Absolutely incredible experience - a quiet, nurturing, caring place just 5 minutes of the main road. We were treated like royalty by all staff of this amazing gem - Athreya Ashram. Everything you can imagine to be in a 5 star resort was here, but in a smaller, more personal way. Dr.Thilaxi recommended all the Ayurveda treatments we can benefit from. Super chef-cook Nuwan - made the best roti and curries and best spicy daal. We are sure to return and already miss our morning yoga practice and personalized local trips, arranged by Dr. and Fonseca. Beautiful property with modern, comfortable and spacious room. It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. Overall accommodations and spa were a luxurious experience that didn't break the bank.
