The buzz of the city was exciting. People could be seen going about their daily lives and were always ready to give directions and information with a big smile.🙂 Emancipation Park though small was a treat with it's colorful plants and soft paddings for walking before the sun comes up. It's clean and peaceful no crowds or loud noise. Excellent location for a quiet walk or just to take in the scenery and relax.
AC hotel is an overpriced business hotel. It has great staff and clean environment. The food is expensive for absolutely no reason because it is definitely not the best. There is no bell person which means you have to roll your own suitcases to your room. There is no microwave on any of the floors only one in the lobby.
10/10 definitely a great place to stay, if you want something near the airport and you are just catching a transit flight, its half an hour from airport and really well kept and clean place, and nearby allot of locations.
Kingston was a nice place to stay. I stayed in in Upper Kingston 10 (Off Upper Waterloo) in a Condo in a very nice community. There was a Starbucks and Mega Mart (like a mini BJ’s) in walking distance and a few local eats. We walked to Devon House a place known for their ice cream and park grounds which was delicious. It was about a mile walk but the weather was not too hot, just up Hope Road. A few more streets and you could get to Bob Marley museum or Half A Tree Road where things are busy. There are small malls and outside vendors and other big businesses. Getting a taxi or a bus going Downtown Kingston or too Annotto Bay and other nearby areas is easy. Downtown Kingston is where the good food and lower prices are but where you should be more careful of your surroundings and property. But it’s just like anywhere else you travel or live there are places you have to be more cautious of but it’s still a nice place to see. In all I think Kingston was great! I felt safe. I would stay there again.
Exceptional place with quality service. The host is very mannerable & hospitable. Doesn't hesitate to answer any inquiries you're having & suggest recommendations. I really liked that there's a bar on the property as well, managed by the host. Very convenient for refreshments and a few snacks when ready. There's also a shop at the end of the staircase on the property. Based on the food I've tried offered by Kingsworth, it definitely helps to capture the aurora of the property. Even though the journey to the location can be a bit weary, I can confidently say it was worth the hassle. You won't want to go back to your reality after experience this place. I will be back before the year ends for sure!
Avoid certain areas. If you have a guide, even better. Don’t walk around at night, Especially alone. Be sure to visit heroes park and the obvious things like the bob Marley and Peter tosh museums plus national stadiums.
Kingston
The place was well kept, very clean and quiet. Very good value for money. The place is also central with many restaurants, banks , etc within close driving distance. I never felt unsafe while staying at this property. The owners and house keeper Ms. Lorna was very friendly and were very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay , especially those persons who want great value for money.
Kingston
The property was Nice for a studio apartment it was cozy I wish it was a one bedroom apartment it would’ve made it more suitable but for the last minute acceptance that was great my flight got canceled and the owner excepted me at the last moment which was awesome. But the location was very convenient to every single attraction it wasn’t far away from Devon House or my favorite supermarket Brooklyn supermarket or Fantana. The host was every nice 🥰
Kingston
We really like the facilities for our retreat. We made use of the environment and had alot of fun. We love the rooms as most had AC.We love how friendly the house owner was as we felt like how.We felt safe even when we left the gate open. Based on the money we paid we truly got our money worth for our retreat.I hope to come there again next year ❤
The LC is a wonderful place to stay with its tennis courts, swimming pool , weight room and a great restaurant. The thing i love the most is, because of the amount of land it sits on, you feel you like you are away from New Kingston, yet everything in New Kingston is no more than a 5 to 10 minute walk. it is also right next to Emancipation Park
Kingston
We loved the hospitality of the host, the tranquil ambiance of the whole estate including many tropical plants and amazing views of the mountains and Kingston, and the excellent breakfasts served with a variety of tropical fruits. Looking forward to our next visit already!
A little gem tucked away in the heart of New Kingston. The staff was very helpful, young and cheerful: from the security guards to the chef! The gungo peas soup is on point! Parking is free and safe. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean and the bed comfortable.
However, credit, where credit is due Nordica, a waitress at the hotel's restaurant, is a credit to the hotel. She was welcoming, remembered our names every morning and made us feel like valued guests.
