Flagstaff is a great place to escape the heat. They offer several options for food, beer tasting and wine tasting. Out trip was during the month of July when the heat was high in southern Arizona so it was awesome to be in the more comfortable temperatures.

Loads of stuff to do here, especially in the historical part of town. We were staying for 2 nights as part of our Nevada/Utah/Arizona Road Trip & we then headed towards Williams & onto the old part of Route66. Plenty of great places to eat & drink too.
Definitely recommended!

We go to Durango every year and always stop in Flagstaff coming and going. It's a beautiful town with lots of activity because of the college. Many exceptional restaurants (check out Josephine's - fantastic cuisine), the Lowell Observatory is fantastic (one of the oldest in the United States), and Sedona is just a short drive for an afternoon of shopping and art galleries.

Not a lot to do in Flagstaff unless you are going to the Grand Canyon or Sedona. There are near by hikes. We did the Walnut Canyon National Monument. We hiked there to see the historic cliff dwellings.

It was AMAZING.
It was AMAZING. We attended their farmer's market, food festival, and county fair all in one day. Nothing too big or too small at each event, they were all just the right size. The weather when we went was nothing short of perfect. I would love to go visit Flagstaff again, if not move there.

Flagstaff is a lovely hippy University town about an hour from the Grand Canyon with murals. Makes an excellent pit stop when travelling to the Grand Canyon and has great souvenir shops to browse as it was also on Route 66. Also good opportunity to stock up on hiking goods or anything else needed.
Room upgrade due to issue with 1st room. Reception/lobby staff were great. Coffee was available anytime from reception This is an amazing building and hotel, it can be busy on an evening due to live music but this was no issue. Loved the hotel and town of Flagstaff
Andrew, the manager took special care that we got our Mac & Cheese - great service!
Also, we found the free dinner snacks exceptional and very tasty. Very nice hotel, a great place to stay.
After visiting many different hotels throughout the US, this hotel was very well looked after. The bathroom had no issues with loose hanging faucets, etc. The room was very spacious.
Hotel is well located and close to many restaurants and amenities. Room big, clean and comfy. Staff friendly and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Flagstaff
