Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

The property is older and you rent a bedroom that is quite small. But if you're a little more adventurous and you dig art, it's cool. If you're an artist who has hit the road on a tight budget, you're going to love it. If you're more of a luxury hotel traveler, you're not going to dig it. I thought it was great.
