Amazing location right in the centre of riomagiorre Old Town overlooking the main tourist attraction. (yellow building in the most famous photo above). Staff were absolutely incredible - Paolo spent a lot of time meeting us showing us the car park and helping us to the accommodations whilst giving us ideas and information about the beautiful town and area.
Alla Marina Affittacamere is set in a mid-13th-century building renovated in 2011 and located right by the little harbor in Riomaggiore, one of the Cinque Terre towns.

The location of the accommodation was good, it was not too far from the beach or the restaurants. We also had some seaview.
Hotel Locanda Del Sole is in the main street of Riomaggiore, one of the Cinque Terre towns. It offers free WiFi and is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station.
Lovely place lovely and kind hosts 🌼 room overlooking a gorgeous view
Locanda Ca’ dei Duxi is set in the center of Cinque Terre’s first village in a characteristic 15th-century building. Walk to the sea in 5 minutes from here.
The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful!
Hotel La Zorza is centrally located, conveniently close to Riomaggiore Station and the sea. The building dates back to the 15th century and was the home of a local sailor.
It was clean and equippted with everything we needed.
One of the most romantic places we have ever been to.

Recommend Kepris Pizza fab pizza and lovely staff, Gormet in Piazza for coffee and Brittas for juices and awesome avocado on toast. Resturants Osteria La Torpedine - superb tuna dish.
You need to be pretty fit for walking around if your based there lots of steps - but awesome little back streets to get lost in. Spectacular sunsets.
Coop supermarket great for getting food to prepare yourself and saves you money. Foccaccia cheaper here as well.

We visited all 5 towns, found Riomaggiorre to be the best one to stay in, it had it all, wide variety of resteraunts, lively, it had a secluded beach, Vernazza was too busy and did not like its beach, and Monterosso was beautiful, but a bit to busy for us as we did not travel with kids

Riomaggiore was generally quieter than the other 4 villages. There were lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. We particularly loved ‘il maggiore’ because the staff were friendly and the food was great.
The view of the buildings surrounding the beach is iconic. The water is difficult to access however and there are only rocks to lie on. Plenty of opportunities for water activities if weather allows. Very friendly!

Riomaggiore is definitely worth a visit as the scenery and restaurants are great. However, I think that 2 days and a single night would have been sufficient to experience it as I was looking for a less touristy vibe and it was the peak of tourist season.

It was very easy to access by train from the Wright station at Florence, you need to be sure you are at the right one, and a 2 to 3 nights stay is recommended by us for a time to relax and also get in some visits to the other towns! Going in the warmer months may be more crowded, but the water is a wonderful temperature and worth every minute

Of the five villages Riomaggiore has been left in a sad state with the harbor/marina area looking like it hasn't seen a paint brush or any maintenance in a very long time. Poor upkeep for a village which relies on tourism as a major revenue source!
After booking the accommodation I read some of the reviews and thought about cancelling. I am so happy that I didn’t. This accomodation is an authentic Cinque Terre home. It’s in a great location. Riomaggiore is a small fishing village surrounded by national park with beautiful hiking trails. Some people may think the accommodation is outdated but in my opinion your getting a real stay in a Cinque Terre home compared to a basic tourist trap. Great value for money.
The person that welcomed us was really kind. The room was perfect for our needs, really clean and with a great view. We felt like staying in Riomaggiore over a bigger town like La Spezia was really part of the experience in Cinque Terre. We loved the proximity of the room with the restaurants, the marina and the train station.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They sat down and discussed the best places to eat, where to visit and how to plan our days to see as much a possible without missing the best spots. It was very valuable to understand the best way to visit all 5 villages in Cinque Terre!
Great location with a view over the town, within walking distance but still away from the masses! Davide and his family are very caring, looking after one and fullfilling every possible wish! Organic breakfast, with local ingredients.
Best stay in Cinque Terre !!!
Amazing host- special mention to Sandro and Stefano for helping us with luggage and showing us around. The property is at an excellent location with the best sunset views in cinque Terre.
