Score from 68 reviews Very good
Very good meal, a good room for four, really nice people
We had to move to another Riad because our room was given to somebody else even tough we had booked two months before our arrival. Then they tried to rip us off with some false local 10% taxes.
Very helpfull staff
Pretty far from major attractions Access to cars far from the riad
Staff were great, location good and easy to find.
Very hard to get a meal - only option was expensive set menu, however there is great eating the other side of the medina, 20 minute fast walk (no stopping) or ten minute taxi. The staff didn tell us about this option, only offered expensive set menu.
This Riad was a very well kept house with beautiful decorations from over a century ago. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Terrace has a gorgeous view of the Fez Medina, especially at sunset!
3 people room was a bit small. They asked us to pay up front.
perfect location in old medina (maybe 2 minutes on foot from the cab), amazing view from the terrace (go up at night, a mix of wind, sounds and city lights is simply magical), food, the kindest staff (they even help us with our bags) and riad itself makes you feel like you just entered into the fairytale
I would recommend this riad for travelers in groups or families. All of the rooms have multiple beds and seating areas. The central courtyard and decorations are beautifully typical of Moroccan houses. The upper terraces and view of the city are amazing. The lead staff person, Mohammed, was helpful. Breakfast the first morning was wonderful. Overall, it was a good experience, but was a higher cost than similar riads/experiences I had in Tanger and Marrakech.
Getting in and out of the riad was awkward. My room did not have a lock. I did not have a key for the exterior door, and there was no staff available on more than one occasion in 2 days (another guest who had been napping let me in after 20 minutes knocking). Wi-Fi was spotty. The morning I left I was not able to find anyone. I had been told that 'petit dejeuner' would be served before my departure time, but no one was there, so I was disappointed not to have coffee/food (supposed to be included) or say goodbye.
We spent a lovely time at La Source Bleue. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished (just like on the pictures). We had a huge flat screen in our room and breakfast it also definitely recommendable, Especially great was Mohammed's help during these four days. He has organized pretty much everything we needed and we would like to thank him again for his support! All in all a fantastic stay in Fes, which we enjoyed a lot.
Right in the Medina. Fantastic views of the old City from the roof terrace. A cultural experience. Friendly caretaker. Good breakfasts (better than some 3 and 4 star hotels I've stayed at in Morocco.
Right in the Medina and not for the fainthearted. Long walk from the only public parking lot. Building is around 400 years old and it feels like it. Lousy Wi-Fi. Overpriced. Reminded me of my first trip to Morocco in 1972. I'm past this backpacking nostalgia now - 4 star in the new City next time.
The Stuff is really kind and the breakfast is abundant
Very helpful, they arranged to meet us outside the Medina to show us to the hotel.
