Our room (505) was more than we expected, though there were small levels (i.e. a few stairs upon entry and to the kitchen & bathroom) but no big problem at all. Previous reviews call for a new upgrade but we didn’t find that in our room- clean and everything looked fresh. The room was at the end of the fifth floor with two rooms close but we heard no noise from other rooms or from above. No pet sounds either and the hotel was reported full. The desk person (Anita) was very helpful and cheerful in making us feel welcomed when our room was ready (earlier than we expected). We parked in the back in the open area (not in the garage) and found no problem as the hotel has an elevator to all floors.
Note there will be a $17 charge for parking. Breakfast was very good. The City Brewery had an entrance right off the hotel lobby so we did have a quick beer but Pratt Street is practically across the street where we found Vaughan’s Public House (an Irish Pub & Restaurant) where we had an excellent dinner. Anyway, we had no complaints and, based on this experience, would return to stay.

Comfort. Had a concert to go to and we loved the fact we could take the elevator down to the second floor and cross to the XL Center without leaving the building.

It was in a good location and easy to find and inexpensive
Beautiful city if you stay at the right place. There's a lot to explore. The food was delicious and I was unaware of this beforehand because it can actually be really hard to find the good places when trying to look them up. It's almost better to drive around until you see something you might want to check out. For reference I ate at the Max Downtown and Trumbull Kitchen. Also there are parking garages literally everywhere. Just be aware of their closing times.

The hotel was great.
The hotel was great. I came in on the train which was a two minute walk to the hotel. We dined at Black Eyed Sally's which was a very short walk from the hotel. Also, we enjoyed walks in Bushnell Park.
The woman minding the Continental Breakfast section, was very pleasant however there were items missing such as butter and I expected more fresh fruit like apples and oranges.
Overall, my stay was enjoyable.

It is a city with many beautiful older buildings, lovely parks. And a lot of homeless and a mix of business people who feel better than other people. The architecture is gorgeous. The people leave something to be desired. Stores close early and open up late. Very hard to get any kind of pet food. Unless you take transportation or drive miles on

I loved visiting the Mark Twain House but as we tried to find some interesting things to do there in the Hartford area, we didn't find much to our personal interests. We were there to watch the UConn men's soccer team but I'm not certain I'd revisit except for that reason alone. We did however learn that the witch trials originally happened here 30 years (app 1660's) before the Salem Witch Hunt but I found little to do in Hartford to learn more about this. The food in the city was good with a good selection of restaurants.

We only stayed at Hartford for one night, as a stop on our way to the Mohawk Trail / Mount Greylock. I wish now that we had allowed for a day's stay there as by the time we had seen only a little of the attractions of Hartford it was well into the afternoon. Places like Mark Twain's house and the River development are a must. If we ever get back to New England Hartford will be on our stay for a while list. An easy city to find your way around. almost limitless choices for excellent dining.
This whole apartment was like a house, with lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Not only was it a pleasure to stay in, it was ideally located in Hartford, literally a few steps always from several restaurants and shops, plus several tourist attractions. The staff that I spoke with online was easy to contact and checked in on how we were doing in a very welcoming and friendly manner. Would definitely stay again.
I stayed at the hotel Hilton Hartford for one night. The access to the hotel was easy by car and it has quite wide parking lots under the basement, which was also safe and convenient, costed USD 19.00 a night. The room was clean and good for a family to stay. They serve breakfast separately and I didn't have breakfast due to schedule. They responded quickly and kindly when asked.
The parking was very accommodating and convenient. The rooms were roomy, comfy, and clean. The best part was I need some direction within the hotel and I asked an employee for assistance. It was the HR Director. She was there holding down the fort on a Saturday. She was very helpful and friendly while directing guests to their proper location.
The view was tremendous and the bed comfortable and large. It's in a convenient location and the price is not bad. The staff were pleasant. The room was clean and had all the usual stuff you'd expect in a hotel room including tea and coffee, soaps etc.
The elevator has a sexy voice.
Excellent views over the Hartford Skyline. Apartment beautifully and tastefully decorated, bed was super comfy, great water pressure in the shower, rooms are spacious. Used both the washer and dryer which were great. A truly lovely apartment with a super responsive host.
Good location, only a short walk from the train station, Bushnell Park and downtown Hartford. Comfortable and spacious room with an amazing view of the Connecticut State Capitol. Access to air-conditioning and water was beneficial. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Oh my goodness the room was huge and beautiful and for a great price! I don't think I'll be traveling to Hartford again but I would stay here Everytime if I did. The shower was large and gorgeous. And the staff I interacted with was lovely and smart.
