Absolutely incredible experience - a quiet, nurturing, caring place just 5 minutes of the main road. We were treated like royalty by all staff of this amazing gem - Athreya Ashram. Everything you can imagine to be in a 5 star resort was here, but in a smaller, more personal way. Dr.Thilaxi recommended all the Ayurveda treatments we can benefit from. Super chef-cook Nuwan - made the best roti and curries and best spicy daal. We are sure to return and already miss our morning yoga practice and personalized local trips, arranged by Dr. and Fonseca. Incredible place to stay! The room was very clean and the shower worked great with consistent hot water. The food was unbelievably good and the owners and their son are super friendly. It was a real pleasure to be able to stay here for a bunch of nights and would definitely stay again!

The staff are absolutely wonderful, very kind, and extremely helpful. The place is quite clean with a nice garden to chill in. It's also very quiet.
