Beach was amazing, loved the towels/pillows/chairs on the beach and drink service. Snorkeling was amazing and only had to walk from our chairs into the water! Food was great and service was fantastic! Three restaurants were good but the Jamaican themed one was a little too spicy for us. Pool was nice.

Montego Bay is a very tourist town. there are plenty of hotels to fit whatever budget you are going for and lts of Ocean views. There are fancy restaurants and local authentic jamaican spots as well. The downtown area is local made but if you really want to see Jamaica visit there to see all the authentic vendors and maybe eat at the street vendors and get your hair done or buy cheaper merchandise for everything there. They have a casino and game room in center of the hip street with surrounded shops bars and restaurants. So a very nice place with great views and food as well as parasailing and boat rides or whatever you like to do in the ocean...

It was nice to know upon arrival and gaining entry to the resort you were checked in. I booked 3 nights and was not disappointed. If I could have stayed for 2 more nights, it would have great. Check out the Piano Bar.
Although a Solo Traveller, I felt safe. All staff members whom I came into contact with conceigre, front desk, tour desk, waiting staff and housekeeping were very helpful.
Definately would stay again as you are literally 5 mins from the airport which was of no disturbance.

Great place but be prepared to pay to use the beaches.
Great place but be prepared to pay to use the beaches. If you are going to stay for the whole day then you will get your money's worth, if only for a couple of hours it is not worth it. The beaches all appear to be owned by the resorts so you need a day pass to enter onto them.
Montego Bay is amazing though, you can watch the aeroplanes landing and the landing lights start in the Ocean, great to watch.

If your a new travellers to Mo'Bay, the Deja Resort is in the heart of the hip strip; from here nothing is too far, popular beach is across the road, for those travelling long haul the transfer once you arrive is a 15min short taxi ride. Other resturants if desired are all within walking distance, even a trip in to Mo'Bay is within walking distance; I'm a Brit so walking everywhere is pretty much standard but a short cab ride is available if you so desire.

Margeritaville and Aquasol are closed due to a wave that destroyed them. No go karts. Heard pelican cove was good but since we cooked we didn’t go out at night. We didn’t feel comfortable doing that anyway. All I he tourist shops sell the same stuff. The shops that say groceries have very little. Go to progressive foods and stock up on water, dairy, etc. there was no lettuce so I made greek style salads with peppers and tomatoes. Toasted westerns. Pasta and rice.
We spent most days at doctors cave which is perfect and lunch good too. $50 per day for one umbrella and two chairs. We had lunch on the beach every day. It was great.
Tried harmony beach twice it was good. But I would not wander further than that. We took local red plate taxis for 200 JM or $2 US. The KFC sells the most amount of chicken daily it’s a lineup and drive through around the corner, you won’t get any. Just get the pizza next door and give the leftover to whoever asks. This is across from harmony beach. 🏖️ I like that they search all our bags for glass and knives and hang on to them. Good! We felt safe there too.
Doctors cave was the best. People everywhere were super friendly.
Next time, I’ll go back to Negril. It’s more zen there.
But I’d stay a night or two in Montego Bay. And hang out during the day. Not the night.

Unless your all-inclusive resort has a lot of options to...
Unless your all-inclusive resort has a lot of options to keep you entertained, nice beach access, and good food, you better find a different part of the country for your stay. Mo Bay is a run-down town, not fun walking or strolling the city's pot hole ridden streets. It has an uneasy feeling of " I made a wrong choice" place. You'll be constantly bothered by people trying to sell you weed. offer you a "boy for the night," taxi services, or beg for money. Avoid!
The beach doctors cave club is in front of hotel, they give you the access , you pay for umbrella or chair. The food service all inclusive is ok nothing extraordinary. The hotel was in process of remodeling. Rooms were clean , no mosquitos. The beach was awesome especially in a sunny day. Turquoise clear water. Nice warm water ocean. I was very happy about this. I focus on this. Good value. Next door resort much higher prices. I recommend this basic resort all inclusive. Sep 2023
For an all inclusive the food was really good. Breakfast is served in the buffet restaurant with a lot of options but it is also very crowded. We would usually just go to the coffee shop and take a sandwich to avoid the crowds. The coffee shop is really great by the way! Also we liked that there are always jamaican food options! The room was really nice but for that kind of money I would have expected more (for example comfy furniture on the balcony). The waterpark is really great!
we didn’t make it past the gate, it looked to be okay but the property manager ( if that was who she was) made me very uncomfortable. when we arrived we waited for about an hour to be let in the gate and downtown Montego Bay is no place for nice family without a man present. Once the person arrived they wanted our id’s and cash for the room and told they had a plumbing leak. Thankfully the people noticed us waiting and stayed with us to redirect us to a secure hotel.
The hotel was great especially for the price. The location was perfect dead smack in hip strip wheee everything is. The views where great and they had alit of free activities. Great stay for the Duffey I 100% recommend. I must say if you are going out in the town make sure you have a guide or know what your doing because Montego Bay isn’t the safest area and the taxies will over charge the hell outa you.
The Property itself was amazing had everything we needed from a blender, washing machine, great tv and was the best alternative for staying at a hotel when you visit Montego Bay. It was also very very clean. Sandra and Kenroy were amazing hosts! Friendly more than accommodating and never made you feel like a burden for asking questions. I would recommend these hosts to all travelers !
The private beach cove is just lovely, and Caramel who hosts entertainment was good as were the party at the beach at night, lady at the tour desk was very friendly and helpful about hiring a car , the hotel is in a good location for travelling to Negril and Ochos Rios and if you are feeling adventurous go into Montego bay town, you must also go to Margaretaville to go down the slide
Beautiful location! Once you turn off the main road and enter the property, you are totally secluded and in your own world by the ocean.
Really friendly, lovely, and helpful staff at the hotel.
The accommodations on the beach were great. Lots of chairs in the sun AND shade, and nice cabanas that are available to reserve in advance.
An absolute gem in the middle of Montego Bay off the Hip Strip. If you want to avoid the raft of all inclusive hotels and want a quaint personalised experience this is the place for you. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive and warm, every morning you are treated to an authentic Jamaican breakfast overlooking the stunning bay.
We spent our honeymoon at Déja Resort and had an amazing time, all inclusive, plus access to the beach across the road. The property is well situated right on the hip strip and is close to many amenities. Caters for all, has jacuzzi, bar, gym, etc. We'd stay there again. Food was excellent, love the vibes of the place
The apartment was a good size.
Bedroom had a very firm yet comfortable bed and a/c worked great.
View from balcony was wonderful.
Refresh of towels and linen half way through visit was nice.
Experiencing Jamaica outside of an all inclusive for the first time was a delightful time.
The location was nice, the pool and room were great. Everything was very clean, the porch is lovely. The view is nice as well. It is quieter than the rest of montego bay which is a huge plus.
The property is exceptionally beautiful and clean! It provides the true experience of an All Inclusive Hotel. The staff were amazing and the cleanliness of the property again is next to none!
Everything! Clean, Modern, Quiet, owner thought of every convenience with this unit.
Beautiful pool and walk to waters edge.
Right next to Montego Bay Yacht club for a 5 star dinner.
