I wanted to visit a place where the summer is not hot, and Riga was an excellent choice. We walked a lot, visited a lot of museums, and really enjoyed it. It's worth buying public transport ticket and visit the suburb, and of course Jurmala. We have a super guide of free tours programme (Hidden gems of Art Noveau) with lot of cool information about the city and its history. Riga feels like a deserted ghost town apart from the ideal center, which is relatively populated and most of the buildings have been taken care of.
