- 2 minutes from the bus station.
- There are restaurants and bars next to the hotel, and in the hotel reception there are vending machines, a coffee machine, and drinks to buy.
- Very friendly staff.
- The breakfast is quite versatile and tasty (unfortunately, it ends at 9:00 AM).
- The air conditioning works very well and cools the room immediately.
- The sea view is awesome.
- There is a small plastic table on the balcony.
- There is a safe, extra pillows, towels, and toiletries (shower gel, shampoo...)

Excellent location half-way up street from Esplanade from where all ferries and buses leave for Gozo, Valetta, and beyond; and half-way again and you're at a LIDL and grocery shops, which you need because you can save a lot of money by cooking- in (re-heating/microwave etc) in this very generously sized suite which had a lovely sunny balcony for morning coffee ( we visited in April and the mornings were cool so we appreciated this sunny nook, coming from a Queensland summertime!) and very private, overlooking backyards and a huge magnolia tree. There's also a brilliant bakery around the corner! We loved it, because we were independently travelling for just over 5 weeks, aged 69 and 71, and enjoyed the access, convenience and quiet of the suites (which really ARE suites - not just a bedroom that so many establishments advertise as a "suite".) The bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage to stay comfortably for a week. The bed was great. Every facility provided. Nothing not to like. And a wonderful selection of English "book swaps"which is such a bonus! And very helpful owners, thanks Dave!

The staff (and I mean ALL of the hotel staff) was amazing! Every employee we met at the hotel was professional, courteous, and went out of their way to make my wife and I felt comfortable and ensure we had all that we needed. I attribute that to the leadership of Alessandro (Hotel General Manager). It is clear that Alessandro hires only employees that understand what customer service entails (a trait that Alessandro exhibited every day).
The property itself is a boutique hotel and each room is well equipped with the latest furnishings and everything that the guest would need. The hotel provides a free breakfast which was AWESOME!
Although the boutique hotel itself is a very cute property, Alessandro and the staff are what will ensure my wife and I return in the future. Thank you, Alessandro and your entire staff for ensuring our stay with you was memorable!

Bedrooms need an update. Very basic bedroom.
Bedrooms need an update. Very basic bedroom. The mattress on bed needs changing for new ones. Towels are not changed daily so have to remind staff to do it. The bathroom need a general update. The main doors are very noisy. The lift very small. The noisy road from early morning but the location is perfect.
Breakfest was very good but not big choice.

Bad customer service, they cannot solve problems themselves, contact Booking, they change the entrance code, they do not communicate, the shower siphon is clogged,,
Stained toilets, bad smell in the room, a bathroom for 6 beds is uncomfortable, etc. I would not recommend if you want to have a good and pleasant stay, for me cleanliness is essential. They make noise, that's normal and it doesn't bother me.

Sliema is lovely - very well connected with lots of shops and good restaurants and bars open late, with some amazing views of Valletta. The water taxi is easy and relatively cheap across to Valletta too - a perfect location if you don't fancy paying the higher prices of the main city. We felt very safe and it's very easy to venture into St. Julian's and other areas if you fancy more of a party vibe.

