Set in Riomaggiore, Cinqueterre Residence features a panoramic terrace and a private external hot tub. Free WiFi is included throughout the property. Location was excellent. The staff extremely helpful. Especially Davide. Room very comfortable
Hotel Locanda Del Sole is in the main street of Riomaggiore, one of the Cinque Terre towns. It offers free WiFi and is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station. Owner Enrico is wonderfully welcoming and has excellent advice on what to do and see and where to eat. Great sense of humour too! Really enjoyed our stay.
Hotel Due Gemelli is set among pines and vineyards, on a hill overlooking Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre. Stunning views! Friendly , helpful staff.
Set in Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre National Park, Hotel Villa Argentina is a 10-minute walk away from Riomaggiore Train Station. Rooms come with a satellite flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.... Spacious clean and great location
Locanda Ca’ dei Duxi is set in the center of Cinque Terre’s first village in a characteristic 15th-century building. Walk to the sea in 5 minutes from here. The staff was very pleasant and easily accesible. The included breakfast was a perfect was to start the day. The room was perfect.
Hotel La Zorza is centrally located, conveniently close to Riomaggiore Station and the sea. The building dates back to the 15th century and was the home of a local sailor. The view of our jr suite was surreal. We had sunsets and ocean views. The breakfast was great and the cappuccinos were amazing. Staff was very few and helpful.

Love The Cinque Terre; although it’s been overrun by all the Rick Steve’s followers. His once popular theme of Backdoor Travels have unfortunately turned the small quaint villages into crowded tourist Mecca’s. Great photography moments are still to be found!
What a quaint little town! Make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes...this town is all very steep hills and narrow stairs with no cars allowed ....which makes it absolutely quaint and unique. Ate at Dau Cila, a Michelin guide restaurant. Amazing view! Wonderful food! Our second day threatened rain so they had the to shut down all the stores and 99% of the restaurants. It ended up not raining so it was a little disappointing that we didn’t get to visit the shops...but understandable after the 2011 disaster. So we had a nice rest day just enjoying the view from our patio. Loved Riomaggiore! Would definitely come back again.
Authentic village feel to the place. Main road up the hill is quite steep but easily walked. If the area is under a weather alert, ( eg forecast of very heavy rain ) be prepared for most shops/ eateries and tourist activities to be closed. Try the calamari chips.
Riomaggiore was beautiful. We spent time on the beach to relax, went hiking to the castle and church, and dined. The trail walk to Moreno was closed but we did take the trail from Monteroso to Vernazzi...rigorous but we would do it again. All 5 towns are charming and beautiful. We enjoyed eating at Billy trattoria in Moreno.
Cute, quite, clean town with delicious meals. I think it was best decision to stay there because train was always there. Soem trains on the weekend didn’t stop in other villages! Only annoying part were flies! Everywhere!
Personally, I think 2 nights is about right to visit Cinque Terre. We took the day ferry to visit all the other towns. Once you see one, really, seeing the others is not necessary. We did really enjoy exploring Portovenere, with the castle/old churches and had a nice lunch. Riomaggiore was a good launching point and one of the busier of the towns (if you want that). FYI, be very careful riding the trains—-pick pockets ARE real. Our friend with us was pickpocketed (took his wallet from DEEP in his front pocket.

Everything is perfect about this property! Great location, tastefully decorated, a restocked mini fridge each day (free!), and incredible attention and care from the hosts. Roberto went well beyond expectations by meeting us at the train station late in the evening, arranging reservations for dinners, offering advice for places to see or do, etc. He was always just a call or text away! We loved our time there and will enthusiastically recommend Stelio to our friends visiting Cinque Terre!

Do yourself a favour and book at least 2-3 nights! We only had one night and instantly regretted it.. Absolutely beautiful setting, amazing hosts who went way above and beyond for us, and overall an incredible stay. Riomaggiore is probably the quietest (and possibly most charming) of the towns so if you’re up for a peaceful, relaxing time in the Cinque Terre this is type perfect place.

Staying in Riomaggiore was absolutely perfect. It’s such a beautiful apartment with lovely views of the Main Street in town. Close to the train station and an easy walk. Clean, well maintained and absolutely beautiful apartment. Can be noisy at night, but closing the windows completely sorted that! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to the Cinque Terre!

Paolo!!! What an excellent owner and host! He not only met us at the edge of town and walked us into our room but he also explained the history of Cinque Terre and gave us a local perspective. He recommended a hiking route and and dinner locations. Excellent all the way around! Grazie, Paolo!

Lovely room and fantastic bathroom worth noting it is separate on some rooms. Lovely greeting from William and he had lots of helpful information. We had a wonderful last night in Riomaggiore after completing the Cinque Terre trail.

Food is amazing. We were traveling around Italy and we've had the best margherita pizza and bruschetta in this hotel. Room was huge and clean. Staff was very helpful.

What an amazing place. The 9.2 rating doesn't do justice to this place. All 10's across the board for me. Michaela proves the rest of Italy that it is possible to run a clean, sound proofed logement in the middle of the historic centre. The location is perfect. The room is spacious, clean. Has heating. Airco and tv. A kettle to boil water and make coffee. Mini fridge and double glazed windows blocking all the noise from outside. Absolutely perfect place, I'd stay here again and recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Riomaggiore.

Very friendly/helpful staff met us at our car to help us get into secure parking. It’s at the top of the town so easy to get to if driving. Also a little quieter than all the way down in the village. Best shower I’ve had in Italy.

The service was great. Colette met us at the train station and carried our luggages back to the hotel. She also walked us to the train station when we were leaving as well. She had great recommendations.
