecce railway station is in 5 minutes walk and downtown in 10 minutes respectively. Wifi signal is super strong as well as the connection speed is high.
It's a five star hotel worthy of this rating. Beautiful place, great rooms, the staff always helpful, good breakfast. The swimming pool is big enough and the inner courtroom is both a nice view (specially if you have rooms with a view to it) and a good place to sit by one of the lateral corridors. Outside the Chiostro there is not much to see, but just go the the center of Lecce and there you have many attractions.
This hotel will provide you with the best experience in Lecce whether it is the location which is very central and walking distance to all your main destinations in Lecce, or the staff who treat you like you’re family. All topped with the beautiful design of the hotel from the lobby to the rooms and the pool upstairs at the rooftop. Honestly this hotel made my stay in Lecce very exceptional I highly recommend it
This property was magnificent hidden behind large doors on the edge of the old town of Lecce. The garden was beautiful, so peaceful and our elegant room was tastefully furnished and immaculate. Fresh pastries left outside our door every morning for breakfast were a luxury! The fridge was well stocked too. Luisa was professional and very helpful arranging airport transfers and train journeys. Thank you again!
Very nice boutique hotel,, at a perfect location, in the heart of the old city of Lecce. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to vist Lecce. The rooms were nicely decorated and the cleaning service was impeccable. Great breakfast, beyond our expectations, very polite and attentive staff, happy to assist us, especially Tanya who served us breakfast in the morning and made us start our day with joy.
The breakfast each morning was wonderful. Fresh fruit , cheeses and pastries with coffee tea water and juices served outside on the rooftop terrace with panoramic views was a wonderful way to start or days on Lecce. We really liked this small boutique hotel and highly recommend it if you are planning a visit. The location was perfect for visiting restaurants and historic buildings.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel ideally located in the centre of Lecce old town. The rooms were very comfortable and the whole hotel was beautifully designed. But the most outstanding thing about this hotel is the staff - they could not have been more lovely and helpful. Thank you!
The breakfast was very good. very nice selection and service. the location of the hotel is excellent with back door to the old town. Enjoyed our stay very much, a small boutique hotel. The staff was very good, specially Frederica who met us and explained everything upon our arrival.
This is a very well located hotel in Lecce. It is a very short walk into the centre of the old town. It has a huge garden which is very special and tranquil in the middle of the city. The breakfast is simple but nice and you can have it outside your room which is very pleasant.
Great location in old town Lecce with tons of surrounding restaurants. The apartment is very modern and recently renovated with elevator (a rarity) and secure and clean. Large patio. The owner gave us a list of some recommended restaurants and they were phenomenal!
The hotel is in a fantastic spot. So close to the old town (it actually backs onto the old town) and super convenient with parking. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. It was a lovely stay.
