Set in Riomaggiore, Cinqueterre Residence features a panoramic terrace and a private external hot tub. Free WiFi is included throughout the property. I really loved this accomodation, clean room, nice terrace, a cold bottle of prosecco to welcome us, which we finished in the nice whirlpool. The people are so friendly. Overall, super nice!! Defenetly recommended!!
Hotel Locanda Del Sole is in the main street of Riomaggiore, one of the Cinque Terre towns. It offers free WiFi and is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our stay was excellent. Enrico was very helpful about exploring the area and hiking. Nice sized bedroom and bathroom with outside terrace. Not a bad walk to the waterfront. Steep hill, but the climb was easy if you take your time. Great breakfast (all cold) and always fresh. Great base for exploring nearby towns.”
Set in Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre National Park, Hotel Villa Argentina is a 10-minute walk away from Riomaggiore Train Station. We stayed in the apartment in a separate building, big balcony with amazing view. the apartment was spacious and clean.
Hotel La Zorza is centrally located, conveniently close to Riomaggiore Station and the sea. The building dates back to the 15th century and was the home of a local sailor. Great balcony view, huge space and super quite bedroom with working A/C! Staff was excellent!
Offering garden views and a garden, Casa Lorenza has accommodations ideally set in Riomaggiore, within a short distance of Riomaggiore Beach. Perfect stay in Riomaggiore! Lorenza and her husband were so helpful from the beginning of our stay and until the very last second of it! I definitely recommend the casa Lorenza....the room had all the things we needed....and on top it had one of the best views u can get in Riomaggiore! Don’t think twice....reserve in casa Lorenza and u won’t regret it i guarantee! Thanks Lorenza and Franco for all ur help!! ( they also helped us with a parking that’s way cheaper than the regular one....and also they helped us by taking up our luggages by car the day we left.....thus evading us the worst part of any riomaggiore stay....the going up part with the luggages when leaving!) 10/10....thanks again

Locanda Ca’ dei Duxi is set in the center of Cinque Terre’s first village in a characteristic 15th-century building. Walk to the sea in 5 minutes from here. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel is comfortable. It is easy to access.

Great base camp for taking the train to the other towns in Cinque Terre and easy to travel to and from by train. Enjoyed the sea town atmosphere and it was a good time of year to go - not as many tourists in October.
Loved the dinner at The Lantern, right downstairs from the apartment. We took a train to Monterosso and hiked to Vernazza. We had the best lunch in 16 days in Italy in Vernazza. We took the train back to Riomaggiore to nap after our two hour hike. Then the train to Matarona for dinner, which was nice. Could have used one more day to see Corniglia. And next time I'd stay at La Spezia in a hotel with a lift for luggage, then pack a small backpack and take the train to the different towns to hike.
Need a car to stay there, then you'll get around quickly to all Cinque Terre. Be prepared to walk steps. Great location and value. Location is a quarter mile from Il Sole a 180 Gradi Bar, which has a to die for view of Riomaggiore the ocean and entire Cinque Terre. This is where we ended up our day to watch the sunset.
I loved the scenery and the charm of this hillside village that goes down to the sea. You must be prepared to do a lot of walking up and down hills and steps. It is easy to get from Riomaggiore to other Cinque Terre villages by train, ferry or hiking. Beautiful scenery all around. We went in October. Lots of tourists everywhere.
Town is absolutely awesome. People are nice and the throngs of tourists are not as bad in this town as in Montorolla or others. Easy to get a meal and easy to buy supplies. Great for just wandering as well.
Italian Riviera at its finest. Great views from our hotel (Biao di Rio) classic little walking town, train convenient to all other 4 towns if you dont mind a walk up/down a sizable hill. Chock-full of history, beauty, and stunning views. My favorite stop on our whirlwind trip!
This hotel and the staff were nothing short of amazing!! From the time we arrived until we left we felt so comfortable and really enjoyed the stay. I accidentally dropped a wine bottle on my foot while try to pack it as a gift to get it home safely. The staff was amazing, they came quickly and also called a taxi as I ended up needing to go to the hospital. They reassured me we would be in good hands, and continued to check in on me after we arrived back later that evening. should we return to Italy again we would stay here again!!
The views! This place is on all the postcard shots of Riomaggiore! Adjoining the cliff face, the Mediterranean is truly on your doorstop! 2 balconies to soak it all up from. Tastefully decorated. Best place we stay in during out 2 weeks in Italy. Kids literally swam in the rockpool below and we could watch them from above. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast on the balconies in postcard perfect conditions. The host is absolutely lovely and very thoughtful in her communication.
Fantastic room in a great location. The facilities were clean and felt like a 5 star hotel. Big shower and a/c worked perfectly to cool us down after climbing the steep hills outside. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and even met us at the train station to take the luggage off our hands - awesome surprise given the number of hills and steps in Riomaggiore. Definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed in Italy spanning multiple trips.
It’s a perfect little appartement. We really appreciated the flexibility of the self check-in It’s a perfect location in Riomagiorre. It’s only a short walk from the train station, beach and Main Street. The host, Simone, was welcoming and gave us a few suggestions of activities and restaurant. He also provided many toiletries, water, towels, beach towels and a book guide for Cinque terre. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it!
The location is great. Do know that there is a lot of stairs to get to this location. Not for strollers. We had 2 luggage with 2 small kids 3.5 & 1.5 and it was fine. Definitely a great place to stay in Cinque Terre. Barbara was very helpful and gave us lots of info. There was a parking place reserved for us at a separate charge. They have a great terrace with a beautiful view.
There was nothing to not like. Lorenzo is a fabulous host from the pick up when we arrived to the drop off when we left. The room was immaculate and in a perfect location to tour Cinque Terre. You wake up to pastries and focaccia delivered to your room. Her advice on where to go and how to tour was spot on. I highly recommend this property.
Paolo!!! What an excellent owner and host! He not only met us at the edge of town and walked us into our room but he also explained the history of Cinque Terre and gave us a local perspective. He recommended a hiking route and and dinner locations. Excellent all the way around! Grazie, Paolo!
The location, the staff, the cleanliness and the facilities were excellent! The beds are so comfy and it is a perfect quiet space to enjoy a well deserved rest after a big day of hiking and exploring the gorgeous Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre.
