Amazing open air bathroom from the deluxe bungalow. The resort is nice and very peaceful, each bungalow has a private sitting area in front that is very nice. The staff is super friendly and the main eating covered terrace is very nice. The food was very good but we would have appreciated some SriLankan food instead of Italian. Super easy to arrange Kite Surfing lessons. We loved the morning yoga lessons, the quiet and the access to massages.

It was absolutely peaceful. Which is exactly what I was looking for. The very best best thing is the staff. They absolutely spoiled me with the most delicious Sri Lankan food I have ever had. They really wanted to take care of me like I was their favorite child. The pool is gorgeous, and again so serene. I loved the fact that their two dogs were very well cared for and completely healthy. Honestly, this is not a common thing.

The location was superb. The building faced a sandy, private beach and there were beach chairs/ small huts and hammocks outside to relax. The rooms were spacious with all the necessary amenities. The staff were also very friendly.

We were very disappointed with the dulux room which we were initially allocated. The were 4 beds in a double room. It was very dirty, rusted chairs, stained table, badly stained curtains and dirty bathroom. Pictures were sent to the owner and he upgraded us the next day to another building which were much better with a cost of £30 extra daily fro the 2 rooms we had booked. The place itself is in the middle of nowhere and is accessed by a dirt and very bouncy road. No snorkelling or swimming could be enjoyed in the muddy‘lagoon’

Beautiful beaches, almost empty because it is not the season. We spent only two days but to explore all at least 3 four days are necessary. As for food not much options were available and did not see any well functioning restaurants in town. The resorts have their own restaurants but everything looks pretty basic due to low tourist count I guess these days

beautiful, quiet and almost untouched on the beaches it was like being on a desert island but with some creature comforts. don't expect to walk to too many places for drinks and restaurants as most places are resorts and there are only a few beach bars in a couple of areas.
do the ocean activities, and definitely learn to kite surf!!!!! its amazing.

The place is really far away from everything else, so it's important to stay here a while. The wonderful thing about the place is that basically there is nothing but a beach and a lagoon, perfect for kitesurfing. If you have a diving license you can also see the reef.
I recently stayed at Arasi Resort and had a fantastic time! The location was breathtaking and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and made me feel right at home with their laid-back, friendly attitude.
The accommodation was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the ocean.
The stunning sunset views were unlike I have ever seen before. The atmosphere was so relaxing and serene, and I felt completely rejuvenated during my stay.
I’ll for sure be back for a longer stay.
Rooms were spacious cabanas with outdoor toilet/shower, TV, Wi-Fi, AC, clean linings and super comfy bed, on-site restaurant with an amazing kitchen staff that will go out of their way to accommodate. Small little restaurants nearby in case you salivate for something different. Beach is nearby instead of beachfront, but only a 50m walk. They actually can take a credit card but the system is hit or miss. Kiteboarding is paid thru this staff but this establishment has no equipment or instructors. They hire next door local legend.
Very nice accommodation, good food, nice little pool area. As can be seen from the other applications, it is the people who make this place something special. We started our Sri Lanka trip there, very good to relax and unwind.
The boat trip through the lagoon to the beach is also recommended. Spectacularly, we were able to observe a white-bellied sea eagle chasing a snake. The eagle and other birds can be easily observed from the jetty.
Malik and his family hospitality, the breakfast (continental or Sri lanka is) and the dinner, the garden under the palm trees, the location, the kite school in the hotel...
Malik helped us to organize our days and we made a safari at wilpattu national park with him. Thanks to his good eyes, we saw a lot of animals ! He was always available to help us and to chat with us. Everything was great, thank you for this stay in kalpitiya !
We had an amazing time there. We booked for one night and finally stayed two weeks. The hotel is well located, just in front of the beach with ocean view from the room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Possibility to go for kitesurfing classes, dolphin watching. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful. A special thanks to Shan for his warm welcome and his help, amazing working people. We definitely recommend this place.
The Sri Lankan breakfasts were great. Every effort made to produce a western breakfast as well but bear in mind it’s a Muslim area. The location is adjacent to an undeveloped beach fringed with palms with areas of working fishermen. It’s genuine with locals using the beach and no facilities. It’s a kite surfing area with assorted instructing establishments nearby. The hotel staff are brilliant and can’t do enough.
Oh wow this place is just perfect. you live on the beach, the whole are is covered in sand and you never have to put shoes on. The cheapest room that I had was just fine, comfortable, quiet, clean and a mosquito net was provided. The restaurant is very comfortable and offers great food, but it’s definitely more pricey.
The staff are amazing - super friendly, really helpful and readily available. The resort is ideally located close to both the beach and lagoon. The food is great- best omelette in Sri Lanka! The pool is a great size and nice shaded loungers for reading. Having bike available for getting around was also a bonus!
The location is just at the beach, we had lovely see view from our room. The place is very quiet - we liked that a lot. We could launch our kites just Infront of the hotel. They have place to clean your kite gear as well. The staff were amazing and were organizing anything we asked for. Food was great as well.
We spend 4 nights on these cosy and peaceful place, with amazing food and very friendly staff!
This place has a beautiful garden and very nice pool area.
The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated.
We could use the bikes from the Hotel to go around Kalpitiya.
Small boutique hotel which feels more like a Villa. Very personalised service given by Shakthi. Rooms are huge with very large beds, bathroom were clean. Amazing sea view from the large balconies.
One of the best beaches I have seen in Sri Lanka.
The hotel is on the beach front and is secluded, which makes it very private. The pool is a bonus and the small number of rooms gives the hotel an intimate feel. The rooms were spacious and well appointed.
i liked the staff and the management. I liked the how easy it was just to get around and how the kite session was organized. Love the fact that the beach boys were here to help out. Great variety of food
Very friendly staff - amazing breakfast - one of the best during our 3 month stay in Sri Lanka. Nice bungalow with outdoor shower was a plus. Very comfortable bed. Beach was clean and safe to swim.
The host was very kind and helpful, he gave us a lot of good information about Sri Lanka. We had a very good conversation. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is the best place
-beautiful location in a beautiful garden, close to the beach
- very friendly and helpful staff
- comfortable and nicely decorated cabana
- the food was tasty and portions were large
Best host ever! Really nice people who just want you to have the best stay. His mum cooks delicious feed, best i had in Sri Lanka after one month. Free bikes, coffee and tea. Enjoy!
