I LOVE Fredericksburg.
I LOVE Fredericksburg. I love history and there is so much history here. I wish I had more time to see everything. There is a lot of shopping for those who like shopping, and just so much to do. The location and customer service was good. I enjoyed the fire pit downstairs. It allowed us to mingle with other guests and make new acquaintances. The rooms were a nice size but there was dog hair in our room as this is a pet friendly facility. A beautiful city which was exceptionally clean throughout, holding a lot of charm and history. They have done a tremendous job in keeping the history alive and available for tourists to get a taste of what it was like and the horror of the Civil War. Though I was primarily visiting to meet friends and get on the AutoTrain the next day, we did tour downtown Fredericksburg and found it a quaint town with many nice shops and old but well maintained historical buildings.
