The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator was large, which would have been handy for anyone needing that. Nice view outside my window.

The breakfast was outstanding -- a long list of options each prepared fresh. I usually have trouble sleeping in a new bed but I slept for 11 hours straight. The entire place is perfectly designed in 1880s style, each room offering splendid design details to look at and admire. But also modern enough to be subtly air-conditioned which was greatly appreciated on 90degree days. The hosts are very welcoming but never obtrusive. And the "welcome mutt" Stubby is the sweetest little guy. One of the best places I've ever stayed in.
