The host's warm hospitality was one of the highlights of my stay. They went out of their way to ensure my comfort and were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made me feel at home.
In today's connected world, a reliable Wi-Fi connection is essential, and Hotel Kiyara delivered on this front. I had no issues staying connected, which was crucial for both work and leisure.
Now, let's talk about the food – it was simply fantastic! The hotel's restaurant served mouthwatering dishes that showcased the rich flavors of Punjabi cuisine. From traditional curries to delectable desserts, every meal was a delight.
In conclusion, Hotel Kiyara is a top-notch choice for your stay in Amritsar. Its unbeatable location, kind host, excellent Wi-Fi, and delicious food make it a standout option. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable experience near the Golden Temple.

EVERYTHING - This is not just a stay, it's an experience never to be forgotten.
Embarking on the Eco Village journey felt like entering a tranquil time capsule. Rocky Mountain views painted a picturesque backdrop as we traversed fields on the road to nostalgia. Mr. Kasun, the maestro of operations, warmly greeted us during check-in, creating a symphony of hospitality that lingered throughout our stay. The top-floor wood cabin surprised us with its elegant decor, and my wife and Mr. Kasun had conspired to orchestrate a delightful birthday cake.
As we roamed the property, we discovered a magical world filled with unexpected mango offerings and nostalgic swings and hammocks. The day was punctuated by the melody of freshly brewed milk tea, leading us to an eagerly awaited Bullock Cart ride down memory lanes. The evening sky painted itself in hues of enchantment as we indulged in a dinner masterpiece of Sri Lankan delights, served in a traditional setting.
As the moon cast its cozy spell, we surrendered to the embrace of plush beds and a gentle night breeze, foreshadowing the enchanting overture of morning tea awaiting us. In the garden, a breakfast symphony unfolded, starring a tantalizing ensemble of traditional rice and curry—a culinary masterpiece that gracefully ushered in the perfect dawn.
Exploring the city and reluctantly packing our bags, bidding goodbyes became a bittersweet melody. In conclusion, the Eco Village is a portal to serenity and tradition, offering a calm haven with a touch of magic. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting abode to anyone seeking a timeless tale of relaxation.
Kudos to Mr. Kasun & the team! I'm already anticipating the next chapter in this unforgettable journey.

All the sites were wonderful - Sigiriya (the rock), Dambulla Caves (Amazing - especially cave #2), Polonnaruwa (Ancient City), Elephant Safari saw 40 to 50 elephants - Mothers and their children on a ridge at the very end of the safari! It was a great day to be able to see that many in the game reserve all together. I would spend minimum 3 but really 4 nights up here as the travel day really doesn't count because you aren't running out to see anything until the next day, so this way you have 3 full days to see all the sites and it isn't rushed. Also, you go out early in the morning as it gets too bloody hot in the middle of the day.

Dambulla is a great place to explore, especially if you are a nature lover. Lots of greenery is preserved amidst the cave temples. Frescos at the Dambulla cave temple are amazingly beautiful. Inside the caves are cold though the outside temperature is steaming hot in the summer.
Sigiriya rock is another attraction near Dambulla. It will take a half a day tour to climb up and down but if you want to explore more, the area surrounding the Sigiriya rock garden is vast and can wonder around the rock garden and historical ruins for hours. Good for hikers.
Ibbankatuwa ancient grave yard, Pidurangala (A rock with nice view at the top, situated parallel to Sigiriya Rock are some of other nearby attractions.