Sliema, Malta, is a vibrant and bustling city that offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and historic charm. As a traveler, I found Sliema to be an ideal base for exploring Malta. The city’s promenade, lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, provides stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby capital, Valletta. Sliema's central location makes it convenient for day trips to other parts of the island, and the frequent ferry service to Valletta is both quick and scenic.
The city is also known for its lively atmosphere and excellent shopping options, from local boutiques to international brands. There are plenty of dining choices, offering everything from traditional Maltese cuisine to global fare. The nightlife in Sliema is energetic, with numerous bars and clubs to enjoy.
However, Sliema can be quite busy, especially during peak tourist season, and the construction of new developments can sometimes detract from its charm. Despite this, the convenience, beautiful seafront, and array of activities make Sliema a fantastic destination for any traveler visiting Malta.
We have never been in such a good hotel. The staff very generous and always friendly.
Also there is an iron, kitchen and all the tools for food making in the room. The rooms are about 30m2. Also there is tv.
The best thing was air conditionier. The rooms are very clean.
Location very good, bus stops, traveling by boat or ship is on the other side of the street.
Reception desk working 24/7 always helpfull, even they gave us adapter from uk to eu.
And the most important thing on the top floor there are working jakuzzi with lounge.
Everything was perfect, and the condition of the flat was immaculate. Gordon, the host, is probably the best host I have ever met. He did everything he could to make our stay amazing and unforgettable. The private hot tub on the rooftop is unique and modern and we really enjoyed it. I have stayed in many places in this area, including 5 star hotels, and it is by far the best accomodation in Sliema. I will definitely book this penthouse again if I need to stay near Sliema/St Julians/Valetta.
After many visits in Malta, we decided that Sliema is the best location and this hotel had a great position right in the center of Sliema, on a quiet and safe street, close to everything.
The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day, everything was just perfect!
And, at the end, the host agreed to keep, for free, our luggages until the evening, when we had the flight, which was a great help for us.
The room was basic but very clean and I found it at a very good price.
Good safety measure against Covid, good connections with Valletta and ferry dock in Sliema by bus.
Breakfast was adequate and the view from the breakfast room superb.
I would definitely book here again as it was very good value for money.
Best heating system ever found in any hotel!
Cleaning staff very polite and smiley
The hotel is excellent! Staffed by very friendly workers who provide excellent accommodation and a great breakfast, the hotel is located within a two-five blocks of all kinds of places tourists desire; many bus lines, beach swimming, many restaurants, and services of every variety. When visiting Malta in general or Valetta in particular, I feel that this is the best area to stay.
The location of the hotel was superb, situated near the center of Sliema, yet in a peaceful surrounding. The cleanliness and freshness of the place were remarkable, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Additionally, we greatly appreciated the provision of adaptors and hair dryers. Overall, we couldn't find anything negative to say about our stay.
Highly recommended!
Very good boutique hotel off the Main Street in Sliema. Close to good restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed and large shower in the bathroom. But the staff was what really set Amery House apart - every single person we interacted with was kind, friendly, offered good tips, and helped make our visit to Malta exceptionally pleasant.
it was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and they were doing their best to make our stay easy. The hotel is located on Sliema 1 min from ferry 3 station so you have direct station from airport with bus. location is excellent, also ferries that are going to valleta are right in front of the apartment.
We had a 28 m2 sea view room at Hotel in Sliema which is located at the very busy street along the bay with a beautiful view to the skyline of Valletta. Breakfast was very good, the open air pool on the rooftop small but ok for a few strokes. The room was newly renovated, very good bed and spacious bathroom.
Good sized room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom, with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. A cozy and very pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Thank you - reception, bar lounge, restaurant, cleaning staff. You all contributed to our very nice stay in Sliema. We really appreciate it.
the rooms are very comfortable and perfect for a relax nighttime. we love the smell , the bath products and the pillows. we will definitely return to this hotel when in malta . all the staff was very welcome and the common areas , as the breakfast were 5 stars
The location oh the hotel is perfect!
Everything is very close, but you don't feel like you are in the crowded area.
Big recommendation for the place and best regards for the breakfast kitchen chef who was so friendly and nice to the guests. ❤️
Room 206. Both beds were 5 star comfort.
View from balcony.
Breakfast included.
The bar and grill next to the restaurant is fantastic. We stayed at hotel 3 nights and ate at the restaurant 3 nights. The food, drinks and service was excellent.
Great hotel, in Sliema. Everything was spotless. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Easy to get to (the ferry to and from Valletta is close by).
Very welcoming staff. A special thank you to Goran!
Will come back!
Firstly, I must commend the hotel for its well-maintained facilities. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities provided were top-notch. It takes a 9-minute walk required to reach Sliema ferry terminal.
It’s a family run hotel and all staff were friendly. The breakfast is excellent and the location is good, only a 2 min walk to the Sliema ferry and bus. Great value for money!
