The property is beautifully maintained, very clean and creatively designed. Everything is very close to the pool- eating area, seating area, there’s a lot of space and yet it’s cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Christina, the waitress is the best ambassador for the Villa and gave us lots of good tips on visiting different areas. The restaurant had a very gourmet menu and the food was excellent. The balcony overlooking the bay was ideal. The restaurant staff were very accommodating when we wanted to bring our food to the room.

In my opinion La Specia is just another Italian city (which doesn't mean it's bad, just nothing special). But it's a gate to wonderful Cinque Terre, which is definitely worth visiting (using a train from La Specia is highly recommended).
Outside of summer months which we presume would be very busy, there is plenty of room to move around all the areas where there are shops and sights. Plenty of eating and drinking options in the town. Nice churches and Fruit & vegetable market area. Port is not that far from the train station(15-20mins walk). There is a bric a brac market in the town on Friday mornings.
Had no idea La Spezia was as big as it is. It's a nice green city with lots of pedestrian streets. There are many bars and restaurants in the town. We enjoyed having our hotel there and then travelling to the five towns every day. The train station was close and the trains came often! Very easy to get around. I recommend buying train tickets online so that you don't have to wait in the long lines that form in the morning at the station. We also enjoyed exploring Porto Venere; if you have an extra day I recommend it!
La Spezia Is a pretty and clean city. It is a convenient place to stay if you want to tour Cinque Terre without climbing hundreds of steps. If you are older or have a mobility issue I would avoid doing a tour of Cinque Terre by train. Instead take the ferry from La Spezia.
La Spezia is a beautiful city to visit, but this can be done in half a day, for the city center and maybe go to the beach a bit. Most people come here to be able to visit Cinque Terre, which is amazing. Rent a red Vespa, it's a must, and go visit PortoVenere which is more beautiful that one of the Cinque Terre (won't say which one, you will discover for yourself)
Loved LA spezia, real city, loads of restaurants and shops easy access to Cinque terre by train and Lerici by bus. Most of all I found it a genuine and friendly town, not as pretty as the villages but far more choice in the evenings and a great base.
La Spezia
We were shocked at how nice these rooms were! My two kids and I were traveling by train and used this hotel as a base from which to explore cinque terre. The rooms were spotless, modern, and comfortable and the owner was wonderful at communicating via WhatsApp. The hotel was truly only about 3 minutes from the train station and about the same distance from a tourist street with many restaurants. Despite that, we did not have any train noise or noise from restaurants, and I am a very light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again!
Location of the Hotel is perfect. With the Hotel lift you are immediately in the city center and you need about 10minutes by walk to reach Central train station in La Spezia. You have a lot of parking places in front of the Hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, hotel staff is friendly and kind. Only beds for my oppinion are (for my taste) a little bit too soft for having a good sleep but that depends also on taste of every guest. Maybe also shower cabins should be a little bit bigger. Breakfast is really good without complaints.
La Spezia
Staff was great qnd friendly. Good to connect on what's app for any assistance because the location on Google maps points to the station itself. The hotel location is about 100m away, when you exit the station, turn left and walk straight. This hotel is in a building that houses other hotel names as well. You need to climb some stairs to reach a 'locked doorway' that leads into the corridor of rooms The hotel offers a breakfast voucher that comprises a coffee and 1pc of croissant or pastry at opposite cafe
La Spezia
Very clean, lots of space, nice modern design with high ceiling, big terrace with view of sea/ La Spezia city/ hills. Perfect for travelers with car, we always find free parking lot in front of the house. Down the hill of the house is directly a bus stop to portovenere, very convenient. Alberto was very helpful, patient, gave me lots of advice for visiting around and about parking, which is usually never easy in Italy for foreigners ;)
La Spezia
The place is very charming and the staff was very welcoming. Rooms cleaningness is 5 stars and decoration is perfect. The pictures speak by themself. Breakfast was really special. Lots of restaurants around, shopping and hiking. We drove in from Rome and it was easy drive and hotel has a parking garage as well lots of other parking around. I can't imagine any other choice when visiting Cinque Terre. Great location and stay.
La Spezia
The room (private room in a shared apt, not a B&B, not an hotel room) has a great location: about 15 minute-walk from the train station and in a walking range of all the restaurants and bars. The WiFi is good and the bathroom is well-equipped (as big as the room, more or less). Even though we were disappointed, in general, we chose this place because it was the most affordable place in La Spezia for our dates.
La Spezia
The apartment is light and airy, has calming decor, a great location and is quiet. Downstairs out the front door there are sidewalk cafes, and gelato around the corner. The market is just a few blocks away and the fresh produce is amazing. Just a few blocks in the other direction is the park and the waterfront. This apartment completely surpassed a hotel I stayed at in La Spezia in size, decor and price.
Location was less than 5 mins walk from la spezia central station. It was a easy walk down the street. Owners of the place were friendly and communicated well, we arrived earlier than check-in time and the room was prepared and ready for us. Instructions were also simple and easy to follow. Room was really clean and as per photos. Will come back if I were to visit Italy again!
- Location. Just in front of the La Spezia central railway station. This is where you want to be, if your aim is to visit the Five Lands. They are just a few minutes away by train. - Location (again). Beneath the hotel there are groceries and a chinese restaurant. Very convenient for food and the shopping. - WI-FI working well. - Mini fridge available in the room.

La Spezia
It's close to train station, about 5 minutes walking. The host is very helpful. He contacted me via WhatsApp and met me at the door. Told me all about the nearby sites. Hotel is very nice and clean also
Excellent staff who were always friendly and went out of their way… literally to help make our trip a success! maybe a three star hotel based on technicalities, but a five star staff!
La Spezia
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the ferry. Romina is very nice and gave us some great recommendations for visiting cinque terre from La Spezia.
