Bear in mind that this is a local Japanese style onsen resort? Like it mainly caters to locals on day trips or maybe a 2 night stay. It was undergoing some upgrading while I was there so it was not probably the best time to visit. The onsens were nice. For the price you are paying is definitely value for money but this is a no frills onsen resort so manage expectations

There are beautiful ancient temples, wineries with different plans for tasting, onsen, and lovely countryside to hike or walk. There was a lot of fruit and other local specialties - I recommend the Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory tour (free) and shops. The lunch restaurant there is excellent.
Breakfast at the location was fantastic - Very well done and a definite highlight of the property. The staff did an excellent job ensuring a wide variety of food was available to meet all breakfast desires. We stayed multiple nights and the dinner menu noticeably changed and was different from the other guests that were on their first night's meal. We also had a chance to sample the local specialty of the Kofu region - Houtou udon - without leaving the hotel.
The property is very quiet and clean. The staff is very nice. I travel with my family for school break trip. I would recommend for family & friend also for business trip. This place also has hot spring which is very good. If I have a chance to come around this town, I will absolutely stay at this hotel.
The room was very fun and very nice! As a lady I loved how many ammenities there were FOR women. I didnt use all of them (like the lingerie) but the massage chari was a great touch. Never had been in a love hotel before, and the 2000 yen diffrerence for the deluxe room was highly worth it!
Hotel Eldia is adults only. It is very spacious, hygienic, with lots of facilities.
But, and there is a large but: most vistors come for a few ours or a romantic rendez vous.
It is a love hotel. We didn”t realise that when we booked it, but it was a good room.
Location Location Location. The hotel is next to the Train Station, local shopping stores, restaurants and park which was super convenient to get up and just go and do sight seeing in addition it was nice to see a peak of Mt. Fuji in the background.
The place was a perfect little traditional hotel which exceeded our expectation. Although in a lively city it was a quiet place to rest and to enjoy the comfort of a traditional hotel. This will be my place to be when in Kofu.
A love hotel. Value for money for those staying as tourists. The room is big with lots of free amenities including a bubble bath, sofa and a VOD subscription to watch films on. Free breakfast.
- Very new facilities
- Extremely clean rooms
- Large-size bathroom, especially considering Japanese standard hotel sizes
- Great room for 3 people
- Free parking lot
