It was nice to know upon arrival and gaining entry to the resort you were checked in. I booked 3 nights and was not disappointed. If I could have stayed for 2 more nights, it would have great. Check out the Piano Bar.
Although a Solo Traveller, I felt safe. All staff members whom I came into contact with conceigre, front desk, tour desk, waiting staff and housekeeping were very helpful.
Definately would stay again as you are literally 5 mins from the airport which was of no disturbance.

Great place but be prepared to pay to use the beaches.
Great place but be prepared to pay to use the beaches. If you are going to stay for the whole day then you will get your money's worth, if only for a couple of hours it is not worth it. The beaches all appear to be owned by the resorts so you need a day pass to enter onto them.
Montego Bay is amazing though, you can watch the aeroplanes landing and the landing lights start in the Ocean, great to watch.

If your a new travellers to Mo'Bay, the Deja Resort is in the heart of the hip strip; from here nothing is too far, popular beach is across the road, for those travelling long haul the transfer once you arrive is a 15min short taxi ride. Other resturants if desired are all within walking distance, even a trip in to Mo'Bay is within walking distance; I'm a Brit so walking everywhere is pretty much standard but a short cab ride is available if you so desire.

Margeritaville and Aquasol are closed due to a wave that destroyed them. No go karts. Heard pelican cove was good but since we cooked we didn’t go out at night. We didn’t feel comfortable doing that anyway. All I he tourist shops sell the same stuff. The shops that say groceries have very little. Go to progressive foods and stock up on water, dairy, etc. there was no lettuce so I made greek style salads with peppers and tomatoes. Toasted westerns. Pasta and rice.
We spent most days at doctors cave which is perfect and lunch good too. $50 per day for one umbrella and two chairs. We had lunch on the beach every day. It was great.
Tried harmony beach twice it was good. But I would not wander further than that. We took local red plate taxis for 200 JM or $2 US. The KFC sells the most amount of chicken daily it’s a lineup and drive through around the corner, you won’t get any. Just get the pizza next door and give the leftover to whoever asks. This is across from harmony beach. 🏖️ I like that they search all our bags for glass and knives and hang on to them. Good! We felt safe there too.
Doctors cave was the best. People everywhere were super friendly.
Next time, I’ll go back to Negril. It’s more zen there.
But I’d stay a night or two in Montego Bay. And hang out during the day. Not the night.

Unless your all-inclusive resort has a lot of options to keep you entertained, nice beach access, and good food, you better find a different part of the country for your stay. Mo Bay is a run-down town, not fun walking or strolling the city's pot hole ridden streets. It has an uneasy feeling of " I made a wrong choice" place. You'll be constantly bothered by people trying to sell you weed. offer you a "boy for the night," taxi services, or beg for money. Avoid!

I was only there one night. I didn't get to see much.
I was only there one night. I didn't get to see much. The arrival area of the airport was not very nice. The restroom was terrible. The departure part of the airport was nice but the food was very expensive.
The price attracted me first of course. The location was the second thing. It is like a large house in a high end neighborhood divided up into small mini apartments. The gates are locked at night. We only needed to get closer to the Montego Bay Airport for an early flight out the next day. By getting this room it allowed us to enjoy our final day at our all inclusive resort until 4:00. Also it made the very long trip from the resort to the airport stress free since we were not pressed for time.
Very friendly host with a lot of good tips. The room is inside the house of the host and small but has everything you need (AC, fridge, microwave, towels). It has a very nice garden with access to the river where you can sit and chill. There is a supermarket (10-15 min walk) away.
They also offer transportation to and from the airport for a reasonable price.
We would recommend this room and come again for our stay in Montego Bay
The property was just minutes from the airport. From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. The drinks were delicious as well as the food. We enjoyed going to the beach every day, especially the little island. We really enjoyed the love entertainment every day. Honestly, we can’t wait to come back! A wonderful value and everything truly is all inclusive unless you wanted to go to one of the special restaurants.
The breakfast was good. They actually include lunch, dinner, and all-you-can-drink alcohol and beverages but nobody told me, I only was informed of breakfast. The beach entrance encroaches another resort hotel, within 60 feet of Deja Resort.
The Montego Bay beach was the best in Jamaica, the water was clear like crystal and the waves were even and soft. It was beautiful.
An absolute gem in the middle of Montego Bay off the Hip Strip. If you want to avoid the raft of all inclusive hotels and want a quaint personalised experience this is the place for you. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive and warm, every morning you are treated to an authentic Jamaican breakfast overlooking the stunning bay.
The food was mostly excellent and the staff exceptional in every way and at all levels. Entertainment was tasteful and not noisy as at other all inclusives. The hotel seemed well run and anticipated every possible need of guests from candy to beach chairs and towels. In a class of its own!
Amazing hostel in Montego bay! Run by a wonderful owner and a big friendly dog this place had great dorms, amazing bathrooms and a huge communal kitchen plus a big garden area and tv room. I loved my stay here and it's close to the beaches!
I like ntn bout this place this isnt an all inclusive no buffet worst hotel ever they post all these nice tings n ntn is here cwme to breakfast frm 7.30 after 8 now had to order wat i want only ting dem got good is ackee n saltfish
Hotel was right on the beach..very clean and safe. Gated with security. Staff are all nice. Bus picks you up for excursions that you book through the hotel. I got all inclusive and food was good buffet style and unlimited drinks.
It's not an all inclusive hotel if you go to the beach and can't have your drinks so ur still spending, the pool area is so small. The night entertainment was not very good. It needs more.
Great location so it needs more
Pools and facilities were very nice. Many of the staff greeted us with pleasant smiles and "good morning!". Liked that they had free transfer to the other Sandals resort at Montego Bay as well as airport pickup/drop off.
All inclusive hotel at a reasonable cost.
Good location around 5 minute drive from Montego Bay airport.
Great view of planes landing and taking off at the beach.
Reasonable breakfast and dinner options.
The location was nice, the pool and room were great. Everything was very clean, the porch is lovely. The view is nice as well. It is quieter than the rest of montego bay which is a huge plus.
Everything! Clean, Modern, Quiet, owner thought of every convenience with this unit.
Beautiful pool and walk to waters edge.
Right next to Montego Bay Yacht club for a 5 star dinner.
The hosts were warm and friendly and we felt pampered during our stay. I would definitely recommend Takuma boutique hotel and I will use it again if I am staying in Montego Bay.
