The location, rooms, and overall facilities amazing
Surrounded in a private natural tropical garden, The Mangrove by Blu Monkey Phuket is in front of the sea with a view of Chalong Bay.

Room was amazing, on the upper floor with high ceiling. Very comfy mattress and bed linen was of a great quality.
Microwave in the kitchen. very clean room.
Bathtub on the balcony is pretty private despite being outside of the room, and water pressure was really good.
I love the territory of the hotel and often visit Grove Cafe, chill vibe and can hang out on the beach for hours.
Pool is also good.
Highly recommended.

It’s so far from the main city and the amount you pay for up and taxi can be used to stay in a better hotel in the city.
Rooms are very old .. looks like very old building fitted with some lights and a bathroom. They badly need to renew therooms. It has to be brightly lit.

Very disapointing I came with high expectations and they were not fullfiled:
1. The staff at the front desk were not friendly at all. I arrived after a long flight to Thiland and hardly a smile from any of the receptionists.
I was looking for some attractions to do and was looking through their book for about half an hour trying to decide what to choose. No one aproached or tried to help or offer advice. That happened twice.
2. It was my birthday, and a family member from
US waned to order a surprise cake for me. He called me up to ask if I got it, I had no idea what he was talking about, aperantly they just left it in the room fridge without notifying me at all + did no add the note he asked to print for me.
3. When I arrived I asked where can I change money. The receptionist said "turn right and walk 10 minutes" , the problem is after you start going right, there are 2options of turns and no one to ask as there is litrelly nothing around. They could be a bit more specific..
4. I had some ants in the room+ 2 baby spiders. I understand this is a tropical island and yet this is a 5 star resort.
5. There is no gegi milk option in the restaurant
for coffee. Only cow milk. I woul think in 2023 there ould be at least one other option for vegans.
6. There is more but I made my point..

My wife and I rate this beach experience as excellent for swimming (but not for surfing!), and although best not to swim at lower tides due to the exposed reef, medium and hight tides are excellent. It's safe , protected from the surf, and clean for kids and beginner swimmers. Best things are the great service provided by the KANTARY hotel (by a covered vehicle), departing every 15 minutes, and the free towels (for Kantary guests) and affordable restaurant at the Panwa Beach, located just over the hill.

Panwa Beach is very peaceful, away from the crowds, but not dead. There are people walking along the beach and a handful of bar/restaurants along the shore, but it isn't too loud or crazy at night. A nice peaceful getaway. As for the swimming, maybe not the best as the ground under the water along the beach seemed to have a lot of large rocks and other items in it. I wouldn't exactly recommend it for swimming. But for relaxing, boating, getting a few drinks, it's great. My recommendation would be to stay at a resort/hotel along Panwa and renting a car so that you can drive to other beaches for swimming, such as Ya Nui beach.

There was a small beach close to our apartment which was located next to Panwa Cape Viewpoint. This beach is very private, small but beautiful. Another bigger beach which is called Panwa Beach is close to the hotel Cape Panwa Hotel. There is regular free shuttle bus from Kantari Hotel to Cape Panwa Hotel, which is provides daily every 20 minutes.

Staff were very friendly , my room on the first njgt had a massive leak in the ceiling - so had a night of dripping sounds onto the floor. I requested a new room the next morning and was moved to a similar room ( with a less good view but no complaints there it was dry so that’s what counts).
Generally found the resort in need of a big update - looks and feels very dated.
love love loved the privacy of the villa especially as a hijabi who doesnt ever get to enjoy these facilities in peace. this is phukets best kept secret. the place was pristine clean and the staff sooo welcoming we still dream of returning because of it. the best hospitality and nothing was too much and the kindest staff. great wifi everywhere too and the view is amazing. cant believe how much square metre you get for your money too and so many facilities including beach towels and sun hats… the place was huge and we loved it
The hotel was fantastic!!! One of the best experience we ever had in Phuket will return on next trip. Situated on a beautiful mangrove beach area with stunning sea view. Great get away from the busy crowd and experience full relaxation. The room rate was also great value with breakfast included. Room was spacious and clean with bath tub and small outdoor patio. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thank you for such great hospitality and superb service.
The pool was beautiful, the beach could have used more maintenance in front of the property, we found broken glass and garbage, which I think the hotel staff could’ve taken care of relatively easily. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were great! We also would’ve liked a small table in our room to dine at, there was room for it, and the light fixture was there for it, which we kept bumping our heads into, but the table wasn’t there.
I recently stayed at Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort and had a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit.
Despite the slightly aged facilities, everything was well-maintained and clean. To my surprise, they even upgraded my room, adding an extra touch of luxury. The hotel's location was convenient, and I would gladly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
Fantastic location literally right on the beach. Also one of the few Phuket beaches that was not overrun with beach lounges and umbrellas. Great staff - nothing was too much trouble and working within the vegan restrictions was no problem. It was such a chilled and relaxing place, that we didn't leave it during our stay or want to leave when the time came.
For those who want to relax, swim in the sea this hotel is the best option.
There is a private beach, the pool is big the food at the bar and the restaurants is very good we ate there all day all night.
We stayed at 4 hotels in Phuket and this is the best hotel we stayed at.
I highly recommend considering this place in your trip to phuket.
The room was pretty nice, though needs some minor renovations. The lobby looked very elegant. The view was really beautiful, despite the low tide beach. I like how quiet and peaceful the hotel/hotel area was. The spa was good quality and the workers at the spa place speak very good English, way better than the others.
Staff were so friendly and really went the extra mile, beautiful room and the pools were amazing. Food in the hotel restaurant was tasty and a reasonable price, with an amazing view. Free hour of rental of kayaks and paddle boards every day and there were a few pool and beach toys as well
Small property but this is exactly what I wanted
The room is spacious and clean
Fast internet
Direct access to the beach
Plenty of beach chairs
There is a restaurant next to the hotel, unfortunately, we did not try it
The twin is about 25 minutes away in Taxi. 600 baht each way.
This hotel is Absolutely thrilled with my stay at this remarkable hotel! The breathtaking view surpassed all expectations, and the service provided by Butler Kitty and Butler Abu Hanefa was truly exceptional. A memorable experience that I can't wait to relive!"
Location was great, overlooking the beach with lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance. The property was very well equipped and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. Quieter part of Phuket, very relaxing and would definitely recommend.
I loved the laidback atmosphere of the place. Good food at affordable prices. Great bed. Beautiful surroundings. Nice to paddle up the river at high tide. Free shuttle to Old Phuket on weekends.
