It is not my favorite city in the jungle. Not a lot to wander around. People are very kind. I recommend visiting the boiling river but the bride's veil waterfall was a rip-off: too much travel time for something not amazing at all. Food was great everywhere, specially in: Tuyuyo, el Toro Pez and Ukaw. People are great. Some good basic local food. City is filthy and extremely polluted. Very dusty and trash everywhere. Motor taxis are very cheap. Markets are fun. Beautiful shipibo handcrafts. Best is to explore areas outside pucallpa.

It was like an oasis of calm away from the bustle of Pucallpa. A lovely place to relax. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food at the restaurant was tasty and I liked that this hotel catered for people on dietas. The nature and calm makes this hotel a really good choice for before and after an Ayahuasca retreat. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel grounds are immaculately clean; the staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful. I received one of the best massages I have ever had (and I say this as a practicing massage therapist!).
