Great area for outdoor adventures. Was a little disappointed with the town itself-too many pizza and burger/American food places and junky souvenir places. Wished there were more Panamanian places. But the area is beautiful and people were really nice.

It has nothing to do with a hotel
It has nothing to do with a hotel
And I actually find it very misleading that you have given it 5 stars.
No heating and only access to the room except for breakfast.
and furthermore two big dogs that roam around outside your room

It is a very cute place with excellent weather during January. We had dinner at the Panamonte and at Butchers (the meat was excellent). The new walking park next to the river is beautiful. We visited Finca Lerida, it is a beautiful finca with the best coffee served (and passion fruit cake!) - we drive to the National Park area and the view was stunning! And then we drove to the Volcan area. Different kind of nature, beautiful as well!

We absolutely loved Boquete!
We absolutely loved Boquete! Gorgeous, stunning natural beauty. Birds, flowers, plants. We saw a range of different birds species including many hummingbirds, warblers and the Quetzal. The weather is temperature and lovely as well. The locals are friendly. I strongly recommend this to any nature lover who just loves spending time outdoors. :)

I loved going for breakfast to a small family owned restaurant, it's called "Punto de Encuentro" it's off the main street as you enter the town. I highly recommend waking up early to eat a yummy Panamanian breakfast.
Driving through the mountains is always a really cool experience as well. Going up to Finca Lerida and trying some coffees. Or going for some Italian food at "El Pianista".
You can also plan a trip to either hike up to Volcan Baru or pay someone to take you up in a truck and watch the sunrise. Overall, Boquete is AMAZING and I highly highly recommend.
The night life is also pretty fun too! So many places with good local beer, artisanal and IPA's are always available.
The house is in top condition and has everything and beyond of what one needs. The finish is very well thought through. Super TV, WiFi, as well as kitchen with all its utilities. Nice and safe neighbourhood. One feels homely right away.
By car the city center of Boquete with lots of restaurants and supermarkets are close by (less than 10 Min.).
The hosts are very nice and super responsive to any queries and they take care.
Impressive view of the mountains and the play of clouds. Good starting point for sightseeing.
The view from my room was amazing! Looking down on Boquete as the sun went down and the lights started to come on was beautiful. Sunrise over the mountain was beautiful as well. Even more impressive was Melany. She made check in easy and fast. She went above and beyond by helping me order delivery and gave me a list of restaurants to try the next day. Very gracious and she made the stay extra special.
Very nice family-run hotel, in walking distance to the center of Boquete. It’s only a few minutes to the supermarket and a lot of restaurants. The family that owns the place is super nice and helps with everything you need. There’s also a big kitchen, where you can make your own meals. We were also quite happy about the fact, that there was hot water, since it’s a little bit colder in Boquete.
The staff are really nice and so helpfull
The hotel is located near restaurants and you can walk to most of places
However, there is no attraction on site (no pool, no restaurant or anything else)
You have to take a taxi to go to most places, but it is pretty cheap
Overall a good stay, if it's raining, you won't have much to do on site.
The view in the restaurant was simply amazing, It doesn't get a lot better than that. The facilities and the garden where very very nice. As for the staff some were very friendly and others were not. A complete different experience than Bambuda lodge. Overall the stay was nice and Boquete is really worth a visit
Location and premises are fantastic. Outside of town so a good 35min uphill hike but I enjoyed it. Comfy rooms, good showers, spacious common areas. The shared kitchen and pool area could be cleaner but it doesn't depend on the hotel, but more on the guests.
Everything was amazing. This is the place to be at Boquete. Amazing view, great location, close to everything but at the same time you can be disconnected and just relax. Staff was also 10 out of 10. We loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.
Our suite had a full kitchen and private entrance so we did not use the shared kitchen. From the shared living area, one can see hummingbirds next to the small waterfall. The property is located next to river just outside the main part of a Boquete.
We loved the hotel. It was gorgeous and amazing. We loved it ever since we stepped onto the hotel area. Lots of gorgeous flowers, plants and birds. We definitely wished we had more time at the hotel. I strongly recommend this place. :)
All the staff were helpful. The room was very clean, a plus. The price compared to other hotels was a bargin. Having a restaurant/bar in the hotel was also a plus. The grounds were impeccably kept. Great location as well.
It felt like I was at a bed and breakfast. The staff was personable, friendly and eager to help with any problem. I would stay there again. The breakfast was very good and the hotel was close to downtown Boquete.
The staff is attentive and kind. The grounds and gardens are lovely and filled with birds. Our rooms were comfortable and the daily breakfast was delicious. It's a very nice place to stay in Boquete.
Very central location close to all the restaurants and shops but still in a very quiet area. The views of the valley from the hotel were the highlight of our stay. The staff were really nice.
The most important is that the hotel is pet friendly and it has a beautiful and close backyard. The location let you walk to everywhere in the town. The rooms were clean and good enough.
We love Risco de Hugo!! Feels like a home away from home. Everything was perfect. The location is absolutely beautiful and a short drive to Boquete. Love staying here every time.
Nice hotel at the foot of the mountains with the possibility of beautiful trips to the surroundings, very close to restaurants and shops, parking available, bright and clean room
Super friendly people and awesome Land-view. I can do nothing but enjoy the mountain and clouds in front of the hotel. And they have a very lovely dog whose name is Hugo.😂
