The location was good - it was an easy walk into the town center. Breakfast prepared by the host was nice but was an extra charge. The room was clean. Two chairs on the balcony were nice for sitting at any time of day; there is a lovely view of the mountains and Nuoro to the west. There was safe public parking nearby. The host was accommodating.

There is so much to see in the area and the hiking is particularly good. The scenery in this part of Sardinia is breath taking if you like outdoors and being close to nature this is the area to go to, and if beaches are more your thing they have that as well so all bases are pretty much covered although you need a car to get around the distances are not that great.MartinUnited Kingdom

We are already thinking of wanting to come back to Sardinia and stay there. Maybe to celebrate my 40th bday!!!

It is however only a short walk to a really good local restaurant. The young woman who prepared breakfast for us was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't get our television to work, which she willingly resolved. Breakfast was quite good: salami, cheese, rolls, a few sweet items, fresh fruit, cornflakes and yogurt.

We used it as base camp for a few treks in the area of Oliena and Dorgali. For us, it was a price saver compared to areas closer to the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped. I communicated with the host by booking first, by whatsapp later. All was very good.
