Resort staff were very polite and helpful. The resort was empty (low season) which was awesome. Great swimming pool and awesome location with access to the beach and a local restaurant. It was a nice retreat from Phuket to relax and do absolutely nothing else but chill. Praises to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Nice lady who managers the guesthouse and we had an enjoyable stay. Love the fact that there is a common kitchen for very light food preparations and the sink and fridge.

Cousin resort was a wonderful, low key holiday. It was basic, clean, quiet and had an attentive family taking care of the property/our needs. Access to both a pool and a beach with plenty of beach chairs was perfect with kids. We also enjoyed the island for Songkran.

A room in private property 200 meters in length around 30 meters away from the beach. At night the area is very dark (there's a garden light from a next-door neighbor and a light from a hotel over 400 meters away), and it is very easy to see all the stars in the sky. The sound at night is the sound of the waves crashing and leaves rusting. The beach is on the west coast so the best view is the sunsetting into the sea in the evening. The property provides chairs and beds that you can carry to the beach to relax. The beach is a bit steep but can walk a little bit to find a good spot. In the evening, there'll be a lot of hermit crabs in the area.

Ko Kho Khao is a stunning island with the most amazing beaches that I have seen anywhere. At the time we visited, the island was quiet and if you saw 2 other people on the beach as you at the same time - you were doing well.
The perfect place to relax and unwind.
Recommend having your own transport like scooters so you can explore the island and get around.

Small island with not a lot to do except relax.
Small island with not a lot to do except relax. Island has seen a few failed ventures most probably due to lack of guests. Thailand is saturated with tourist spots offering the same thing over and over again. This little island offers a get away from the busy spots and offers none of the attractions that get bad publicity .
Very nice bungalows, everything was perfect and very clean. No mass tourism. You have your own house. The beach is very nice, also there was a breakfast buffet, plenty of food. Stuff is very friendly. Very calm and perfect to relax. It was a little bit to calm for us. There were no other buldings, restaurants or bars close to that beach. Kho Kho Kao island is far away from mass tourism. Its good if you want to relax. We will come again.
superb facilities and location. the bungalows are very fresh with fan and clean. nice comfortable beds (not to hard). Everything is right on the beach with trees and hammocks (hang mats) everywhere. Such a lovely place. the beach is endless and almost no one there. One of few places still like this in Thailand. The best food on the Island and among the best we have had in Thailand.
The staff was super friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the bed really comfortable. The pool is big and great for swimming. The hotel is well taken care of, at the beach and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I will for sure stay here again next time I visit Koh Kho Khao.

I loved the simplicity of the cottages, the amazingly kept grounds, the big trees, the entrance, the tasty food, the amazingly attentive staff and owners, the proximity to Phuket and the airport without having the feel of the big resorts AT ALL. I liked the ferry ride and the boats. I just loved this place so much.
Location is great for relaxing. The hotel is right in front of the sea and it is natural to be beaten by the humidity and to look dated. Staying in a hotel that is 75% empty maybe scare some people, but to me it is a bonus, less people in the swimming pool, less people in breakfast etc
A paradise place. Very lovingly managed resort. Very well maintained, clean and decorated with many beautiful details. Extremely friendly staff. I would give 15 points as a rating. It's hard to say goodbye, but I'll definitely come back. Many thanks to everyone for this wonderful stay.
A beautiful, small and quiet resort on a long, wide beach. I had a relaxing time here. The restaurant offers many choices and the Thai food they served was very good. Good massage on the beach. The staff is wonderful and helpful, simply the best! Everything is very clean.
Only 10 bungalows so the resort is just the perfect getaway place if you don't like crowds. On a very long sandy beach which is practically deserted.
Resort food was excellent. We took our own breakfast supplies and the resort happily supply boiling water in a thermos.

Like I remember Thailand 30 years ago, only MUCH more comfortable bungalows. Vast stretch of beach, fantastic food at the restaurant. We loved our beachfront porch and the fact that it was pure relaxation. Only surprised it isn't fully booked. Great value.
If you love nature & not into busy touristy areas, this is the place for you. The island is pristine. The resort was well maintained, clean & quiet. Staff and the locals were extremely nice. I would love to go back.
Bungalow was clean and well furnished. Nice pool which was always clean. Location right on the beach, very relaxing. Food was good and also options on other resorts up and down the beach.
