Easy walk to the ferry, and to several restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable. There was a compressor (?) outside our window that was quite loud, but it did not run overnight, and we were not in the room much during the day.

The location was good, you definitely need a car. It’s a small apartment but it was clean, well decorated and had everything as described. The apartment has a very nice outdoor setup with grill and pool. We only stayed one night so we weren’t able to enjoy it. Overall it was a good stay.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and well outfitted. The owner seems to have thought of everything to make it comfortable and convenient. There’s a magnificent view from the large balcony and an amazing swimming pool on the premises.

Make sure you don’t come if you’re in the rainy time April starts to get more rain. And try out the food throughout the town because it is wonderful and so many beautiful beaches rent something that has a real motor like a side-by-side cause some of the heels are steep.

Culebra has beautiful beaches accessible thru golf carts, jeep rentals or taxi to main beach, Flamenco beach. We traveled the end of November and rip current level was extremely high! Restaurants open around 4 pm, bakeries open early with long lines. Small convenience stores have plenty of food to take and eat in your room. Our family of 5 enjoyed exploring the many beaches around the island, snorkeling at Punta Soldado and Tamarindo and the views at Culebra. We loved Rolls of Heaven food the best!

WARNING - don't stay at this hotel if you want a clean room and facility. This property has nothing to offer. It's too pricey and they do not offer customer service. Hotel 8 is superior to this property. The furniture is broken and has torn covers; the stair are disgusting and filth everywhere. Don't believe the reviews. I left this property today and so relieved to be out of there. Whew.

Culebra was a beautiful island with a lot of beaches and wildlife to see. We saw horses roaming around, birds, crabs, sea turtles, and countless tropical fish while snorkeling. There were several nice restaurants serving fresh fish and local cuisine and even a taco place! Highly recommend the day trip to Culebrita with Captain Bill on his catamaran with his 2 dogs. He takes you to the island where he provides you snorkeling gear and instructions as to not disturb the reefs. He also provides info on exploring the island of Culebrita which includes a few beaches and an old lighthouse. He provided a beautiful charcuterie for snacks and before we returned to Culebra he prepares an incredible dinner of fresh fish and veggies with rice which you eat on the boat (best meal I had on the trip). The island was an experience you have to see for yourself!
Absolutely beautiful and clean spot. Spacious as well, and it exceeded our expectations as we added a few days onto our Culebra trip and needed a place to stay. Large flat screen TV on the wall which was an added bonus, especially in the adjoining room we reserved for our two kids. Self check in and check out process is very easy to understand, and the lockers they provide allowed us to maximize our stay both before and after check in and check out! Air conditioning worked like a charm, nice fridge for usage, just a perfect stay!
Rooms were just like the picture. Clean and confortable beds. There was hot water, bathroom was clean too and had towels, shampoo and soap for your convenience. Inside the room there is a mini fridge and outside in the common areas there is a coffee maker and microwave which we were able to use. The host was kind enough to give is coffee to brew since the market was closed and even lent us beach towels cause we forgot ours. Overall we loved the place. It was a small, quite and nice hotel close to everything.
The location is excellent - close to taxis, food, ferry port, restaurants, grocery store, gas station and everything else you need whether staying couple nights or a week or longer.
We stayed here for two nights out of the 8 days that we stayed on CULEBRA and found Mamcita’s to be a good value! Our room (103) was spartan but CLEAN, and surprisingly great sleeping in the center bedroom! The staff from front office AND THE RESTAURANT were not only helpful but very polite each and every time! 👍
The location is perfect and the grounds are so lush and green! We loved hearing the roosters all the time. The breakfast was great every day. We rented a car and explored most of the island and I can say that this is by far one of the best (if not the best) hotel in the island.
Thank you Carlos for being an excellent host!
perfect location and kind staff ! we really recommend it if you are visiting the wonderful culebra ! the guest house is close to everything, is clean and the staff was kind ! we also had dinner with fish in the evening with a beautiful location !
It is very close to the Culebra's Ferry. Very organized, quiet, and clean. The owners are very kind and responsible. The place is very comfortable and quiet. You can enjoy its environment that connects you with nature.
The hotel was super cute & clean but small, the location was ok not a lot to do within walking distance need a golf cart . The Taco spot across street saved us with food and drinks due to no water in the island
posada la hamaca is in the center of culebra, we have restaurants, cafes and airport. beaches are not to far from here, We went to Flamenco, Zoni and Soldado beach and our experience was amazing
We spent a whole week there, very safe, in the middle off the island, easily accessible with golf cart, very nice staff, quick answer by e-mail if needed… we loved our experience there.
Nice private accommodation. Clean and comfortable. One big room which worked well for us. Kids slept on a pull out couch. Nice patio with a good view of the water and island
THE VIEWS!!! This place is a MUST! It’s all updated and modern. The price is UNBEATABLE! I will be coming back for sure! I recommend to anyone who staying in culebra.Very clean!
Very nice apartment. Comfortable and the AC was great. Especially after a hot day In Culebra. Definitely will come back to island charm in my next Culebra visit.
I loved the views but the website and instagram should be updated to see what cottages got what views. I will be visiting Culebra and Aleli again for sure.
Location is spot on! Nice clean rooms. I ended up staying here 3 times during my stay on the island, lack of accomodation. The bar in the back is awesome!
