Detroit is becoming a revitalized city with many great restaurants, sporting venues and entertainment venues. Very walkable and increased transit system would make this the perfect city to visit. It's so good to see the re-birth of the buildings and the businesses making this a city vibrant and attracting more visitors each year.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be.
Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown area
This is a lovely hotel with very professional staff and surroundings. One of the best things is the location. Woodward Avenue is in the middle of so much and you can take the Q line trolley from the hotel to the Detroit Institute of Art and many other spots to visit. Also, we got in very late on a Thursday and the hotel has 24-hour room services. We were really hungry, and it was great to be able to order food to our room!
Detroit was a layover between two legs of a longer trip, so we didn't have much time to explore. That made the location of this hotel very important, as we got to pack in a lot of sightseeing before hitting the road again. The view from our room and from the restaurant where breakfast was served were excellent. The staff was super helpful and accommodating!
Location, nice big windows with interesting and good view. (Do need a clean tho). Lovely soaps etc. always makes a difference.
Lovely that this is an apartment and not a hotel so you really feel like you live and belong in Detroit.
Convenient shop directly underneath which sells hot fresh pizza and is generally incredibly useful!
I love a good historic hotel, and this one definitely fits the bill! They've left a lot of the old fire station character, but have updated it into a really comfortable hotel. It's in a good location in downtown Detroit, and the rooms are large and comfortable. We also loved the Apparatus Room for dinner and drinks!
We have stayed at this hotel. Many of times. We had a room with a great view, and a location is great, as it's right off the highway. They have started to renovate this hotel and make changes to the rooms which were greatly needed.Looks really nice now. They're still in the process but the room we had was upgraded.
new hotel in old redone landmark building. Beautifully detailed, fantastic room/studio. Very friendly staff. truly an excellent hotel.
Nice restaurant on premise. (le supreme), great service and food.
New rooftop bar
super location, walking distance from all downtown Detroit places and stadium
I was in town for my brother's funeral. Most of the family stayed at a hotel in downtown Detroit and paid more for one night than I paid for 2 nights, including tax. It was clean, safe and an excellent location. I would definitely consider again if I am in Detroit.
I like that the hotel was located near the waterfront of Detroit and around all the restaurants. I also liked that there was restaurants in the hotel. We also got an amazing view of the river from our room, which was a huge plus. The overall experience was good.
Cute! Everything in the hotel was done by local artists which is rad. The hotel has everything you need and the location is great. VERY comfortable beds. They have bikes but I just went on a walk to and around downtown Detroit instead. Loved it!
Continental breakfast with cereal and fruit in the peaceful living room suited me perfectly. Location in a salubrious corner just north of the downtown area and a stones throw from the Institute of Art is unbeatable in Detroit.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Facility was gorgeous. Location was perfect for enjoying all that Detroit has to offer. An easy walking distance to just about anything you would want to do downtown.
right in downtown Detroit, the staff was AMAZING, especially Evan at the front desk, & the cleaning staff was the friendliest I have ever seen at a hotel. The valet guys were great too!!
A generous and beautifully furnished apartment in Downtown Detroit with walking distance to everything. The apartment was quiet and secure with a very comfortable bed and large windows
Brilliant hotel everything was great. Was extremely pleased with the FREE shuttle service down to Ford Field and back on game day. Outstanding and would definitely use again
Honestly, nothing really stood out as something I liked...it was a typical hotel with a typical room. I did like the location in relation to the downtown area.
