Nice place to go. Not far from Grand Canyon, casino intertament and resort twin arrows. National Forest . Fresh air. We drive to Flagstaff from Phoenix. We are planning go to Arizona snowbowl. It’s just 3 hours drive. We like this city😍
We stayed in Flagstaff because of the close proximity to the Polar Express in Williams. All of the options for restaurants were great. We love going to Flagstaff to enjoy the snow because we live in the Phoenix area.
I absolutely love La Fonda Mexican Resturant, as do hundreds of others because it is always busy. Great food and friendly staff. I don't know the address and it is off 4th street going west. It is a couple of blocks and on another street. Use your GPS or ask a local. I just find it. Just down 4th street North on the right is Purl in the Pines Yarn shop. Michele the owner is usually there and so nice. She has a great stock of yarn including local dyers. If you are into the yarn arts, don't miss it. Getting around Flagstaff can be confusing so get good directions or rely on an accurate GPS system.
I always love going to Flagstaff! There's so much to do. Scenery is beautiful, downtown is a great area. Only 45 minutes to Sedona, hiking, skiing, biking. Salsa Brava has the best food ever! Traffic is always congested thru town but a small inconvenience for all that Flagstaff has to offer.
The downtown was great! You have to really pay attention to where you park or you will get a boot on your car, like we did! But the parking guy took it off free of charge when we explained that we were not from the area.

Superseded all expectations, however I would like to mention that the staff was AMAZING! I had an accident at the Grand Canyon, on our way back to Flagstaff we had snow. We barely made it back to the hotel leaving numerous vehicles sliding on the snow behind us. We couldn’t make it to the Hospital, because it was uphill. A gentleman called Sam and the night shift receptionist took such a good care of me. Sam gave me his personal number and offered a ride back to the hotel. They were AMAZING!!!

A short stroll from the downtown and old quarters of flagstaff where all the bars and restaurants are located. Despite being on a busy intersection the insulation kept out most of the traffic noise. The beds were comfortable and clean with plenty of bedding. Above upon checking out the manager pointed out to me that I had accidentally been overcharged and gave me a refund. It's wonderful and much appreciated to receive this sort of honesty. Thank you.