First of all we would like to thank the owner and the management for giving us the opportunity to stay at this beautiful resort.
Colin and Ajit did a wonderful job of looking after us
They are hard working, sincere and committed in their work.
Few things that need to be sorted out were the overgrown creeper in the front which is preventing sunlight from entering the front of the house.
Lighting in the room and bathroom need to be brighter. A stronger Wi-Fi would be welcome
Overall an enjoyable stay
Hope to visit again
Regards
Upon arriving I found out that I had forgotten the passports and traveling documents at the hotel in Colombo. Very stupid but immediately Athula, the owner, offered his assistance and next day all passports arrived by courier. Althula also brought us to the cave rock. We used Dambulla to visit Sigiriya and Anuradhapura which was very good from a traveling point of view. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the location as it is situated in a quiet area. So we had a very good stay also because of the kindness of Athula and his family.
Hotel Aswadduma and had a fantastic experience. This eco-friendly hotel boasts a diverse array of wild animals in its garden, providing a unique and immersive connection with nature. The scenic surroundings enhance the overall atmosphere, creating a serene environment. The rooms are not only spacious but also exceptionally comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The staff's readiness to assist at any time adds to the positive impression, making Hotel Aswadduma an ideal choice for those seeking a nature-centric getaway.
Everything. Beautifull paintings on the walls, nice dining area and great staircase. We were welcomed with delicious mango lassi drink and water. The owners are amazing, helpfull and can help with arrange anything. Food available in the hotel was absolutely amazing. We tried noodles, rice, curry, breakfast. Everything was tasty. Portions enermous. Clean and fresh bed sheets and bathroom! Big plus! Hard to find a clean bathroom in Sri Lanka....
Fridge in our room, kettle was a big advantage.
We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious.
The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean.
We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.
Honestly, one of the best places we've been staying in Sri Lanka since a month. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable, it does have everything you need, even more. The lady and her family is so courteous, kind and available. She cooks so good, me and my partner we loved the food. The area is outside Dambulla and it's really peaceful. We surely come back on the way down. For the price that you pay, you get more then what you expect.
Mr Laxmann (Manager) is a kind helpful person who managed everything on time and make us comfortable and is also fluent in English . I was with my wife for a trip to Sigriya and choose to stay at Dambulla esp near to main bus stop and in Centre so we choose Milano grand hotel
And it was a good choice
Property was neat and clean with big rooms bathroom and lobby area, breakfast was really good
We recommend you to stay here
We had an absolute brilliant stay! The room and surrounding is great, location to Dambulla caves are walking distance (5 min away). The host family is just amazing! Really feels like they give more that 100% to the place - so many great details in the room and the place. We also had an amazing rice and curry for dinner and also got it vegan which was awesome!
Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka!
Staying a couple of nights in Evergreen Hotel
( in fact, Sri Lanka's house😍).
Houst family were more bound my imagination nice. Totally, we felt at home. They are among those people that I really love to see again❤️
Strongly recommend staying in this house if you like to explore Sri Lankan's lifestyle, as well as have great access to several most attractive locations in this beautiful country🤩
The hotel is located in the heart of Dambulla city conveniently close to the Kurunegala-Dambulla road. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The food was tasty and severed hot and the portions were good and also reasonably priced. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Although it is in the heart of the city very relaxed setup. Overall, its great value for money.
Everything is so nice. The hot water washes away all the exhaustion. They are so friendly to us, which makes us feel at home. Ac and the fan work perfectly well, I had the best sleep in this hotel during my journey. And they also provide free accommodation for drivers, quite convenient for the drivers. I would like to recommend every one to this hotel
everything was perfect. The food is very tasty. I cannot express in words the mystery of Sri Lankan rice and curry. The pool and surroundings are very peaceful and very beautiful. The service of the staff is very high. The room is also very tidy. If I ever come back to Sri Lanka, I will definitely come back to this hotel.highly recommend.
We stayed here for a few days. The owner was nice and helpful, prepared tasty local dishes for us. Also helped us to organize Tuk tuk for a Sygiria trip and to Dambulla. They have a wonderful garden with local trees like (mango, king coconut, avocado, jackfruit, etc). We really liked there, it felt like home:)
It was very spacious and comfortable. A bit far from the main attractions but totally worth it. Very good breakfast, also possibility for sri lankan breakfast. The tuktuk service was priced well and the staff was very good. Super good and cheap restaurant nearby for amazing dahl (home kitchen dambulla).
The host picked us up at the bus station (300 LKR)
He suggested a great sunset place and booked us a great tuktuk driver for our 2 days in Dambulla. He gave us an umbrella and provided a knife and cutting board to prepare our fruits.
Breakfast was ok.
The bedsheets, bathroom and room were clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location in Dambulla and an easy commute to Sigiriya via tuk tuk. Host was incredibly helpful, insightful and friendly. Organised our transfer to the hotel from Colombo. Great breakfast to begin the day. Great value for money.
Beautiful atmosphere. We felt like another home stay. Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the couples. They were extremely friendly. Will visit again.
the location and facilities are amazing, very well-maintained hotel in the middle of the nature.
