The city is awesome, surrounded by nature and the weather...
The city is awesome, surrounded by nature and the weather was great although the last day was starting to become super hot. The sense of hospitality is non-existent and for non-arabic speakers it is super challenging.
The only beach club worth going is Berenice as it is cheap and has a natural beach (although it's sea beach and not ocean one). But do not expect good service as it does not exist in the city.
If you are going to dive or other outdoor activity, I recommend but to enjoy sunny days by the beach, look for another place to go.
Food is also good but again, they have no sense of hospitality and if you don't speak Arabic it gets worse.

AQABA ....
AQABA ....
City full of life and color at the Red Sea, with traditional food & music, good people, very lively public beach!
Markets, terraces, shops, warm and welcoming people, as in all of Jordan, by the way.
Wonderful market of spices and teas!
You can serve the meal, with confidence, on all terraces! Excellent traditional food!
You have to visit Aqaba to feel everything!
Ayla neighborhood, wonderful!
Berenice Club Beach an extraordinary experience at the beach, with an excellent vacation vibe, very good music, club equipped with everything necessary, wonderful employees from the bar and entertainment!
Amazing beach!
Thank you, Aqaba, for all you offer!

Aqaba is just another urban city.
Aqaba is just another urban city. A partying, high on night-life kind of place.
There are several food options and is generally easy on the pocket.
The Aqaba castle is okay, the museum is good, and is interesting only if you have a curiosity towards T.E. Lawrence and the story of the family. Which I think you should. You can easily spend an hour in that museum.
The public beach is an interesting place to visit to see the city's people, and not the beach as such.
I would say a day and a night and a checkout the next day should more than suffice.

I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla!
I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla! The food at Ali’s Central Restaurant was excellent too.
I visited the bazar / souq, and I don’t recommend that as it was so busy and nothing really there except cheap Chinese products
Leaving Aqaba and dealing with customs was a nightmare!

Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea,...
Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea, beaches, weather, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums etc... People are very hospitable and friendly. Great landscape, palms, mountains, city tours and boat tours available all the time, this is apart from all the other water activities you can enjoy. You will also find a variety of shops with different items and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend to visit Aqaba at least once. Yet, if you have visited it once, you will visit again and again.
We were just there and are already planning for our next trip soon.
Definitely, we will visit again....
I recommend this hotel for many reasons:
firstly good zone around all shopping and the beach by walking
2-clean rooms with modern form with room service
and silent room
3- good men on reception fadi and omar(Jordanian )
the all of time take me as friend and purpose all dealing for small trips in city with economic prices
and they suggest for me all restaurant with good price with nice quality
4- there is Egyptian one is named Ahmad work in breakfast room
he only interest to see you get out from breakfast with smile and full abdomen
I book with this hotel and then I ask I called them I make a phone call with the managers the number they bought it on the website and then after that when I reach to the managers of this hotel, I asked him to have a swimming pool, he said no. We don't have I said alright thank you so much, I wanna translate it. I try to translate it I cannot after 3 days and no, sometimes I translate it and after 3 days. Someone tried to charge my card for 93. Jordan and dinners cutting off from my card.
The front desk service was amazing. Ahmed and Yusef were so helpful. You felt taken care of immediately upon arrival. The concierge was helpful. Every staff person was over the top friendly and accommodating. The wait staff near at the bar left his phone with the flash light on so that we could see better. We stayed at many 5 star hotels all over Jordan and this hotel had bar far the best staff and facility.
Really downtown, like the name of the hotel. The cleanest hotel we have been to in Jordan, with very comfortable beds. Our bathroom was tiny, but we were offered by the very polite staff, to use another one, or change rooms if we needed to. Unfortunately we didn't have time to taste the breakfast, so no opinion on that, but I m confident it would be as good as the rest of the experience.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, giving a warm welcome to Jordan, the hotel is new and not big, giving it a boutique vibe, also has a gym and pool and close to the city center (5mins walk from the big flag), it is indeed a very convenient and affordable option.
View from the breakfast is spectacular, there is a 360 degree view to all the city including the beach and mountains.
Mrs Dina and Mr Ahmad from the reception were great, they upgraded us for beautiful sea view big family rooms. They were always very helpful and smile.
We enjoyed a lot our stay, great pools, good restaurant. Even they organised a birthday cake to my daughter. Thanks a lot for Grand Tala Bay Hotel Team!!!!
We liked nearly everything about al Manara, from the deco to the exceptional service of the staff. It was very clean and a comfortable stay, we will for sure stay here again should we return to Aqaba. It is by far the best hotel in Jordan and is genuinely a 5 star hotel.
The hotel was beautiful. It was busy but did not feel crowded and we always found a spot on the beach. Everyone was very attentive, especially Justin who served us on the rooftop bar, very knowledgeable of the local area and of Jordan in general. He was very helpful.
very nice hotel, clean and always smell nice, very calm and clean rooms with comfortable beds excellent and friendly staff, excellent breakfast almost 5 star level, the location is excellent, in the heart of Aqaba hotels area and close to everything you need
I like the staff of the hotel. They are all very nice and cool. From the pick-up driver until the staff are all awesome. They accomodate my visitor friends in the room so I get to meet all my friends in Jordan. The room is huge and clean.
Really new hotel with perfect facilities, spacious rooms.
The hotel really excelled in amenities compared to the other 4 star hotels in Jordan we stayed in.
The breakfast was pretty good as well.
Overall great value for money.
Staff were very friendly even though they were super busy with so many guests since it was Eid. I liked that you could access the Tala Bay Beach and facilities in general. Electric charger in the parking was a plus.
Nice location for tala bay (but far from Aqaba). Comparable to many similar hotels in Spain/Greece. Private beach and pool complex a few minutes walk away, along with a marina with bars/shops/boat trips
Great hotel - perfect to chill and relax, super comfy rooms with awesome Snorkeling spot on the private beach
Tala bay location is the best place to stay in Aqaba
I would recommend and come again !
The breakfast is amazing
Ask the waiters for the egg benedict. The security at the hotel is very strict. The hotel facilities are good, as expected from a 5 star hotel.
Shams at the reception was amazing, he ended up upgrading us into a suite with sea view for no EXTRA CHARGE.
Everything was 5 stars and we had a great experience
