We really liked this cosy little hotel. It's excellent for what it is as a 3 star hotel, the staff is friendly and welcoming and you feel like you get to know them a little bit. Cleanliness is superp and the breakfast is solid. If you are staying for more than two nights I would opt for a room with a balcony and sea view. It's a nice option to rent bikes from the hotel and cycle for example to Levanto, the next village east of Bonassola via old traintunnel - it's easy and only takes 10-15 min. The tunnel opens up on the way with beautiful panoramic views to the sea.

The hosts, who live in a separate part of the same building, were simply amazing! Giovanni, the owner, came to check on us every day to ensure we had everything for an enjoyable stay. He and his wife were even kind enough to go to a pharmacy in town for us and get us a certain medicine that we needed but ran out of. We rented the smaller of the two units, and the view of the lagoon below from the terrace was just breathtaking! The trip to and from the beach was a fun 15 minute exercise that kept us in shape. We will definitely return again and again!
