Great City. Need time to find out the best places to visit. Hard to know what was on in terms of culture and theatre. So worthwhile doing some research before you go. Make sure you go up town as well as down town - you see /experience very different sides of the city

Kingston is a developing city with huge potential. The economic growth will benefit the popular. I was impressed with the commitment of the Jamaican government to improve the infrastructure on roads and heritage buildings across the parishes.

The surroundings is the best..the tranquillity the nature of the birds the flowers at the front of property and the pleasant conversation from the establishment owner. Our Orchid Bungalow was ok..but needed updating..ie the sofa and bathroom area could do with a little makeover..but all in all lovely.

We didnt stay long in Kingston, we were heading on a long road trip. Altamont Court is not far from the airport so we rested the night. We also stayed the night before we traveled back home to be close to the hotel as our flight was early in the morning. The room was comfortable on both occasions and met our expectations. The food exceeds our expectations, it was well prepared and delicious. The staff was also welcoming.

I regarded my visit as a recovery from the stress of losing my sister and attending her funeral. Four nights in the hotel was perfect to regain some peace of mind before returning home to England. I was treated with respect and all the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and although housekeeping was curtailed because of COVID restrictions, I was wanting for nothing. I will have no hesitation staying at Terra Nova Hotel in the future when I hope it will be under happier circumstances.
It was such a joy and pleasure to meet Lorna at her estate.
The architecture and in-house design was incredible and so well chosen, you could tell it was built with love and care. A breathtaking view during the day and at night only rivaled by her hospitality and charming presence.
We only stayed for a night but her personality , kind words and advice stuck with us for our remaining 20 days. If I ever go back to Kingston , her place is the first I'll go to for a much longer stay.
Thank you Lorna !
