The staff are super friendly and very helpful from the moment you walk in and are greeted throughout your stay. Room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Location is perfect for walking or riding one of the free bike rentals anywhere you want to go in town. Rooms are beautifully decorated, and they even include extra touches like robes and a personalized welcome note.

In the center of Kanab on the main road. Room was clean and comfortable with no issues. Hot tub was a bonus after a long day of hiking.

The pictures did not look anything like room, it was very run down. Toilet handle was broken, last guests hair was in the shower drain, and the bed was very stiff.

The overall hotel is clean, the outside looks clean too. The rooms are small but the bathroom was surprisingly big! Very nice. The tvs weren’t great, but all in all for just an overnight stay this place isn’t bad. HOWEVER, they have crap parking. Especially for trucks w or w/o trailers. We had to park our gooseneck across the street in the restaurants gravel lot and we had to leave early due to that.

We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood,...
We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood, because Gunsmoke was filmed in the area. Part of the original set is visible today outside of town, although it is falling down. The main street of Kanab is lined with markers with information about various actors and actresses that were in Kanab to make movies, particularly in the Western heyday. The Parry Hotel where many of the actors stayed displays pictures of these guests, many autographed. There is a free Little Hollywood Museum that has a few movie set remains and props that will take about 15 minutes to see. Kanab seemed like it would be a good hub for visiting Bryce, Zion, the Grand Canyon, and several state parks. Also, there is a pharmacy in Kanab. Pharmacies are super spread out in the area.

I quiet and pleasant town.
I quiet and pleasant town. Perfect for day excursions to Zion or Bryce. There is easy to difficult hikes right in the area. Food was good. The hospitality is fantastic. My two favorites: Adria and Shannon from Adria's Restaurant.

Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location.
Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location. I've done three great guided hiking tours while here (Peekaboo slot canyon, South Coyote Butte, White Pocket) that I will never forget. Plus several wonderful national parks in the area. My complaint is a shortage of restaurants that serve breakfast. Also no bars, but alcohol is available in restaurants.

Two nights in Kanab was about right to sightsee local attractions like the sand dunes and hike to the dinosaur tracks. Convenient home base for adventures in Paris canyon and other outstanding landscapes.

We enjoyed the stay very much.
We enjoyed the stay very much. The location was perfect for accessing the National Parks. Enjoyed learning the history of the area and how many movies and TV shows were filmed there. The pictures of all the celebrities at the motel brought a lot of nostalgia to us. Not much open on Sunday, so plan accordingly.
This Travelodge by Wyndham has the best people working at it. I lost something of personal value and called. They were just as concerned as me and looked and called me back the next day after they found it. They even helped send it back to me! Plus, this was one of the very few hotels that offered breakfast during these COVID times. For the rest of my trip, I've only been staying at Wyndham hotels. Everything was great! This hotel is very accommodating.
i always enjoy staying here. its super nice to have your own cabin and parking spot. very comfortable and will always choose this place to stay at every time we come to Kanab. definitely recommend this to anyone who don't want to stay in a hotel or likes to be comfortable with being in your own little space :)
we booked with 6 people so we had 3 beds in the cabin :) and a very reasonable price.
Hi,Hotel snob here. This hotel beyond exceeded my expectations. We weren’t able to find a hotel in Spring Valley and hotel options were pretty limited in Kanab during Memorial Weekend. The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel rooms were spotless, the bathrooms were big and clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay as our resting spot in between visiting Bryce and Zion. Definitely book!
Basic hotel to crash for the night. The housekeeping services are terrible, we found a box of chicken meal in the refrigerator, when they cleaned our room they didn't replenish with any loo roll, coffee tea, etc. The breakfast was ok, they don't have anything non vegetarian so bring your own protein. Otherwise it's is a good place to stay, just don't expect exceptional services.
The home was large, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to have a dog visit from Best Friends. I was able to have Zoom conferences with my office. The owners lived nearby, and they were very helpful. We had a slight water issue one day in one bathroom, but the owner was on it, and had it fixed immediately. It was a great house and we loved it!
We enjoyed our stay here at the Hampton Inn! It was right in the midst of the downtown area of Kanab. While it was downtown and there was a festive going on during our stay it was still quite by the hotel.
The property was clean, and the staff was incredibly kind. We would definitely come back here and stay if we were in the area again.
We toured the Southwest, including the Petrified Forest, the Grand Canyon, and National Parks in Utah. Stayed at a variety of hotels, motels, and inns, and Kanab Suites was the best of all. Clean, comfortable, and spacious, and includes a kitchenette, free laundry room, and a patio with a gas fire pit.
Good clean, comfortable and modern hotel with good facilities. I thought I was doing a good deed by 'rescuing' a trapped butterfly only to discover on opening the rear door that there were dozens of them there. Friendly staff and I loved the town of Kanab.
The location, we could walk to the restaurants and Kanab is a cute city
- the bed sheets were so soft
- the quality shower products
- the room had enough space
- very clean
- the little pool
Overall the quality is really, really good
You get what you pay for. We decided to stay in Kanab but didn't have a reservation. This was one of the last motels available so we got two rooms.
The pool was in decent condition and it had a 6 foot end. The kids loved that.
We support Best Friends as much as we can. They do great work and its for a great cause.
The Hotel/Motel was very nice, clean,"smart room", shower and bathroom were my favorite.
And of course the Vegan continental breakfast!
We love this hotel so much--we try to come through at least once a year on our way to Sedona. One of the best draws is the restaurant in the shared space, Sego. We had a lovely dinner there for our 20th wedding anniversary.
Great place to stay - comfortable, car parked in front of the small cabin, good location to start tours to Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, or visit the dinosaur tracks just northbound of Kanab
Wonderful hotel! I would recommend it to everyone! If you want to stay in any hotel in Kanab, choose this one! It is close to Zion (30 min) and Bryce Canyon (1,5 hour)
