Sopot is a go-to location for Tourists in Poland and during the season I feel like it is a bit too crowded. That's why I really enjoy spending time in Sopot after the season in September/October. Weather is still nice for a walk by the beach and there are not too many people there. There is so much to see in tri-city, with local fast train network (SKM) you can go to visit Gdansk ticket cost 6,20 zl per adult and kids pay less. Sopot has great shops and boutiques - they not cheap as everyone would think, but there is great shopping centers around Gdynia - Sopot - Gdansk. Everything a great seaside resort has to offer - you will find here: wide, clean beach with velvety sand, top restaurants and bars, happy vibe, absolutely beautiful residential district with late 19th and early 20th century architecture (beautifully restored), and a short drive away from world-class historic downtown of Gdansk. Depending what you feel like doing, you can choose bustling shops and restaurants, laid-back beach/park walks, or sightseeing in one of Europe's great cities. All at your fingertips.
