Pro:
- The location is very good, between the two main attractions, Valletta and St. Julian's.
- 2 minutes from the bus station.
- There are restaurants and bars next to the hotel, and in the hotel reception there are vending machines, a coffee machine, and drinks to buy.
- Very friendly staff.
- The breakfast is quite versatile and tasty (unfortunately, it ends at 9:00 AM).
- The air conditioning works very well and cools the room immediately.
- The sea view is awesome.
- There is a small plastic table on the balcony.
- There is a safe, extra pillows, towels, and toiletries (shower gel, shampoo...)
- There is also a power socket with a European adapter, only one in our case, the rest were British type.
- There is an elevator.
- Hot water comes very quickly, and the water pressure is okay.

It is very touristy place, cute old buildings in the inner part of the city, but "outer" layer by the sea are horrible hotels, not charming.
Good connection by bus or ferry to other parts of Malta

Bedrooms need an update. Very basic bedroom.
Bedrooms need an update. Very basic bedroom. The mattress on bed needs changing for new ones. Towels are not changed daily so have to remind staff to do it. The bathroom need a general update. The main doors are very noisy. The lift very small. The noisy road from early morning but the location is perfect.
Breakfest was very good but not big choice.

Bad customer service, they cannot solve problems themselves, contact Booking, they change the entrance code, they do not communicate, the shower siphon is clogged,,
Stained toilets, bad smell in the room, a bathroom for 6 beds is uncomfortable, etc. I would not recommend if you want to have a good and pleasant stay, for me cleanliness is essential. They make noise, that's normal and it doesn't bother me.

Sliema is lovely - very well connected with lots of shops and good restaurants and bars open late, with some amazing views of Valletta. The water taxi is easy and relatively cheap across to Valletta too - a perfect location if you don't fancy paying the higher prices of the main city. We felt very safe and it's very easy to venture into St. Julian's and other areas if you fancy more of a party vibe.

