I recently stayed for one night at the Kempinski Hotel in Amman and was thoroughly impressed. The lobby’s design creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff’s hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The room layout was both clean and nicely arranged, contributing to a comfortable stay.
The hotel’s location is excellent, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy the traditional local ambiance. I would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Dorra, Ms. Bayan, and Mr. Abualwafa at the front desk for their outstanding support and helpfulness. Despite a minor misunderstanding with the payment, the entire staff handled the situation with professionalism and care.
Thank you for your excellent communication and service. I look forward to staying at Kempinski Amman again.

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.
Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.
The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.
Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.
Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.

Amman is ok for business trips, but if you need site seeing you got to go out of Amman. I haven't not experience the night life though to be fair, but I heard it is entertaining depends on your interests if you know what I mean.

A bustling capital with some interesting roads.
A bustling capital with some interesting roads. Drivers like to honk their horn most of the time! I guess because of the congested traffic state.
Old downtown is very nice and offer a great reflection of the Jordanian culture and personality.

Lack of recognizable food chains posed challenging food-searches but overall situation can be manageable. Traffic can be considered an issue and driving in Amman might be tricky (stick to uber / careem apps).
Excellent stay at this hotel - perfect way to start my visit to Jordan. The suites are so comfortable with everything you need. Staff were so helpful with tips for the city and maps etc. Breakfast is great and the dinner I had in the hotel also really good quality. It’s a great distance from Rainbow St and downtown. Rooftop is a beautiful oasis and great to get a view of Amman. The adjoining bar was also great with great drinks and a cool place to see the sunset over Amman.
The Castle Star Hotel has great location in Old city of Amman, very close to shops and landmarks. The room was very clean and provide comfort and great view. The staff is very friendly and provide great hospitality. Also very helpful advising us how to get around. There is a beautiful view from the terrace-my favourite spot to feel the pace of the city. The hotel offers also good breakfast in traditional Jordanian style. The fridge in the room is a big advantage .
We stayed at the Amman Pasha hotel for three nights, one night in the beginning of our trip and two nights at the end of our trip. Here is the list of pros and cons on staying at this hotel.
Pros
1. The staff is super helpful. Louie help me arrange transportation for my whole trip.
2. Location. It was walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see.
3. Pricing. This was a budget hotel, so the cost for the location was a value.
It’s a pleasant stay in Amman but quite far from downtown yet it’s located in quite neighborhood. The rooms are clean but our room smelled cigarette at the time we checked in. The receptionist also gave my parent’s room an upgrade which is truly appreciated. The chef during breakfast was kind and accommodating. We also had a chance to meet the GM of hotel which is a friend of our driver/guide in Jordan. Relatively good place to stay in Amman.
We wanted to book a hotel near downtown, upon checking reviews in Booking went blindly and booked the hotel, it exceeded our expectations, situated very near to the downtown and famous restaurant Hashems, Thair was a wonderful host, and ensured our stay was very comfortable, we ended up chatting for hours talking about Jordan and Amman. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Thank you Thair for being such a wonderful host!
Spacious and clean room. Special thanks to Mr. Iskander very helpful, accommodating, and kind person. He upgraded us to a room with breakfast (our original booking was without breakfast) and he allowed us to keep the room longer for free as we had a late-night flight. Free access to the Regency Hotel with rooftop pool, DJ, indoor pool, and spectacular views of Amman. Best breakfast and dinner buffet also. Highly recommended.
Excellent Stay at MAMAYA Hotel in Downtown Amman, Jordan
I had an exceptional experience at MAMAYA Hotel in downtown Amman. The hostel was clean, safe, and conveniently located near transportation options and downtown. The owners were friendly their kids are lovely. provided valuable recommendations for exploring the city. I highly recommend MAMAYA Hostel for its cleanliness, convenient location, and welcoming atmosphere."
The hotel is located right in the city center being a couple of hundred meters far from the Roman theatre. The area is lovely as you can feel the Amman life including restaurants, historical sites, and above all the most famous Al-Hashemi street which has a huge market that offers the best experience to the tourists. Above all, the breakfast offered is the best segment of the stay in my opinion. Lovely staff!
Very helpful staff. They even bought bus tickets from Petra to Amman for us, because being outside Jordan it wasn't possible (we tried to buy them before our travel to Jordan). We also left some luggage for one week, which we didn't want to carry, and it was waiting for us, when we turned back one week later to the hotel.
Location was ideal. Close to all museums, ruins and downtown.
The property is outstanding - value for money is excellent as the facilities are extraordinary.
There is a spa, which is included under the standard room rate (except for massage, obviously).
Breakfast is superb - the best one I had in Jordan by far (much more premium vs. other hotels such as Landmark which is also 5 stars).
The staff are friendly and look after guests.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Their access to drivers in particular were an asset, and wherever you needed to go in the small country of Jordan you could've realistically gone to. The location in Weibdeh is alright - you need to walk up a lot of hills to get to the neighborhood's centre - but it's super accessible to downtown Amman.
These was our favorite hotel in Jordan. Amazing value for money. Clean, comfortable, good maintained, super nice staff. We liked that it’s outside the old city, we rented a car, so were flexible with transportation. However, even if you are going to use taxis, which are affordable in Amman, this hotel is located in a good, safe and quite neighborhood.
I had a very good room, enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a made-to-order omelet every morning. The staff was very attentive to my needs. When I left for a four day trip, they allowed me to store my luggage and did not charge me for the nights I wasn’t there. When I return to Jordan, I want to stay at the Sadeen Amman Hotel.
We chose this property so that we could drive close to Amman without dealing with the city traffic. Ubers into Amman are very cheap and the drive from the airport to the hotel was not very busy. The hotel is nice and taxi drivers know it well, great place to stay near downtown Amman
Arabesque hotel is one of the best hotels very clean and near everything you need the stuff are the best especially jack whom helped with many things I can't begin with and the best recommendations in amman if you need to go anywhere in amman just ask jack ;)
Very beautiful hotel with breath taking view for the city amman the service was excellent 5 stars plus with amazing stuff especialy an employe name obai give us anice room according to our order i recommended alot rotana hotel and i will come again for sure
I was hosted by Marwan (Manager of the hotel). He offered me pickup from airport for a small fee, even at the mid-night.
He helped me with sightseeing in Amman n other parts of Jordan.
The staff in the hotel were very responsive and polite.
Among the best hotels I stayed at in Amman. Clean comfortable rooms with reasonable price. But what I liked the most is the welcoming friendly and helpful attitude of front desk people.
