The city is very clean and safe. So many activities to do. So many places to see. You don't even need to sign up with a tour company to visit places of interest except to see the gorillas. You can take public transport or a taxi, or a Moto (motorcycle taxi) to any destination, although the busses are crowded. World class art galleries....and beautiful nature...and many more good stuff.

Kigali is a beautiful city—the cleanliness, calmness and general orderliness—it’s a tourist’s delight! I enjoyed my tour of the Genocide Memorial: it’s a well thought out idea. Kigali’s functional city infrastructure; street lights, well done pavements, speed limits, disciplined driving and the constant innovations are such a breath of fresh air. It had been a while since I visited and I highly recommend it!

Spectacular city. Extraordinary people.
Spectacular city. Extraordinary people. The genocide memorial is a must. Humanity at its worst and how the country has turned around. Remarkable and to be commended. Absolutely safe. So beautiful. The roads are spotless clean.
Location is great and very reasonably priced! The hotel is within walking distance of coffee shops and a number of great restaurants.
All the staff were very friendly and sought to accommodate any requests. They connected me to a driver: Jean Paul of Nile Tours and Travel Agency. Jean Paul was incredibly helpful and quickly understood what I was interested in seeing in and around Kigali and made it happen. He even helped out when a pre-booked tour with a different agency for Gorilla Trekking threatened to fall apart.
I have never in my entire travels felt cheated and exploited like this. The image is very deceptive. There is no pool, and the room is tiny. You can't even move around the bed. You are given a small space, and everything else is shared. They kindly offered me a master bedroom, but it didn't make any difference. Even though I had paid for the stay, I left immediately and got myself a better place in the city centre.
Kigali Downtown is small and nothing much to see, about 1-2 hours is enough and hotel are expensive. This hostel is in very very nice beautiful and clean area. Many foreigners lives here. Near to hostel there is nice village there can find very cheap beer 🍺 and good food. I loved this place and staying here many days. Staff are very good and helpful. Garden inside is fresh and ...
Yambi is a great place to stay, I was very happy there for my two-week stay.
Beautiful garden, bright colours and birds chirping cheerily during the day. Balcony overlooks, with a nice view of Kigali city.
Fantastic breakfast. Friendly staff. Mini bar (beers, sodas)
Just a short short walk away from the main road, from which one can get a bike or walk to shops and restaurants.
Hotel was okay, but this guys are robbers. The staffs of the hotel stolen my money from my bag. During the breakfast time. They robbed 200,100,100,100 euros and 100$ in total 500 euros and 100$.
From my bag I had even other currencies lile kenyan shilling, ethiopian bir, smaller usd etc they did not take that but in precise just the bigger notes.
I liked everything! It's a great boutique hotel with high standards rooms and bathrooms for the price. Everything is functional and beautiful. The location is great and the restaurant very nice too. Breakfast is super good and cappuccinos best, unforgettable! Congratulations to all! If in Kigali again, Gloria is my place! :-)
My stay was amazing! Pacifique who works at the hotel was a great help - very friendly, understanding, and had good communication. He'll answer any questions or concerns within minutes and definitely made the stay way more pleasant and memorable. The room was clean and spacious, I'll be staying here again.
The location is good, close to the city center. The rooms and toilets are neat and clean, and the service is very good. The family lives in three rooms, and there are three toilets that are particularly convenient. The price/performance ratio is very high, and I will book it next time.
The hotel service is excellent and my needs are always well met. Moreover, the hotel's catering is very good. The restaurant's price is moderate and the taste is very good. The waiters are also very attentive. I will recommend this hotel to my visiting friends.
The place is well located in the heart of the city centre. Staff were very friendly and the place has a nice view. The restaurant is nice. The hotel building has also a supermarket, and lot of commerce in the lower floors.
The hotel is the famous one and pretty affordable compared to the other hotels around
The staff was very helpful and welcoming
the pool and the bar are very decent
the location is very central in the city center.
The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance of the Kigali convention center and other shopping centers like Kigali Heights. The neighborhood is also charming, and the Kigali view is fantastic.
I liked the quality of the property and the price....My stay at the hotel was pleasant. Cleanliness was top notch. Lovely view. The whole experience was great. Will be back.