Sliema, Malta, is a vibrant and bustling city that offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and historic charm. As a traveler, I found Sliema to be an ideal base for exploring Malta. The city’s promenade, lined with cafes, restaurants, and shops, provides stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby capital, Valletta. Sliema's central location makes it convenient for day trips to other parts of the island, and the frequent ferry service to Valletta is both quick and scenic.
The city is also known for its lively atmosphere and excellent shopping options, from local boutiques to international brands. There are plenty of dining choices, offering everything from traditional Maltese cuisine to global fare. The nightlife in Sliema is energetic, with numerous bars and clubs to enjoy.
However, Sliema can be quite busy, especially during peak tourist season, and the construction of new developments can sometimes detract from its charm. Despite this, the convenience, beautiful seafront, and array of activities make Sliema a fantastic destination for any traveler visiting Malta.
Freshly renovated 4 stars hotel sharing pool and rooftop with its 5 starts sister in the next building. Perfect service, free towels, bar with happy hours, very good spa and gym. Delicious breakfast and cocktails. Ever smiling, helpful and welcoming staff. Joyful vibe with many couples. Great rooftop pool splashing out to the clear cut of sea view. Perfect WiFi everywhere. It is in the quiet center of Sliema. Five minutes walk to waterfront, Valetta ferry, local supermarket and bus stations. Hope to get stay there again. Highly recommended.
Good location close to the ferry and lots of restaurants in Sliema. We had the room with a queen and sofa bed. It was a good size and the kitchenette was nice and well stocked with a toaster, kettle, and dishes. The robes and slippers were a nice touch. The roof deck was lovely. Dave helped arrange a taxi to the hotel, which was great. Dave was responsive to adjusting the taxi pick up and check-in time when our flight was 2 hours late. The room was very quiet. The complimentary bottled water and local beer in the fridge was great.
Great location in a quiet part of Sliema facing the sea / promenade, near to bus stops where we caught buses to all parts of the island. Although there was no restaurant at the time, (due to Covid restrictions) the bar had a more than adequate range of hot and cold small plates at good prices and a wide range of drinks which were cheaper than elsewhere and a good quality range. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.
The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
Beautiful boutique hotel in Sliema, surrounded by the historical townhouses. Fantastic staff, everyone were very friendly and felt super welcomed. Extra shout out to the 2 housekeeping staff young men who did a great job and were in general very sweet and friendly.
Great breakfast with many options, and gorgeous pool area.
I was also very happy to receive a snack box of water, apple and a pastry for my very early departure, delivered to my room the evening before. Nice touch!
We went there for 10 days and it was amazing!
The hostel is well placed in Sliema (less than 10 minutes walk to all boat excursion, less than 5 for restaurant).
The Spa is peacefull and relaxing!
For the beach club: very near of the hostel, perfectly located in front of the sea and the staff is attentive to every request or questions!
The room is large, quiet and comfortable with a small balcony!
I think it's one of the best hotel in Sliema and maybe in Malta!
The location was great, nearby the sea and the bus station was approximately 10 minutes away. The design of the hotel was very modern. The room was very clean, beautiful and included a massive and comfortable bed. The employees were extremely polite, friendly and tried their best to make this experience one of the best ones. I don't have any drawbacks to mention, if we visit Malta in the future again, then we will definitely choose this hotel to stay in.
The hotel was in a great location. Close to Sliema and Sliema harbour and the Hop on Hop off bus. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was great and there was a choice of restaurants. The room was large and spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfy. The rooftop pool and the indoor pool were beautiful. The staff gave us delicious birthday cake on arrival. We loved our stay at the Palace.
Very good boutique hotel off the Main Street in Sliema. Close to good restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bed and large shower in the bathroom. But the staff was what really set Amery House apart - every single person we interacted with was kind, friendly, offered good tips, and helped make our visit to Malta exceptionally pleasant.
A very comfortable room, with an excellent mattress & plenty of wardrobes for clothes. The hotel is in an excellent location, and our room had a balcony with a great view over Sliema harbour towards Valetta. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and use of the Aqualuna Lido across the road was included, which was great for a dip & sunbathing.
The apartment is nice!
Brand new,modern, and very clean.
Amazing welcome by the host (Sasa),we check-in very late by night. They left us bottle of water, coffee, sugar, and milk on the house.
Located in the best location in Sliema, with one leg out of the building and you are in front of the sea!!! Very close to the Sliema ferry.
This is hotel felt like home. Very cozy, new, clean, the breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly and ready to help. Special greetings to Pepi from the restaurant, she is absolutely lovely!
The port of Sliema with all the shops, bars and restaurants are very close by. I am definitely going to return. :)
Not sure why the ratings are so bad - the hotel is perfectly fine for the price this low. It was clean and comfortable, the room for 3 was spacious and we had all we needed. Based on the reviewes, we weren't expecting much, but actually got pleasantly surprised. The staff was mostly nice and helpful.
The location is very good. The hotel is located on the main road of Sliema city, 5 minutes walking nearby ferry to Valleta and a lot of restaurants and pubs. The view from the double sea-view romm is amazing in the morning. The staff was extremly friendly and very helpful.
A clean and very well maintained boutique hotel in the streets of Sliema, Malta. Nice place with a very good booking and checkin-process. Rooms are modern, clean, stylie and everything is functionell. Good bed, well maintained bathroom & small kitchenette.
Location: Sliema is a welcome break from Valletta. Only a 10 minute ferry ride away. Fresh air and sea views. However my room had internal views (as expected) and there was plenty of public space across the road. The hotel is very utilitarian - no frills.
I like that it’s located at the beautiful town of Sliema. Property is clean and new. It’s peaceful and quiet at night time. Also, nearby this hotel there is this best seafood restaurant called “Sea Salt”! We appreciate that Netflix is also provided.
The hostel is very close to the beaches in Sliema and it was surprisingly good for how cheap it was. The room was spacious and comfortable, air conditioned, it had big lockers and a good bathroom. I was very pleased with my stay there.
The staff were very lovely!
The best thing is the prime location also it's right at Sliema ferries, full of restaurants and bars.
Rooms were clean, I got an upgrade also, that was cool!
it had everything that we wanted. Great room with great views, great breakfast, lovely rooftop bar with swimming pool. lovely staff. Bus stop just outside the hotel.
