The surroundings is the best..the tranquillity the nature of the birds the flowers at the front of property and the pleasant conversation from the establishment owner. Our Orchid Bungalow was ok..but needed updating..ie the sofa and bathroom area could do with a little makeover..but all in all lovely.

We didnt stay long in Kingston, we were heading on a long road trip. Altamont Court is not far from the airport so we rested the night. We also stayed the night before we traveled back home to be close to the hotel as our flight was early in the morning. The room was comfortable on both occasions and met our expectations. The food exceeds our expectations, it was well prepared and delicious. The staff was also welcoming.

Great place to visit .
Great place to visit . Plenty of food of all kinds and great ambience. Traffic is not nice at all and people honk horns all day for no reason which is road rage capital to me but I find it amusing . I love going to Devon house which is a park area that has restaurants and places to eat desserts . People go there for the ice cream and atmosphere to take kids and have picnics and I love the steak house on the Verenda. Sunday is great for family day as plenty of vendors are there. Also there is a rive area with restaurants vendors and hotels nearby which is nice. They have lots of fun activities that come like Carnival which is a beautiful parade which costumes of great design feathers etc that is amazing.. people can be a hit or miss. I can not say every1 is nice but I can say you will enjoy yourself and want to come back.

Bob Marley museum, Devon House and Half Way Tree, were all very interesting and enjoyable.
Sea Deck restaurant food was disgusting, rice and peas was too spicy, and rubbery chicken was drowned by sauce that was way too sweet/ excessive. Waitress was disinterested with customers dissatisfaction, so maybe best avoid. Ambience was decent though, and as Sea Deck was not busy we should have demanded more edible meals.
Burger King was good.
Dice roll with restaurant food, maybe better served to just get Street food

Kingston is very nice.
Kingston is very nice. It’s safe if you’re familiar with your environment and the places you go. I am usually in New Kingston. And this was my first experience staying in Downtown Kingston and it is safe! We walked around the downtown area by ourselves and we were safe. We were 3 women. Kingston is City and it’s no different than any other city in the world.

Kingston is a place for dancing and food.
Kingston is a place for dancing and food. There isn't much amusement as in bowling arcade places or things of that sort but there is lots of life. The people can be a hit or a miss just like everywhere but you will have a great time full of music throughout the town as well as Jamaican culture with vendors and beautiful water everywhere. Food is always great and just beautiful weather is always a place to go.
The staff members provided us good customer service, and were very professional and friendly. The hotel itself is modern and chic. I loved the display of art and the overall ambiance. The rooftop is a cool spot to brag a bite and vibe with friends and family. The room was clean, there was always hot water, and good working AC of course ! The location of the R Hotel is also a very central area to just about everything in uptown Kingston! Great, great, great, location near everything! I would definitely stay here again!
The location was perfect, close to New Kingston restaurants , fast food, clubs, banks etc. Centrally located to everything in Kingston.
I felt safe at all times as Building has 24 hours manned security, gated, card controlled access to lobby, elevators and digital entrance to rooms. Easy in, Easy out.
The room was comfortable, clean and was set up like a 1 bedroom apartment.
The host was 100% communicative and provided all the passwords , digital keys before I got to the facility.
I will stay again.
Fabulous host in a fantastic location. A large country house overlooking Kingston from the aptly Ned Skyline ridge. Lorna is a superb cook serving the highest quality Jamaican dishes with exotic fruits and, of course, the world's best coffee from just up the Blue Mountains. She is also a rich source of balanced information that you will rarely glean while staying in a hotel or Air B&B .
You will need a car and be a competent, confident driver to get up the steep hills but it is genuinely worth it.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff are super friendly and helpful :)
The location is perfect to bob marley museum,Devon’s house, coronation market and Ibo spice portal and port Royal/fort Charles:)
We took the cab to coronation market and after walked all the way back to our B&B :)
We met friendly local people all along the way :)
Starbucks and juicy Pattie’s around the corner(awesome).
Thanks for an unbelievable experience in your country/city,Kingston rocks!
We really like the facilities for our retreat. We made use of the environment and had alot of fun.
We love the rooms as most had AC.We love how friendly the house owner was as we felt like how.We felt safe even when we left the gate open.
Based on the money we paid we truly got our money worth for our retreat.I hope to come there again next year ❤
I like the staff they were very attentive and polite . Place was clean , housekeeping services excellent . Breakfast was poor . Chef made an omelette that was think as a cake , it was raw and smell of egg was overpowering . The Callaloo was uncooked and without flavour . French toast was very hard and it was more like fried bread .
Good location situated between emancipation park, bob Marley museum and Devon house.
It was much bigger than I expected but that was fine.
Large rooms, decent breakfast choices and good service
Lovely roof top bar and nice pool with cabanas
We had dinner one night but just sandwiches and they were good
Wide choice of cocktails
I had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities, such as the pool and the backyard area, added to the relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway
The cafe at Ragamuffin was fantastic with the best breakfast we had in Jamaica. The staff were extremely helpful, fun and friendly. We also liked the location as it was close to Devon House and the Bob Marley Museum. Our mattresses were very comfortable.
☆Staff was very responsive.
☆Hotel food was DELICIOUS.
☆Overall, room was refreshingly clean.
☆Daily housekeeping was much appreciated, including towel changes.
☆Appreciated having small refrigerator and coffe/tea making small appliances in room.
The host did her best to ensure a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.. Convenient parking, secured location, and just a few blocks away from New Kingston Hub.. I definitely would recommend.
The ROK is a very pleasant jewel for Kingston . I finally there is a quality 5 Star hotel on the waterfront which I do believe will spark economic development for a very run down area
Prefect location. On-site behind gate parking with lot attendant. Clean rooms with ac. Near Bob Marley Museum and Devon House. Nice bars/restaurants around the corner.
